This is one of my favorite house mixes on CZcams - easily top 5, amongst too many to bother counting. I wasn't into house music (or even born quite yet) during this era, but I've fallen in love with it. I just keep getting firmly reminded that Italy is a country of quality, whether it be music, food, alcohol, or otherwise.
I am so grateful for each and everyone of you who enjoys this mix, I am truly humbled to see so many views, I am sorry if I haven't managed to comment or react to every comment but I really am so grateful. Don Carlos ‘Alone’ is perfection. The moment when the percussion comes in is THE moment. My favourite dance track of all time. If I heard this in a club esp in Italy etc I’d be paralysed in Ecstacy
You don’t need to mix this style .. it flows itself … precision is less important when the music speaks … dope selection … Italy house is What ? It’s the Mediterranean vibe got labelled italo …you remember Spanish house ? No , but it was there

I've got to say, I'm 19 years old, and italo house music by far the greatest genre I've listened to. My dad and my uncle both used to mix vinyl records and I was checking out their collection, by there's some absolute gems in there from 88-94.. I've been djing for about 5 years now and I always resort to italo house because it fills me with good nostalgic feelings. I wish I could've experienced what my dad and uncle did back then when this material was fresh from the press!
Fresher than a bag of frozen peas....93 hardcore jungle and drum and bass hit the spot with me... started out with house and garage music then moved to the break beat... totally different experience... but house music will never die... keep mixing my friend 👍

One of the best house genre for me, I’m from the year 1989 and definitely this sound takes me back to that time. Always loved my early childhood years, because there was no internet for example. Great tracks, thanks for sharing 🎶
All jokes aside, these songs make me feel like im in a fever dream adventure especially Antares or Audio Trip. These songs are just extremely nostalgic.
I wouldn’t say it’s true house but it’s definitely something else. A lot of elements of progressive trance blended in. You have to remember true house is like deep house tracks that were coming out of Detroit and Chicago at this time.
I Am Of Italian decent, and while this is OK nothing beats where I grew up in Chicago with the Hot mix five. They spun real House from here along with my small time at spinning myself while in college. Chicago still rules!
The music in this mix is heavily influenced by Chicago / Detroit. I love Detroit techno and whilst there are differences, a 808 drum machine and lush synths are going to overlap in style and that is the beauty of this special time in music history, I think that when one scene influences another its not about which is best, its about which tunes are made with love and passion of which these are, If there are any tunes you think I should include in Part 2 I would love to hear suggestions.
