Great to see you Mary. Every time I hear hear this song there is a tear in my eye. It has been a long time since The Punch Bowl in the Bronx. All my best wishes to you. If ever in Los Angeles please let me know.

Mary, I've only now seen this video as I thought it was due to go up in connection with the concert this weekend which I'm really looking forward to.I know from talking with you recently how much you have been through since Feb and as Beth says, this performance is a big deal and took a lot to do so THANK YOU for doing it, it's so so great to hear your incredible voice and to see you singing again.
I know you will go from strength to strength now that you're on the mend Mary and that's a testament to your strength of will and tenacity and it's also in no small way due to you and Beth's incredible love and support for each other and THANK YOU Beth for your courage, bravery, empathy and dedication to those struggling in hospital to survive this nightmare pandemic.
You're both amazing and I pray for your safety and well being and see you in New York when she comes roaring back and when we can sing together to celebrate all that life has to offer. :)Xo -Dave

This was her FIRST time singing since being in hospital the end of Feb. She has lost all her guitar playing callouses, and only had the energy to pick up the guitar a few times last wk & play for a few mins.
So - this is a big deal for Mary to have gotten through, on so many levels 💕
Thanks pet, I hope to be home again one of these days/wks/months 😔💕😘

Pat Quealey how are ya? Long time no hear and delighted to hear from you! I heard it first in the Village when Danny Hannon the writer sang it there. I cried. It took a while for me to learn it because I kept breaking down in the middle of it! Tune in tomorrow May 23rd at 7pm for the 70th Birthday Tribute to.
Martin McGuinness at 7pm. I made another recording for it. Take good care. Slainte!
