The Cher cameo is the simply unparalleled comedy gold. Sean Hayes is at his absolute apex as Jack, and I’m sure he must've been somewhat nervous to imitate Cher, to her face, and as a caricature at that. But he pulled it off like a true pro and created such an iconic, hilarious moment that still makes me laugh out loud today.
Britney is a close second cos she totally killed it, and you can tell she knew exactly who that girl was, from the accent to the inflection, she nailed it.
I would love to have sat in on the table read and rehearsals for that scene with Sean and Cher. It's amazing they got through it without corpsing. 😄

I loved Michael Douglas as the detective when Wills laptop was stolen.
Glenn Close doing "Fannie Lieber" (as a spoof on Annie Liebovitz) split my sides when I first saw it, especially when she says to Will, "I'm not in the business of minimizing foreheads, I'm in the business of maximizing truth...you have a big forehead and that's the truth!!!" and then grabs his face and kisses him on the mouth. I was hysterical.

Will and Grace -- admit it -- is a bit over-the-top, but still one of the funniest shows that has ever aired.
Nothing compares to that first Cher episode. Completely iconic. But Matt Damon most definitely should have been on this list. Especially over Madonna.

That’s one of my favorite episodes! It was flawless.
That was the best episode in my opinion
It was perhaps the best episode ever of W&G, seemingly geared up for Emmy / Golden-Globe considerations - since it was the full ensemble, without the typical A-story/B-story format.
Even guest stars I never liked were funny on this show. 😂 Sharon Stone as Will's therapist and Mcaulay Culkin as Karen's lawyer are two of my favorites.

I think it was because she decided to play it in her own comedic comfort zone. One of W&G's producers recently was on a podcast, complaining that he wrote Liz as an uptight, NYC office worker that took herself too seriously. He claimed this concept would have been so much more funny (which I disagree with STRONGLY, lol...) But Madonna wanted Liz to be more eccentric - a weird, self-delusional New Yorker. I think it worked really well, especially opposite Megan's often self-delusional Karen. The two paired together were awesome.
