The texans were just inches away from missing the playoffs last year entirely, and they only did make it due to one bad gardner minshew throw in week 18. Them getting hunter is nice, but diggs isnt gonna be as good as people think and Mixon was 64th in YPC last season. The division is tough this year. They should get no more than 10 wins. (10-7)
I’m a Chargers fan, and I can see the Chargers going 9-8 and maybe making it to playoffs, but from a Chargers fan perspective, I see the Packers being overrated. Jordan Love is good, but he’s not on the same level as Mahomes, Hurts, Lamar etc. But I see the Lions winning the division again.
It’s possible they get more wins since our main issues were bad receivers and bad O-line, we signed Robert Hunt and Damien Lewis for better protection for Bryce to have time to throw and we got Johnson and Legette so receivers can catch. Losing Burns and Luvu hurts but we got some decent replacements like DJ Wonnum and Jadeveon Clowney
Not one mention of klint kubiak. Derek carr had a better stats than baker Mayfield last year, derek carr had 25 tds to 8 ints. Mayfield was 28 tds to 10 ints. Mayfield had a 94.4 rating, derek carr with a 97.7. Rashid shaheed was 3rd I'm the nfl with explosive tds last year. Kamara was suspended for 3 games and still put up over 1000 all purpose yards. And to say the saints defense is washed? Tyran matthew had 4 ints. And demario davis had his beat season in his entire career last year. And Cameron Jordan was INJURED last year, that's why is production was down. Plus marshon lattimore is back too. Saints biggest weakness is the o line, and the system klint kubiak is bringing to new orleans takes alot of pressure of of the o line, because the plays don't take a long time to develope. Pete carmichaels offense had very long routes that too 5+ seconds to develope. With a bad o line that's a recipe for disaster.

A loss like that can set a franchise back a couple years. Like outside of the Bengals in the last handful of years, it's rare to see a team go back the very next year afterward. I think they'll be back eventually, just not next year.

They gave up a desperation long conversion on a pass that bounced off a defender's face mask and into the receiver's hands. The Lions outplayed the Niners in every facet of the game, including coaching, but four bad luck plays all went SF's way to give them the win.
