Two questions:
1: Do you think Frank would kill us if we tried to make him do the 430 dart challenge with this blaster?
2: How many hours do you think it would take to fling 430 darts with that?
Remember, he did there challenge with a Jolt
Hahaha doooooo it
Yes to the challenge yes he would kill us and around 48 hours to shoot all 430 darts.
1: He already did a 430 dart challenge with the jolt.
2: Maybe add 15 more minutes to the jolt’s overall time.
3: The Amban Pulse blaster is already the biggest Jolt reskin.
Best thing ever 😅😂
This is the absolute pinnacle of jolt reskins.
its for collecters
dang, you said it first.
It's actually extremely accurate to the words material
Damn you said it before me
That is very true
It's loading mechanism is extremely accurate to the source material of star wars
The everything else not so.
@lawsom2100 not relevant
@lawsom2100 ur daddy is my baby
@lawsom2100 lol the word random is in ur name
@lawsom2100 u don't have one
Those prongs at the end of the barrel are actually shock prods. Makes this rifle both a deadly ranged and close quarters weapon. Also the stock definitely should’ve been longer.
I agree
@Kekyoin bayonet but zappy
@Kekyoin KAYOIN!
So a bayonet with extra budget. Okay.
Correct
Fun fact: in the Star Wars universe, this blaster (a disintegration weapon) is an actual war crime. Canonically. Apparently, disintegration is VERY painful.
@@dianaoquinn2616 no it destroys all your cells one by one its so painful it feels like an eternity for the victim but seconds for the shooter
On the upside, nobody shot with it ever complains.
@@Crlarl wonder why. 🤔🤔
How would they know it's painful, no one's survived it
The way it’s been made does get the job done, but it really could have been done so much better, both as a prop and as a blaster. For the price being asked, I would hope that hasbro could at least get it made to look more like the blaster on the show, with performance much more on par with other stock blasters. Heck, I’d even pay a little more for all that, and for it to be more in line with some higher performance blasters, since in the show it’s basically the Star Wars equivalent of an elephant rifle.
More than an elephant rifle, me thinks. Maybe an anti tank rifle.
@@averagejoe8358 either way, it’s intended for making sure whatever you shoot is dead. And also has a supercharged cattle prod for a bayonet.
@Luckylucc i mean within legal limits of course
Also would’ve been cool if there was an included stand for the Blaster as it is a Collector’s Item and should have something to display it.
It looks so plastic toy-like it hurts. Especially the gold parts.
This should’ve been a rival blaster imo, still looks epic though
But I mean nerf darts look more accurate to the rounds used in the show
Honestly it should have been a rival blaster probably could have had internal magazine of at least three rounds
@@Kaminari_Kitsunokami in the show its a single shot blaster though
I wanna see someone mod this to make it a rival blaster
It might be easier to make it shoot hyper instead
*Note:* if you like the blaster, but 120 dollars is just too much for you, get the "Mango Mando": it's bright orange and doesn't have the LED and sounds, but is SO MUCH CHEAPER. Still expensive, and not practical, but if you want a prop, you're better off spending 60 dollars than 120, because the box of this one gets screwed by Amazon's shipping labels.
sounds good tbh cheaper and better
They did that to my Nerf Halo assault rifle box when I ordered it
my box came in anoter box and personally, I gotta have the sounds
I can’t find it can you provide a link?
@@nickr831 lol you want to pay $60 more for cheap lame sound effects you could mod in yourself
Been waiting for this blaster to come out for months. Love the mandalorian and love his sniper. Habro did 5/10 bringing it to nerf. They didn’t get the colors right but it looks pretty cool. It’s definitely way overpriced
There is supposed to be a more expensive version with acurate paint from what i remember but i might be wrong
@@antonindufournaud6572 this is that version, unfortunately
They could have gotten the colours more accurate, but they’re also trying to sell it as a toy, so they have to make it look more like a toy than a firearm.
@@3man659 I can see that, but at the same time it's not that hard to just make the front orange and keep the rest true to the show
@@McZambie1 unfortunately with the frequency of gun violence in the US I think the days of “it’s okay it has an orange tip” are well behind us. Even for something as obviously a toy as this.
if this thing was half the price and not a "limited" blaster, I would love to get one of these. Pretty accurate, looks cool, and I REALLY want to paint it.
Well do I got news for you 😁
@@luisamador8460 yea nerf just released a 50$ version of it
The stock should be longer, in the show it is mainly used as a sniper but also as a shock prod. The loading system and the single shot loading is made to be accurate to the show and it looks to be a very cool prop gun
The loading mechanism is amazing, but It looks like it would break if you played with it too much. I love the way they made it, but with the white it looks kinda cheap. I have no idea why they didnt make it grey
I’m assuming it has to do with the laws regarding how toy firearms cannot be painted to resemble real fire arms (at least in America and I’m pretty sure here in Canada as well).
Too much grey would (at a distance) make it look like a real gun and cause several issues in that regard.
I enjoy the unique loading system some of these one offs have. The McCree blaster comes to mind, hard to use but totally unique. That does it for me.
if they made it grey it would probably look too much like a real weapon
Other than it looking too much like a weapon, this is a NERF blaster at heart, not a proper prop replica. The colours make it more fitting among the NERF line up while giving it a "premium" feel.
tbh, they could have just used a loading mechanism similar to the New Air Warriors Bolt Action Sniper Predator Foam Dart Blaster Gun Toy Buzz Bee
The proportions of the stock look way off from the show prop. It looks like it should be able to be gripped like a traditional Monte Carlo stock and not like a grip-less pistol grip stock, but the mold for this was way too bulky (probably for durability reasons).
As a fan of Nerf and Star Wars, I can safely say that the Mandalorian is extremely successful, but not successful enough to justify the price of that blaster. In my region it starts at 180$. I am 100% sure i can find other prop toys that resemble the rifle of the protagonist in the Star Wars series for less than half the price. Even if they don't actually shoot, the firing performance on that thing is neglegible at best. And overall, it doesn't even look that similar to the equivalent blaster in the actual series, so if you're a cosplayer you might aswell go without it. Don't recommend it.
Um actually, the blaster is from the holiday special
@@QueenKunniK
Stir, whip, stir, whip, whip, whip, stir!
the mussel device is a tuning fork for the blaster bolts that doubles as a electric bayonet
It's a slug thrower though
Honestly this would be an awesome blaster if it was $25 or $50, but for $120? And it's not even actually limited, maybe if it didn't look like something you would make with a pvc pipe, I really hope that nerf makes future lmtd blasters much better or cheaper
I was also thinking it'd be much cheaper to make your own prop out of pvc pipes
There’s a cheaper one that looks worse but is still the same boater
Me personally I'm excited for Q4 of next year when Nerf Gjallarhorn from Destiny 2 comes out. It looks cool and the mechanisms are actually complex sounding so, who knows. I have high hopes for a Nerf collector item.
Really cool breech loading mechanism. I hope they use that design in normal nerf blasters in the future.
Do you have to manually close the breach or can you pull back the prime handle and it will close automatically?
you have to close it manually
I honestly expected it to shoot rival and not elite and also the stock is alot shorter than it should be compared to the one in the series
Nope, the stock is about the right proportion to the blaster.
@@professorpink223 coop is about 6'4 and has issues shouldering it, the actor for holder of the rifle in the series is most likely shorter than coop and has no issues shouldering it, keep in mind the blaster would fit coop perfectly if it was the same exact proportions.
@@osmosiscerulean This blaster isn't designed for Frank though. Just because something is proportionate doesn't mean it fits everybody. Being proportionate to the person isn't the same thing as having parts of the blaster be proportionate to each other.
@@Seismitoad3 i get what your saying but the stock in general doesn't sit right with the rest of the blaster, it's a big blaster but seems to fit more being shouldered by someone who's like 5'8, but the rest of the blaster in size looks like it should be held by someone who's bigger than that, even so I'm still decently certain the stock is bigger in the series
@@Seismitoad3 in fact look at the stock on the one in series, its definitely longer than the nerf one
Bruh I wanna see this but cut off the scope and the top prong on the front and have nerf musket warfare
You should do a video where you talk about the guns that doesn't exist, but you would want that nerf made
As a nerfer, this is decent. As a star wars fan, this is a dream come true.
You know what we need, a Nerf Boba Fett Blaster Rifle.
Boba Fett is in this comment section?!
Where?! Where?!
@@Valken985 This is a nerf Boba Fett Rifle. He used this in the cartoon segment of the holiday special, almost 50 years ago.
@@Valken985 they're coming out with a nerf Boba fett Blaster comes out next march
This would be a great weapon for those Civil War game types if anyone ever plays them. But, it is a pretty nice looking Nerf gun with a an accurate loading mechanism. It would be better if it used Nerf Rival rounds instead of the Elite darts. But hey, at least it is spot-on accurate and makes a great display item. It's very accurate to Din Djarin's laser rifle seen in The Mandalorian. So, it has that going for it. I believe there are some people out there who will mod this blaster to shoot Nerf Rival rounds so it can be more accurate or they stick in wafflehead darts. I would love to see you do a review on the Nerf Halo Needler and compare it to the BoomCo version. It would be a great review to see.
No particular interest in this blaster, but I'd like to see the loading mechanism in cheaper, more practical blasters
Its unreal to me that this blaster, a hasbro pulse "exclusive" that you originally had to get up real early in some cases to pre order, Can now just be bought like its no big deal off amazon for less and get it before xmas. I've heard tale of those that pre-ordered a year ago still not receiving the blaster though my assumption is that the ones available on amazon now are those preorders that were canceled from fans that just couldnt continue waiting and waiting for this product. Not the greatest look for a line of blasters that are supposed to be limited and exclusive to a particular service and putting doubts on the other products on offer with the halo needler and and alien pulse rifle.
The Mandolorians’ logic was: “Oh, jedi can block lasers? Have fun with this buckshot.”
Sick blaster! One of my favorites (cosmetically)!
Cosmetically, yes, performance wise? heck no.
This is the first blaster I already have before watching your review. It’s a blaster from the Mandalorian series. Interesting that the firearms in Star Wars, like Nerf; are also called blasters, not guns. I think. By the way, it is so good to see you’re looking really good and well lately. 👍
Eh, it's more of a prop than an actual blaster made for even casual Nerf wars
Nerf has been releasing quite a few prop-style blasters lately with the Halo stuff and now this, along with older SW-themed blasters. Makes me wonder if they'll ever do something DOOM-related because that would definitely be cool. If they ever put a Nerf Super Shotgun prop up for sale, I would definitely consider purchasing it
doubt it unless DOOM is no longer rated mature
It’s Rated M so never
@@Galahad993 Halo is rated M for mature and yet it had some weapons be brought into nerf.
@@GriffenSpadeIsBack Halo Infinite is rated T for Teen, which the new Nerf brand Halo blasters are based on. Don't know what's the deal with the Boomco Halo blasters though, those are from a totally different company. But then again, the Alien blaster is from movies that are rated R. Maybe it's different for LMTD blasters and maybe there is a possibility of an LMTD DOOM blaster.
@@captsomeguy1 the boomco halo ones were based on the halo titles before infinite hence why i said what i said. and most of the halo games are rated m for mature. so i can actually see Hasbro one day make some DOOM weapons like the super shotgun and such.
I have always loved nerf, but never actually gotten into it.
Yet here I am, watching 15 Coop videos a day.
How did you do this to me?
in star wars its an custom made extremly powerful blaster the actully turns people in to dust its also a sniper
This is a great Star Trek blaster. I'm excited to buy it and become a Klingon warrior that will get all of the bounties that the Ferengi offer. Anyway Dart Zone is great see you space cowboys.
LOL
The action is pretty cool. I wonder if you could mod this into a civil war era breach loading carbine or a trapdoor Springfield type action
As for its effectiveness, it isn’t meant to be necessarily effective. It’s just meant to be a neat collectors item that copy’s the weapon used by Din Jarin in The Mandalorian. For what it is, it’s very very cool and works exactly as it’s supposed to, though yeah I agree it should’ve been a bit better in terms of plastic and maybe the coloring. I think I would’ve liked to see it be the same color or similar as it is in the show, with maybe a slightly longer stock. From the Nerf side of things, the blaster is sub par and a bit complicated and slow to fire but it isn’t his main weapon in the show for that reason I think. Overall I think it’s a good product, maybe slightly overpriced.
The 'cheapness' your feeling may a lightness consideration to help cosplayers wear it all day at a con. A lighter prop is usually more preferred over a working, sturdy blaster. However I agree that makes it prone to being damaged and that sling holder is a real concern in such cases.
This makes me a little worried for the limited gjallarhorn as that's only $40 more for what looks to be a blaster that is almost double the size of this.
From the description it'll fire mega darts and use shells somehow. It'll also fire three darts at once. I fully expect it to be better than this.
Now, all of nerf’s branded blasters are more expensive than their contemporaries. Mostly because they require more plastic and more specifically molding techniques. However the Star Wars blasters have always been by far the most expensive. Now a decent amount of the price for the gjalahorn definitely went into the details and the fact it’s four feet long, but it won’t demand the same “brand tax” as Star Wars does. So it should be more value efficient. Hypothetically.
@@benjaminmiller3523 I'd agree, at least so long as Hasbro doesn't make it a HAMP
The most extreme and best looking jolt reskin.
Anything involving Disney is currently extremely overpriced. For a piece of molded plastic like this I'd pay 20, maybe 30 bucks, no more. Its really expensive, for what it mechanically is. For a 100$ I'd expect it to be a stylized full auto rival blaster, or at least a real good hyperfire-style dart blaster. Well, our perception of worth is truly different.
I feel like if someone just swapped the normal spring out for a really powerful spring it could be good.
Nice job on the review, thanks for having a positive attitude on it unlike other people.
That breach loading giving me real Martini Henry vibes
me too, im thinking of modifying my phase pulse blaster into a martini henry lol
Made me think of the trapdoor Springfield personally
Star Wars collectors watching "Le Unboxing", "It was as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."
The way to hold the blaster is to go prone because any time in the Mandalorian series Mando wants to use the blaster, he is always prone. He uses a different blaster for closer engagements.
I'd love to see a 430 darts challenge with this blaster.
Whenever I see your videos I feel nostalgic
Hi , this is just a quick question.
Do you think a nerf rifle that is 115 FPS is ok to use indoors. And if a 115FPS rifle isn’t suitable, which rifle should I get that looks awesome and shoots amazing.
I can imagine this in a history style nerf war, like pre WW1 stuff with muskets, maybe a modded spring tho to make it stronger
2 videos a week, is this the new shedule? Love it, thank you sir
THIS is what we need more from content creators. Not too long, not misleading, and straight to the point videos. Respect to you
I’ve seen you before, with the same comment, on a different video! Are you a bot?
I have a feeling this has an interesting mod potential…. Imagine a completely revamped internal system, k25 spring, and then a brass barrel going the entire length of the barrel.
Coop thank you for the return of nerf stereo types😁
Edit: it’s the mandolorians a ban phase pulse rifle and when shot at a target it disintegrates the target
Priciest jolt ever
cosmetic wise, this blaster looks really cool
Maybe but the paint job is hella cheap the fake wear on the blaster is literally silver sharpie and the gold paint takes no effort to remove. For $120 this is not the kind of quality that I think anyone would be ok with
The front is an electric prod. In the show The Mandalorian, he uses the front to melee attack people.
There’s apparently a retail version coming soon for around $60, the only major differences being mostly orange and no sounds.
That breach system is amazing, damn
Rival blaster with a kronos/takedown loading system with this breach?
This is the most expensive jolt reskin ever
Its a sniper in Star wars, and in The Mandalorian Tv Show, there is no grip on by the trigger, so it is meant to be like that.
Speaking as a collector of Nerf Star Wars blaster and have both the special edition and the standard version of this rifle.
I wouldn't recommend the Mandalorian Ambian Pulse rifle for comptitive Nerf battles but it will work for foam blaster shootouts at cons which take place at a indoor space (which I do it on a regular basis) and you can use the deluxe version of a blaster as ether a cosplay prop or display piece.
Nerf should of included a pressurised air tank in the stock instead of it being spring powered, so it would be practical by shooting hard and far as well as it still looking cool and being worth that price tag.
I think the blaster would’ve been better if they didn’t just re-release it with no sounds/lights for under half the price
The dart you reload for this blaster is a disintegration bullet and pulling the trigger without a dart loaded is basically just shooting a classic laser from star wars
My god, they might actually come through with the destiny launcher.
Seeing this for the first time gives me hope, I actually can't believe they put this level of awesome gimmick into a blaster.
I hope I can still get one of these.
The only inaccuracy is that it doesn't disintegrate targets that you shoot but I can understand why
It’s meant to be a blaster that’s so op (one shot) that it was even made illegal in the empire and the thing at the very start is like a electro staff edge
Loving the mid-week content again. Once a week just isn't enough. Lol
If we take this blaster outside we will look like a witch or wizard 🤣🤣
For those who don't know. This blaster is used by the Mandalorian, he's similar to Boba Fett
imagine if they had used the entire length of the barrel to put a flywheel/belt XD
Hey Coop you should make a video on the Worker Dominator. It Is a very cool and pretty practical blaster by worker. The coolest feature is it can use a Double stack magazine and regular magazine
Ya known, a sawn-off version of the cheaper version of this would be a pretty cool blaster.
in short, this blaster is probably the best thing to a star wars fan, not a competitive nerfer(im both). the attention to detail is crazy.
it’s also really cool how we got breach-loading back in nerf cuz this is the first of its kind since the barrel-break.
Pretty sure there is another version released with different colours, no lights and sounds and costs between $50-80......... Also from what I've seen from all other reviews of this thing, as a cosplay prop it's good as a nerf blaster it's total Dog S&+*
They should’ve made the prongs out of foam, imagine firing your single shot then bayonet charging.
The front bayonet thing is supposed to be a tazer or something so you can you can use it as some sort of electric pike which is why the grip is like that
Love your videos Coop, always have. Great to see you looking well. My only constructive criticism would be to research Star Wars and The Mandalorian. The blaster is a very good representation of the phase pulse blaster used by Mando. Be great to have heard about it in your unique delivery. Stay cool, stay safe and no disintegrations.
How about a 430 darts challenge with this blaster? 🤪😉
It shouldn‘t take much longer than an episode of the mandalorian. 😂😂😂
This is a good blaster to mod into a Martini Henry. You just need to remove the tongs and the scope and give it a more wooden look and pow.
I just realized Coop hasn’t watched the Mandalorian, because if he had then he wouldn’t be wondering what the electrodes at the front of the blaster are for. What the heck?
9 year olds be like: HeY LoOk iTs tHE guN frOm fOrtnitE!
The loading mech is basically like a Beretta Tomcat/Bobcat. Pretty cool.
That gun canonically causes the victim to suffer a TON of pain because a few milliseconds through disintegration feels like to them like 3 minutes.
I think this would've been better as a Rival blaster. We've had so many Elite jolt reskins
This looks like a fun plinker, especially if you need to handicap yourself against younger kids.
Co-Branding stuff is always pricier, and put "limited" label on it, instantly multiply it by 4 times 😅
Your note about the barrel being long, I agree. I wonder if you'd be able to improve performance if you cut the barrel off at a shorter length.. just a thought
I just wish they had made it more powerful, I mean in the Mandalorian this rifle is a disintegration rifle.
If someone mods this to be a powerful long range blaster.
The red light glint and noise would be terrifying
It’s basically the NERF version of an old musket because of the long size and being a single shot.
Buying the blaster because it's in The Mandalorian😕
Buying the blaster because it's in the Holiday Special 😃
Awesome to see you're back with twice weekly uploads! Dont over work yourself though!😄
For those who want the blaster but want the best price there’s a fully orange one for like 50 - 70 bucks, This version is probably just for cosplayers and roleplayers
Bruh this is such a good gun but then I noticed
𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙖 𝙟𝙤𝙡𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣
I'd love to make a sniper esque version of this by tilting it to the side with that load mech
nifty jolt reskin,
jokes aside, the blaster looks fun and i do like that they kept to the source materel but man that price, at most id spend around 60 bucks maybeee 70 if they wanted to be stingy but 126 bucks is just a bit too high for me. would love to goof around with it tho but at that point id probably just go out and make my own Mandalorian prop.
Is it bad the only reason I want this is because it looks kinda like the WundeWaffe DG-2 from CoD Zombies?
If he has this lmtd blaster does that mean he's gonna review the nerf gjallerhorn when it comes out?
nice
A review on a Tuesday?
Nice
