- Pluma never wants to leave her mom’s side, so she goes all over with her, even camping! She wasn’t a fan of other chickens and immediately fell in love with Esther. The two grew incredibly close and their travels brought them even closer. Pluma was the first chicken Esther was close with and showed her she is 100% a chicken person

Chicken birds are very social and are intelligent like crows. Their feelings are not because of food... You became the world for them.
I had a small bantem rooster that I named Bird. He would lie on my chest and go to sleep while I petted him. He was awesome. RIP Bird and Pluma. ❤
I've a chicken that is very close to my heart, she is clingy as well, but doesn't like to be held. She follows me everywhere, when I'm in the garden and talk to me a lot. I've never thought before, a bond like this can occur with a chicken, she is like my best friend. Since we've got her, I didn't eat chicken meat.

I'm so glad I found this video. It makes me feel so dear! I once had a flock of chickens. For a while some kind of infectious disease caused their feathers all falling off and all the chicken in my backyard looked like the supermarket chicken coming back to life and standing up. Then they pecked at each other. One of the chickens was the smallest. For some reason, he was half the size of the other chickens and never grew up. The other chickens always bullied him. The skin on the top of its head was pecked and eaten. Before it healed, those chickens started to peck that area again. I had no choice but to raise it alone inside my house. From then on, this little chicken regarded me as his only buddy in life. Every time I came back from outside, he would run to me quickly, follow me closely, and never leave for a moment. Unfortunately, one day this little one was letting out for some fresh air in the yard, he was lost. I don't know what animal stole it. I felt so heartbroken. I still want to cry whenever I think about it now😢😢😢😢
RIP Pluma. I never knew that a chicken can be affectionate and loving. Pluma definitely was a princess. She had an adventure happy life.🌈🐓❤🌸🌺

They make great companions, Great house pets-even roosters, maybe even more so than a hen because they are protective and will crow if they see someone around the house that is not family. They snuggle with you. They can learn tricks and commands. Highly recommend!

I had a rooster move on to my property from God knows where and adopt me. He was my friend for a couple of years and he would follow me around like a dog. Chickens have a lot of personality.

I have a "special needs" chick that is about 6 months old. She has deformed legs (thick and crooked) and couldn't walk for 2 months so I had to give her baths, trim her nails, and keep her separated from all of her sisters. She hasn't grown much and looks like she's only 6 weeks old. I took her to a vet and he said it could be a number of things, but he thinks it could be arthritis which is genetic with some chickens. We would love to bring her inside, but our cat looks at her like she's a nugget, so we just let her run free on the patio for now. We have taken her out with us and she seems to like going to Chipotle and share a veggie bowl with me lol. She loves attention and now that she can walk again she follows me everywhere. Last week I fell asleep on the patio and woke up with her resting next to me. Animals are a precious gift and I feel God gave her to us because He knew that we would take care of her and make her life comfortable while she's alive.
This was just the cutest thing I've ever seen! So sweet!!!! Pluma was a very special chicken that lived a very special life. I know Pluma was a happy Birb that knew what love was. Pluma is no doubt in chicken heaven.
