as a kid I did found the theme of OOT store in an audio publicity on a plaza, I only had 1 younger cousin to talk about it though she wasn't as passionate as me in the game so she didn't reacted like me :'/ but indeed it was gold♥ another time was in a store on the CD's section there was the rythm of Gerudo fortress theme, sadly it was accompannied by an Awful music with horrible singing it was disgusting hearing how they violated such a masterpiece with garbage >_>

I assume the part that your talking about is the part at 0:51 before the famous "fire temple" part of the chant plays. If so, then that part was not in the fire temple. Neither was the vocals at 0:28
Well of course, it's a racing game so the music need to be upbeat. Would make no sense to have this kind of music in the Fire Temple. I still think the Fire Temple's chants are more mysterious and creepy.
@@M5M4_hdz v1.1 also has the chants as well. If you have a gold cartridge it's either 1.0 or 1.1. But some grey cartridges are also these versions. If you see a gold cartridge, you at least know it has the chants (unless it's PAL version which can be any color, but is always v1.2). I suppose that only increases its collector value. Obtaining the ROMs off the internet, IIRC you can easily find the desired version for emulation if you know where to look as the ROMs tend to be labelled with the version number. I for one own a v1.1 grey cartridge. Not the best version for those who like to exploit glitches (v1.0 has the easiest version of the Swordless Link glitch, which was patched out in 1.1 -- but there are multiple ways to trigger it) but still good.
See, this is what I loved about the game (even if it is a guilty pleasure): turning the world into a racetrack across cultures. And you get to dominate every single one. Not necessarily for your culture (though you have your pick), but for yourself.
This song was the reason I would play this game! I use to rent zelda ocarina.... with this chant too but when I bought the game it didn't have anymore which really gave the fire temple another vibe less scary

Looks like Nintendo quickly changed it with the purpose of avoiding controversy. EDIT: Looking at it now, Nintendo didn't allow religious content in their games. When they learned what that sample indicated, they had to swap it out.

Or is it something more complicated, possibly a tradition/rule that is contested or not universally followed? Some considers all kinds of music to be haram, some only if it's a woman that sings a song. So you might be right, but it's almost impossible to know what Islam thinks as a whole.
They removed it in Ocarina cause it had the word "Allah", which means God. Nintendo doesn't want the games they made to have religious things into them.

Crusn' Exotica was also never released for some reaosn though, maybe USA also didn't sell well so they didn't mess with the rest. They could have just removed or disabled this song if they released this, they apparently weren't opposed to changes to the original games as Jynx's skin color was changed in Polemon Snap, Zelda 2 also had a strobe effect removed to prevent sezirues. Those are Nintendo games though so maybe they made an exception for their own stuff.
I still remember playing this music on a bluetooth box outside on a summer day picking apples with a friend, not knowing it was offensive since i was a kid. Thank god an islamic person didn't walk by or I would have been dead...

It seems tough since the Crusin' games were all set in real life locations. Any stages added might just look like nods to real world locations, but if you add some cruisin' style music, with some hot cars driving through, it could work. I think Smash bros used to have a map like that with cars racing through it already.

the sound being used is so different in vibe and pitch for each track that it would be nearly impossible to find out.
