That's the issue with black metal crowds. I sure don't want intense moshing/crowdkilling going on like it's a hardcore show but come on, at least dont be scared to headbang...
@@mvxsdreams exactly. Being in a hardcore pit detracts from the performance going on at a black metal show, but some headbanging and even some pushing contact is fine - for that energy transfer. But this crowd was standing dead still, for the most part. It just struck me as odd.
@@mvxsdreams lol me and my buddy were screaming the lyrics to Salomon's gate and headbanging during Beherit and this loser in front of us got so bothered and almost got in a fight with another guy after moving away from us who was moving around a little too. I'm not a fan of hardcore crowdkilling but being a maniac and moving around/shove moshing is crucial Same thing happened during Blasphemy. Some aussies I met were moshing cause they were FINALLY seeing Blasphemy live (who played a CRUSHING set) and some fucker tried picking up and slamming one of them cause they got bumped in the mosh.

It's Japan. That type of crowd isn't out of the ordinary there.
