- Nick shows you how moor in a Mediterranean style marina. Daunting at first, a few little bit of practice you should be able to master this and look like a seasoned pro!

EXCELLENT presentation...liked the TROLLEY, as well!
Clearest on CZcams - well done
Great ... if ever I need to park my shopping cart in The Med I'm all wised up. :)
Superb explanation. Plus i love seeing Cala Dor marina brings back great memories.
Seriously, best video on mooring. I have watched heaps. Well done.
4 years, only saw it today... but didn’t loose my time, great great practical explanation, thank you Sir !
Thank you - good advice never grows old 😂
Great explanation! as beginner and hopefully one day owner of boat thank you for great job!
Best video on the topic
Absolutely great video
clear explanations to the point
well done
keep them coming please
Great video Nick. Love the shopping trolley!
8:02 I would recommend to go now in slow speed forward until you tightened the mouring line. This stabilises the boat in unfavourable weather. Anyhow I found your vid absolutely superb! Servus from Austria
Hi Nick. That was awesome. Great information with simple easy details. Thanks 😊
Practice makes perfick!
Amazing instruction thanks for making this video.
Interesting.
Great explanation and illustration
Thanks MM !
Simply brilliant and brilliantly simple. Great video and so easy to understand. Off to TESCO to practice. 👍👍👍
Love a Tesco trolley 😂
Wish I'd known all this before bringing a 13M ketch into the Med from the States. Single prop, no bow thruster, usually some obnoxious wind - it wasn't easy the first few times! Worst part? Definitely those scummy lazy lines that line underwater and gather mud and moss. Definitely recommend gloves when handling lazy lines.
Here here
Just watched the Monaco F1GP and seeing those yachts berthed stern to I wondered how they attached those bow lines. Now I know:-) Great explanation:-)
Cannot beat a trolley 😊
well explained ty
Start of departure - 3:17
End of departure - 5:35
Start of arrival - 6:43
End of arrival - 8:35
Very Practical.
Very nice👍
Couldn’t t explain it better
didnt show the forward mooring line being picked up. Just felt like tied off the lazy line, wouldnt have released any line until my engines are running either

Excellent instructions to mediterranean docking, but you failed with your knot technique.
The cleat hitch at 08:04 is wrong (locking).
Improve your knot skills or else use the OXO-method.
Greetings
What's the OXO method?
@@darthkek1953Hi, the OXO method or OXXO method is the technique for tying a line to the cleat for UK boaters when they want to take the Yachtmaster certificate. Btw the US Cost Guart teach and use this technique as well.
I know this technique as well although I have a German boater's certificate.
I assume this is a UK boater, so I recommend he stick with the technique he learned during his training.
Where I live, they use to say "Schuster bleib bei deinen Leisten" (cobbler stick to your last). ;-))
Superb. Only thing I would like to have seen in detail is the operation to reverse in.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Hmmm.... pulling a boat around by the mooring lines rather than using the engine for assistance!? Not so sure about that!
Really clear and non technical
