  • Let's say you decide you want a KZ earphone. And let's say you're certain you want one with 4x BAs and 1x dynamic driver. You still haven't narrowed your choices: The ZS10 Pro is among three released in the past 6 months. So how's this latest KZ 10-driver earphone compare to the CCA C10 and the KZ ZS7? Let's unbox the newest KZ and find out.

      @@Weareonenation303 I forgot to mention, I also have a pair of blue KZ AS10 IEM's. To me, they are not quite as comfortable to wear, but they are not so uncomfortable that I can't wear them all day., which I often do while listening to audio books. They may slightly exceed the incredible sound stage of the ZS 10 Pro, but they are 20 dollars more. Instead of a dynamic driver for the base, they use a large balanced armature. The base may be slightly cleaner, but nowhere, IMHO, an extra $20.00's worth. My ears, which are more of an audiophile than my wallet, really can't discern much more than a very slight improvement over the ZS10 Pro, but the AS10 feels more bulky and not as comfortable to wear. So when it becomes time to replace them, I will either purchase another pair of ZS10 Pro or the new ZS10 Pro X. I am glad that I bought the AS10 pair, because for the first time, it showed me that a bass BA can deliver the same base as a well designed 10mm DD. But it may take a bulkier shell to do so. Also, the stem on them is molded into the shell, so you don't have to worry about the stem working it's way out, which has happened on 1 pair of ZST's. I don't know if the dog ate it, but I never found the stem or the eaubud attached to it, so I couldn't glue it back in.

    I honest think these sound nearly on par with the Moondrop Aria's (I got both at the same time) AFTER EQ. The ZS10 pros do sound a little muddier at a higher volume (which I personally find uncomfortable after a while) and I'm aware about the whole BA scandal but honestly for $50 these IEMs are solid and will make most people quite happy. In a blind test, most people would be hard pressed to not like these. Just ordered the Blessing 2 for more a more technical sound so I'm pretty hyped!

      I guess I am strong minority. I love pronounced highs for technical cymbal play (black metal, doom sludge, ambient music listener) and do not need overbassed sound. I would prefer flat sound overall (as the music was done, right). I was looking on iBasso IT01 but there seems to be better deals. Can anyone compare KZ ZS 06 or ZS10 vs Tin Audio T2 ? I was suggested rather go T2 for better rich sound and better durability, but not sure if the price difference is really worthy. I would be coming from Sennheiser CX 300 (the first original iteration. Looking for the even bang for the buck sound/quality wise? Thanks all for suggestions. Nice review! I have had my ZS10 PRO for a week now, and I'm totally loving it. Personally, I think the bass is just enough (especially with foam tips) and the foamies also help with the treble, although even with the stock preinstalled silicon tips I don't have any issues with the treble. I'm astounded by how good this set sounds for only $50. Not sure how you got that old cable though...mine shipped with the preformed earhooks and the type C bud connectors. The cable is OK in that it works and is soft enough to not remain coiled and janky, but it's pretty thin and the lack of a chin cinch is a bit of a dealbreaker for me. I have already upgraded the cable to a nice JCally 8 core with balanced connector so I'm all good now.😋

      I'm told consistently elsewhere that the KZ ZS10 Pro is hands down the best bang for the buck and most pleasing to the most people overall IEMs in this price range. Most folks strongly recommend these over the AS10s but quickly follow that up to say that if you can afford both, there's arguments to be made for having both.
      How much of that is IEM Acquisition Disorder speaking, I'm unsure.

    these have slightly shorter nozzles, may fit some ears better than the zsn pros. These have more vent ports on the faceplate, if you are on the bus you would like the zsn pros better.
    They are similar except the zs10 pros have leaner and more detailed mids.
    They are tonally perfect but still the sound stage is non existent for front and back distancing.
    Slightly more highs than neutral IMO, but it give the pleasant brain tingles whenever you hear the hi-hats and cymbals. Excellent for running with, because of the sound sig, give you the energy

      @@SuperReview The only time I use my KZ's over my UE's is when I'm going to a friends house to jam and I don't want to stress about accidentally dropping or damaging my UE's. My custom UE monitors are seriously one of my favorite possessions. I have a lil live in ear monitor rig setup all nice and neat at my house, and I play guitar and sing! I am a philosophy major and last semester I took a vocal instruction class as one of my electives to help my voice improve and I gotta say my overall ear with respect to frequencies improved as well!
      I think for the money, the KZ's are really sweet but compared to the UE's it's like the KZ's are a $499 PA system suitable for a garage type band and the UE's are like a big music venue sound system in your ears. They just sound HUGE! I hope to one day save up and purchase the UE-18's or perhaps the JH Audio Roxannes.
      You did a fantastic job on this video with your dialog and description, man! You're very skilled at communicating, which is so important these days. I posted a little review/comparison video of my KZ's/UE-5's and recently I was contacted by either KZ or CCA through Instagram and they sent me the ZSN Pro's & the CCA C10's for free as long as I post a review/comparison video of them. I was pretty stoked about that and I've been working on the video but I always screw up the dialog, lol. I'll get it here soon though!

    How is the zs10 pro compared to the as10?

    • @Assimilator702
      @Assimilator702 Před 5 lety +11

      Clint Santos The major difference is the fit on the ZS10 PRO is PERFECT for me and I would bet a good fit for most ears. AS10 can feel a bit bulky. ZS10 PRO is a bit sharper and quicker sounding. Even though the AS10 has boosted midbass and relaxed treble it sounds fairly balanced to me. Nothing sounds bad on it and I’m never wanting more bass. Vocals don’t sounds recessed.....to my ear. Treble is detailed and never splashy. The ZS10 PRO is not as refined but it’s a very dynamic earphone that has a brighter sound signature but never sibilant. For the $37 they sell for on sale they are a must have for anyone. One thing to note.....the ZSN , ZSN PRO and CCA CA4 are all very close sounding to the ZS10 PRO without the brighter top end. And the CCA C10 is a warmer tuning of the ZS10 PRO sound signature. They’re all worth owning unless you have no budget. Then just pick one and be happy. I own them all and enjoy them right along side some $1000 headphones. FYI they are suppose to ship with the new style cable but mine came with the style in this video. If you buy them off Amazon simply send Linsoul an email and ask Lily or Rae for the correct cable. You’ll have it in 11 to 12 days.

      @Assimilator702 Před 5 lety +3

      Mohd Syahiran ZSN PRO and ZS10 PRO are VERY SIMILAR. The major difference is the ZS10 PRO has a bit wider soundstage and is a bit brighter in the upper audible range of treble. A bit more sizzle where the ZSN PRO has a weighty meaty treble. It comes across with well recorded percussion particularly with hihat cymbals. I use the newest Gojira release Magma as it has very well recorded drums. Due to the low price get the ZSN PRO. After that you’ll be curious and more than likely grab a ZS10 PRO. I bought them all and they’re all worth owning. Just got a second pair of CCA C10 And ZSN since they’re so cheap but SOOO GOOD. Especially with Metal and bass heavy electronic music.
