#watchitplayed #boardgames #tutorial - Hry
I like to imagine that the core concept for this game was "there's gonna be a mini of a cat riding a Roomba... We'll figure the rest out later..."
yet another great tutorial, you are the bar setter as far as this style of teaching goes. I truly enjoy watching and learning from you, Thank you for all of your efforts.
So very kind of you to say John!
What a cute game! But more complex then it seems. It's like a more accessible version of mechs vs minions. Plus I love the different types of goals, the food preparation one seems especially interesting. Thanks for the great video as always Rodney!
Yet a more complex version of Robot Turtles. Kind of the middle of those two paths.
Ah, I had already said no more games for the year, but in comes Rodney to wreck that... my wallet hates you Rodney. With a passion.
My sincere condolences :)
Feels like a cooperative Robo Rally. But with less lasers. Seems pretty neat :)
This game has more than meets the eye! Definitely QUIRKY! Thanks for another awesome walkthrough Rodney!
You're very welcome jean!
review; excellent game. My 9-year-old will be thrilled! (I'm a software developer, so he's excited by programming although he hasn't done any at this point.)
This is a great way to teach some of those concepts (often to unexpected results!)
Rodney, when you put the game back on the shelf at the end of the video, I get a serious Mister Rogers vibe.
I couldn't ask for a better comparison to emulate!
What an electrifying game! Currently, I’ve definitely got a positive view of it! Wire the robots so cute!?
Oh my!
Ohm my, they sure are!
Patrick Towey Getting amped up for something, AC? (I see)
Haha the younger crowd will most likely go for this one, it's just too damn CUTE! I'm a little worried about the replay value of this though, once all the scenarios are done. Still, looks like a decent amount of fun, without being too simplistic. Awesome job Rodney. :D
Thank you Steve!
I don’t think the replay value is an issue; considering the randomness, and how you don’t have a clue what anyone else is doing, craziness is bound to ensure!
We played this and like to reveal the cards one at a time for a little more suspense haha! :D
It's like a mix of Magic Maze and (mostly) Robo Rally, but done cute and less annoying ;-)
Kim’s of like The Mind in that you don’t know how the other player is going to do, and you cannot exactly work together on strategy! The very definition of Quirky! Looks fun! Not sure it will make our library, bit it looks like a great family game! Nice job. I am guessing 3 takes on the flip.....😭😭😭
Cute and funny. I love it :-)
Glad you enjoyed checking it out!
Cute game
Am I literally the first to comment?! Wow. Well anyway, another great video. I always try to use your teaching skills when I find myself having to explain to my family and friends how to play a game. Thanks for your work!
You're very welcome Adam - glad you find these helpful!
@@WatchItPlayed Holy Cow you guys responded!! Your videos are what got me into board games. I can't even remember how I stumbled on them but I do remember you had about 15k subscribers at the time. I've watched your Mice and Mystics play through probably half a dozen times learning how to play it. We now have regular family game nights and I'm slowly getting my board game collection together. Oh one last thing, we just got our basement done and I showed our contractor your videos and said "I want those book shelves". Thanks for everything you do. You guys deserve all the success!!
@@AdamKillianEngineer I hope you enjoy the new shelves - thanks for the kind words :)
This game looks like fun! Curious if you know how many different scenarios there are? Thanks (:
Twenty one.
Most would say quirky.....id say creative/unique but cute concept
I don't understand. Is there any strategy? Are all players on the same team, even though they can't communicate or strategize? It seems super random.
I would say so, for sure - BUT, are their random elements? Certainly. And is there enough strategy for what you're looking for? That's harder to say.
This just reminds me of Karel the Robot, a simple introduction to computer programming that was taught back in the day (though which day, I'm not saying). Karel could only do a few commands and if you did them wrong, hilarity (or a non-passing grade) ensued. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karel_(programming_language)
"The More You Know"
This game looks fun! I think me and my wife will like this.
Thanks for checking it out!
If you’ve got kids, bring them in too!
So, Mechs vs Minions Lite Edition
There are some similarities!
No pause after the "Thanks... for watching". Feel traumatized.
Can't let you take it for granted ;)
Why does my scenario book look nothing like this? I got 10 scenarios and only 2 characters
Sounds like you have the other version of Quirky Circuits that was released later.
I already wanna hit someone for playing a turn card... ik it’s important but not knowing where they will turn sounds hilariously infuriating XD
