The main character in BLAME! is a police officer who becomes humanity's last hope to stop the City from being segregational structure that only allows humans with WebTerminalConnector implant. Killy his name, he travel in the City to find humans with those implants and stop the madness of SafeGuard.
ok, f%ck it, just read, it's intersting, autor is Tsutomi Nihei, he has BLAME! and other mangas in BLAME!'s universe. You will see: giant structures with and without meaning, weapons that can brake through 500km and destroy everything in the way, atmosphere of a truly "no way out" world withoute hope.
