The scene ties into Wheatley's death scene@@tayammourad447 . More than two darts are needed to sedate the Indoraptor. This is explained in the deleted scenes where the Indoraptor is playing with the skull. A worker goes in to fix a lightbulb and is killed by the Indoraptor. It's later explained by a character that more than two darts are needed to tranq the Indoraptor, but the scene was cut, which was a big mistake on the director's and the editors' parts.

@Larkky actually its Previsualisation. With the cost and time needed to do action set pieces today, big studios hire smaller studios like "The Third Floor" to essentially map out an action scene before any filming using basic 3D animation. This animation is then used as reference for the final film. So technically if something was animated in previsualisation but not shot at all in live action it would have been cut very early in a film's production. There's a whole workflow now called Previs, Techvis and Postvis that involves these studios working parallel to the main production.

Think about it, does it really makes sense? I mean it's never implied he would FEED A MONSTER WITH HUMANS, he killed an old man directly and probably would order his men to shoot but throw a person to be eaten alive? I mean I would has put the scene but with a bull skull probably. Also, maybe it was cut to reserve the surprise for the ending (although improbable)

As much as I love the movie, predators don't randomly kill things when they are running for their lives. Hunting is a very specific thing they do in order to not be hungry.
What if a tiger is hungry for 3-4 days and is running away from a forest fire. It won't hunt a deer it finds in the way?

IndoGoji no, in fact the T. rex in the beginning was originally going to be a dilo, (referencing nedrys raincoat on the guy with the tablet) but they thought it wouldn’t be suspenseful enough with such a tiny dino, and the T. rex was considered for a comeback

The scene mosasaurus eyes is just an edit from the trailer...the real scene is when the reverse the mosasaurus open its mouth
Seems the most possible, there usually is never a full cgi scene that gets cut as CGI is way to expensive to waste
Which I think the Mosasarurus opening it's mouth was a better scene between the two.

1) eye opening
2) indoraptor playing with scull

Not sure which scenes were actually filmed and then not included, and which scenes were just never shot at all...but there are a few I can think of off the top of my head:
-the dilophosaurus model they built for the opening sequence, rather than just having its call.
-as shown, the indoraptor playing with the skull. However, there's a scene that was supposed to explain whose skull it is, and also explain the significance of Wheatley using two darts and not three. The skull belongs to an electrician. The indoraptor feigned unconsciousness after being shot with 2 darts, so that the electrician could get into its cage. It jumps up and kills and eats him, and everyone else makes a note that they need to use 3 darts next time. That's kind of an important scene, I'm not sure why it wasn't included.
And would explain on why the info smiled before killing. Since the electrician would always smile before shocking him . it just picked up on that as form of behavior it thought it had to do

@Prometheus actually its previsualization. A fairly new process that is part of preproduction where all the big sfx heavy scenes of a film are planned out using basic animation so they have an idea of how everything will tie together in the final film and can have the vfx studios start work earlier using the previs as reference for the shots instead of waiting for the plates to arrive from the actual shoot.

Why oh why were there soo many scenes deleted the mososaurus eye scene would be good to see the Ford Explorer would have been better the Indoraptor with human skull 💀 should have been added to add it fear and since it has already the taste of human flesh and would be cool for that scene it it dragged the skull back and all you see in the back is it’s glowing eyes just to add fear.

I’m glad they did not show the eye. It’s kinda overdone in movies in my opinion, and also the monster gets sooo much more menacing when you show as little of it as possible

One thing I hate about this movie is how when all the dinosaurs are running away from the volcano, they try to kill each other while running.. that’s not realistic...
