I've got to give props for including pokepark, even though its been years my brain somehow remembered the song and its such an unknown and underrated series, was my favorite on the wii as a kid

I don't really have the proper words to describe what I want to, but I feel completely spoilt by this.
The track selection is superb and all work well to compliment each other, remaining in that sweet spot between catchy melodies and straight ambience. All just hovering just above the sound of beating rain and rushing water, complete with an appropriately homely and rainy image (alongside what just happens to be my favourite video game character).

By looking to the picture, I thought he's annoyed to (protect the flower maybe?), so I go full screen, and I was wrong.
He's smiling, I forgot he's Sonic the Hedgehog, who will protect anyone than his goal and himself, and always see the silver lining of it all, even so small like that flower.
After this thought of myself, my respect for Sonic as the character is even higher and it's inspire me to grab one of those act. Thank you so much to whoever draw this and the music just completed this.

I'll try to tell it like we're in person. In a cave among friends during a rain to pass the time.
You ready? Here we go.
This story, if told well enough, will not only make it relatable to anyone here, but I'm pretty sure it's the EXACT reason WHY we're all here in the first place. More or less.
You see, recently I was dealing with the worst end of a burnout cycle recently.
For about maybe 4 weeks on end, I was not as productive as I wanted myself to be.
I work nights, but I'm allowed to draw and make stuff while I work, but my job also has a lot of red tape regarding well-being and caregiving.
Without going into too much detail, I'll just say I look after kids who were picked up by social workers.
These kids have had the cops called on them. So there's that.
So, naturally, I was at my wit's end.
I prided myself in how well I could put together an art piece, and how I always strived to in some way or another, embed a measure of meaning into each one.
There was one in particular piece I've wanted to do for years. It was some Fire Emblem Fanart. I've mainly been working on my own Original Graphic Novel series lately, but this was special too.
It was from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Specifically, the support scenarios with Lon'Qu and Panne. Their romance, and how the scenes took place filled my head with artistic direction.
But like a lot of people, it's hard to do that when you're in a burnout cycle, and for me specifically because, well, I _technically_ have all the time in the world! I shouldn't have any right to complain.
Well, my negative feelings and thoughts weren't gonna let up that easily. And for awhile, I believed that a break would do me some good. I went straight to gaming and did other hobbies I enjoyed.
But Unfortunatley, it didn't feel like I was right. I was feeling guilty for not working at all.
Then, on my day off about over a week ago, it happened.
Without thinking, ignoring my shame, ignoring burned-out mind, I aggressively started. It sucked at first. I hated it. I was so angry at myself and my problems, my lack of skill, the fact that people younger than me had accomplished more and got more recognition for doing the bare minimum, and here I was, complaining to myself that I failed to even get started.
But, that's how it goes. Our greatest triumphs are just positive memories where we cut the bad parts out. That's not a bad thing. It just proves that everything in life is temporary. Especially the bad times.
And the hook to this, is that THIS very video we're listening to, helped calm my emotions. Without realizing, I had pushed the proverbial snowball up the hill, and now it went downhill. Not only picking up speed, but it was getting bigger, too.
I completed the digital painting. And now it stands as one of my personal favorite memories and accomplishments. The Irony that Lon'Qu's theme plays at 42:57 is not lost on me.
I've listened to this video before, at first I didn't think it was out of the ordinary. I think it always was, because of the RIGHT choices of music used. (Which in turn, shows how the uploader is a true gamer who has a diverse knowledgebase of all of these treasures that affected us).
But now it is more special to me personally because of that memory.
Moral of the story? Music like this has an effect on people like us. The sound of Rain can be music, too. Yes, it can be hard to get started, but the greatest struggle can show the greatest story. In this case, we all look for things like this because we're creators and dedicated people at heart.
We know how to make these lives count.
So keep up the good work, all of you.

I def relate to that feeling of burnout and epically the feeling of "I have all this free time why haven't I done more". Creative burnout is real

It’s not minimal, yeah it’s not as nostalgic because it’s new, and certain charms are lost, but it’s still great, and not minimal at all
