Yeah, that’s one of the many many amazing things you can say about Foreman.
It’s crazy because he was fighting a generation or two before the Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis era. As a matter of fact Lennox Lewis is still holding up as far as his speech and mental health. But it’s almost guaranteed that all the fighters who fought Foreman got brain damage in one form or another.😱

Foreman was 42 years old and Holyfield 28 - his absolute prime. Amazing and a testimony to how great Foreman was to go toe to toe against one of the best boxers ever, in his prime while at age 42. Then 3 years later he came back and beat Michael Moorer at age 45 to be the oldest champion ever. Wow.

George is the bomb ... If Foreman was in his prime, Holyfield wouldn't have made it out of the first round and Holyfield was a great boxer. There is no denying Holyfield's skill and ability as a fighter but Big George was just the better fighter.
Foreman has to be credited as being one of the greatest of all time ... George was well past his prime and he was a force to be reckoned with even in his late 40's. He was able to control and dominate the best fighters of our day and they were in their prime ... Respect for Big George ... Love him even more and you can really appreciate how amazing Ally, Frazier and Foreman were. Without a doubt, they were the greatest boxers of the 20'th century.
Glad Big George regained and retired with the Heavy Weight Title ... He earned it!

An older holyfield beat Tyson but Tyson never wanted to face holyfield when they were both in their prime because Tyson and his trainers knew holyfield wasn't you're ordinary fighter and had a chin and can go the distance. All 3 fighters are legendary in their own right but u gotta give George foreman his props for still giving an amazing performance at that age. Not many fighters can fight at that level at his age especially the heavyweight division.
