The first time I saw a real human skeleton I felt a very peculiar sadness and shock inside of myself. It wasn't a reaction to the bones themselves, but to what had once covered them; the strength, beauty, and complexity they had once supported. An entire world had once rested in that skull. How much love, pain, happiness and grief had that frame lived underneath?
As an artist sometimes you write about presence, and other times, absence. You use lyrics and music to run your finger around the shape left by something lost. This EP is negative space. It's the frame supporting something that should be there, but simply isn't. A harsh reminder of what once was; of an unchangeable breach in the order of things. Biting, but necessary.
This is my sackcloth and ashes. This is my 7 stages all wrapped up into one. I didn't want to put most of these songs out. They all feel excruciatingly vulnerable. However, I decided I'd rather end my life pinned down, splayed out on a dissecting table than be stored away in formaldehyde, buried with my secrets.
So here I am. Here's the knife. Be gentle with me, please.

DUDE I cannot describe what your music makes me feel. It's like my brain being taken on a journey up and down through a billion universes, exploring every emotion I've ever felt at the same time all while being taken apart in a thousand pieces and then being put together again in a different, weird, yet fascinating new way. It's not knowing where up and down is but knowing that it doesn't matter anyways because what I'm feeling goes way beyond all that is physically real. Like, "I might as well just fly away, because who cares about gravity if every other physical law has already been broken?" Seriously, I needed this song in my life. Thank you.

It never fails that I listen to Crywolf and I feel a little closer to myself.. my energy.. my existence.. and reminded of the fragile nature of humanity. Thank you for sharing what is raw and beautiful in the most delicate yet powerful way possible. I have huge admiration and adoration for you.
Every time I hear a new Crywolf song my heartbeat jumps and my skin crawls and it is the most amazing feeling on earth.
Please never stop doing music. The beauty and imagery you display with each song is like lavishing within an art gallery with nothing but priceless work around you.
It's such an honour that you have decided to be vulnerable with the rest of the world, and open yourself up... being vulnerable is one of the most difficult and terrifying things... but being vulnerable also generally creates the best moments.

I love music specially yours, I listen to it whenever I get the chance like in long car rides or even to a store. I have come to the realization that every song has its own story to tell even if it’s the same topic, like a story. The song is the book and the album is the series. Your music gives me this certain aura that I look for in things and it’s best when I listen at night. I just listened to these for the first time even if I’m a year late I still love these songs with all may heart. I click on one of your sings and listen to the first 5 seconds of it and automatically fall in love with them. I read the description before listening to your songs and when I finished the description I focused of the words and the intensity of the music. All the songs related to each other, the description, and what you felt. I can’t explain how much I love your songs and how you connect them to the way you feel. That’s how I feel artists should be but not all of them are. They write about sex and shit bc that’s what people listen these days but not you. You write about what you want and work a lot harder than those people. I'm not going to lie when this song hits home. I'm very much back and forth in a toxic relationship and this song is exactly what it feels like.The longing and then the opening up again. The man I'm in love with suffers from clinical depression and his low self esteem is a bad mixture. He's been going to therapy an is on meds and seeing Doctors for it and he constantly feels like he's not making progress. I try so hard to be there and be supportive but he constantly pushes me away and then the longing and the missing gets the better of us.
