'Watching this has been the most beneficial hour that I have ever spent training! I'm wanting to re-enter the interior design field after 12 years off while taking care of children and my elderly parents. I was totally lost on how to get started. Design principles have stayed the same but everything else has changed. When I was doing design most designer were still using paper & pencil for their floorplans. We would fill our cars with accessories, fabrics, catalogs & moods boards & travel to our clients house or business. E-design wasn't even invented yet. Great question! Most e-design is face to face at first as the designer assesses the space. Most all designers do some sort of e-design for their design presentations to their clients. I'm just showcasing it's simplest form but it's technology making our jobs easier and better visualized, so it works for lots of avenues.
