Thanks Norie. Just saw this video clip. This must have been the concert at The Manila Hotel. I was in nearly all their concerts at The Araneta Coliseum.
Back in 1968/69, I was stationed in South Vietnam, I was near the DMZ and I was told the Cascades was going to perform, a temporary platform was built, but somehow I have never heard about it or seen it. I still have their album after all these years.

He still can sing and still good at it, but he doesn't sound anymore like that of the original, when he was in his 20's. No matter how many times I try to listen his every song here and compare it with the originals, I can't even tell he's the same guy singing ('though I know he's the same guy). I get it, he just got old.. and so his voice. I've heard some people said that he still sounds the same, but for me, I don't think so. it's far from the angelic voice he once had. But again, don't take me wrong, he is still a good singer and still sings well for his age, unlike some other classic singers I know, which they struggle so hard trying to sing like they used to many years ago, and it's just embarrassing- at some point they should just learn when to stop and live their lives, enjoying their pensions or royalties; they already had their glorious days and at least their songs are still circulating for there are still many people who love listening to classic songs.
Wow. Superb. The Cascades' Listen to the Rhythm of the Falling Rain was the first record I ever heard and is still my favourite song. LOVE this group.

Ohhhh.....i still remember my teenage years with this group "THE CASCADES" REALLY THERE ARE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SINGERS" of the time.regards.
