Kai and Mihawk held a audition for the backup dancers, he wanted his backup dancer to keep with himself that's why they are good. Kai has been dancing since he was 6, he is trained ballet and jazz.
This is dope! This process is normally used to find dancers that match similar energies and accents with the artists. The synchronization is insane
Choreographer is Mihawk and dancers are chosen by Kai and Mihawk over 2 months audition. Kai makes the dance look easy. Don't know why people compare him with Taemin. Kai learn jazz and ballet since he was 8 so he has developed his own style.
Yes and forever we cant compare them cause they have different style and they are on another level for a dancer. They the same level with the different style

Comparison isn't always a bad thing. Taemin and Kai both show very strong showmanship qualities thats why. They're compared because they're both great artists under sm.

@@sodabella You misunderstood the concept. You can still respect and love both artists and compare why they're both great in their own way. Comparing doesn't always have to mean that one is "better" than the other.
For example, Bruno Mars and Beyonce are always compared when it comes to their performances, but one isn't technically a "better" artist. One is an apple and one is an orange. Just like how Taemin is an apple and Kai is an orange. They're both fruit, but the taste is completely different. Does that make sense now?

Exactly! Loved this process. I think more artists should do this often. There are times when artists and backup dancers don't match despite being talented in their own way.

I love how he purposely made the choreo more complex than normal kpop choreos, and made sure everyone in it execute to their own level. I mean he took his sweet time to choose his dancers, he gotta raise the bar

Kai and Taemin are actually best friends for a very long time, their friendship starts during their middle school,if I’m not mistaken. they got a lot of similarities and sometimes called as the TWINS. Although they got a lot of similarities, both still have something which made them unique and stand out in their very own good way 🙂. I stan the Legends, I stan both taemin and kai. I hope to see more reaction to Kai and taemin solo and SuperM(their group together)..And of course EXO and Shinee their OG group.

kai is the most versatile dancer in kpop watching his Dance Practice for Reason after this blows my mind
So the choreo was mostly kai and mihawk's same goes for the rest of the album. Kai got a chance to really show off what he is made of and I am so proud of him.
I was waiting for someone to say this dance practice is another level apart because of how elite the backup dancers are as well as kai. I have never seen a group with better synergy than this one here. He wasn't outshined because this is kai we are talking about but put that group of dancers with someone else and it may have been a different story, that''s just how excellent the dynamics in that room were.

I think the cut (at the end) is to represent his power in exo concept which is teleportation. Because he teleported in his mv too. But please correct me if i'm wrong.
The cut is there because he "messed up" the ending and since 99% of the choreo was perfect, it would have been unfair to make them all repeat it just because of a little mistake. I don't think it was the kind of mistake we'd notice a lot (kinda like what happened in the concert?), but once Kai feels that it's not 120% (what he usually gives for his performances), he loses it.
