- We traveled to Peru and captured this little video as a companion to the Pisco Sour episode. We met up with Eloy Cuadros at Bar Morris of Hotel Maury, who has been making Pisco Sour's here for over 60 years. And they were delicious.
Come with us on a little journey to Peru. - Jak na to + styl
That's a beautiful drink! I'm especially impressed by the spoutless free pour, but with that amount of experience I'd imagine he knows the quantities by how they feel in his hand as well...
I had a couple and they were both perfectly balanced. He had the technique down, that's for sure.
Thanks. The guy is a part of history.
Love it
Sweet!! Very cool!
Next time definitely take Leandro.
Awesome! Oh man...the best specially with a spicy Ceviche.
Just picked up a bottle baby! Awesome vid Marius. Cheers
Description says Bar Morris instead of Maury! Looks like a cool experience
Thanks, we'll correct that. It's Bar Morris in the Hotel Maury :)
@@TheEducatedBarfly damn, I thought it was autocorrect but I guess I'm just a pedant
Does Eloy always misplace or forget cocktail implements like Leandro?
boo go make your own drinks

Racist bar -This was my worst experience in Lima. This bar discriminates against Asians and also Peruvians who are NOT white. And they are also tax evaders. I really wanted to go to the bar of the Hotel Maury to have the first Peruvian Pisco Sour. I asked the 70 year old bartender how historic the establishment was and he told me to Google it. The place was completely empty. After half an hour, a Norwegian couple and a Peruvian came in and the bartender not only shaken their hands, but sat down and told them his story. I found this kind of treatment in a historic place totally offensive and truly disgusting. And in the end when paying they didn't even give us the receipt asking twice, they answered simply we don't give.
The worst part, it wasn't even the best tasting Pisco.
