One thing is that with Voldemort alive for 10 extra years there would probably be a TON of spells between the death of the Potters and the Tri-Wizard tournament. How long would it take for his parents to appear, lol!
came to the comments to say basically the same thing 😂
I thought the same thing lol
My question is: how would Voldemort know that he needs to take Harry's blood? He finds that out because Quirrell can't touch him in year 1. In this scenario, there's no cause for Voldemort to find out that information.
Exactly what inwas thinking! Still... Unless voldy killed someone else at the camp his soul wouldn't tear and therefore no harry horocrux
Because he can't kill him! He understands that he has sacrificial protection and he wants to be able to kill him after he revivs himself.
Considering how quickly Diary!Riddle figured it out, I imagine Voldemort could too with extra heads bouncing off of him compared to his lone self in canon
Does Harry become a Horcrux because the protective spell makes the curse backfire and it splits Voldemort’s soul in half? I need the specific theory about how Harry becomes a Horcrux because if they’re difficult to make how did it happen from a backfired killing curse
I'm suprised you have not mentioned a single thing about Sirius Black in these first two parts. Did he go to Azkaban? Is he still there if he got sent there in the first place? Does he escape if he was sent there? Does he get to spend more time with Harry? We have to know what happened to Harry's Godfather!
Exactly my question also!
no don't mention sirius, once they mention him they'll just kill him off like they always do, I can't go through that again :,(
I think he would be free. Without Voldemort's fall, even though Sirius knows Peter was the traitor, he oculdn't get to him. Peter would be a wanted man, as Sirius would certainly expose him, but he would simply hide with the other Death Eaters. Sirius could be a part of Harry's life (much to Dumbledore's dismay), but couldn't raise him.
@leventebardossy5962 Sirius didn't go after Peter because Voldemort fell. He went after him because James and Lily were killed. And since Sirius was still thought to be the secret keeper, he'd still get blamed for Voldemort finding the Potters. The Potters still die in this "timeline", so Sirius still goes after Peter and still ends up in Azkaban.
I would love for you guys to do "What if Harry Potter was Harriet Potter" basically what if Harry was born a girl and not just a girl but a girl who looked just like Lilly. How would that affect how Petunia treated her? We know deep down she grieved her sister. Also how would Snape treat her? He could hate Harry freely because he looked just like James, but I highly doubt he could treat someone who looked exactly like Lily so poorly. Would he instead try to mentor her? Teach her everything he knows about potions and the dark arts to protect her? Would he be so willing to follow Dumbledore's plan knowing that Harriet had to die? Or would he do everything in his power to save her? Or maybe Dumbledore wouldn't tell Snape this critical bit of knowledge and would have to think of another way to get the information to Harriet. How would if affect the Golden Trio's dynamic. Would it change who becomes friends? Would it add to the group. Perhaps Parvati is her friend? There is a lot to explore there and I'd love to see you guys delve into it.
Edit - Someone mentioned a better name would be "Heather" to keep with the flower theme and I like that idea even better! Make it happen Carlin Bros!
Edit2: people have rightly mentioned that the prophecy uses male pronouns and thus if Harry was a girl, she couldn't be the chosen one. I get that BUT I'd still like a female Harry (Heather) to be the chosen one for this what if. Even Dumbledore has said that prophecy's aren't always accurate and that some aren't even fulfilled. So maybe because Snape only heard part of it, Voldemort still goes after the Potter's child. Or just make the what if scenario include a change in the prophecy to be gender ambiguous. It's a stretch, but a lot of these what ifs are a stretch. Just fun to imagine.
love this idea! they briefly talked about how Snape would treat Harry if he (she, in your case) looked like Lily instead of James on Through the Griffin Door, their HP podcast. I hope they explore it!!
This is a solid idea. Hope they see it
I prefer Heather for Harry's genderbent names just because it sticks with the flower name theme.
I love this idea, this and "What if Dudley was a Wizard"
In fact "What if Dudley was a was a wizard" Is my top wanted what if, after "What if Harry was a slytherin"
However, since they explored that what if, Dudley is the one I want.
Mudbloods often have some magic background, such as a squib or even just an ancestor who was magical. Meaning that Dudley, (Being Lilly's nephew) could very well be a wizard since they would share a common ancestor.
Perfect@@violacola
I'm curious why Lily didn't pull the cloak over herself and baby Harry. Since Harry would be the master then, the cloak would protect him fully (and his mother who holds him), keeping them both from being found. With the Potters dead/missing, and the failure staying mostly quiet, wouldn't Voldemort turn his attention to the other possible child, Neville?
Like, imagine a Harry Potter series where Harry is raised by Lily and has the invisibility cloak, and Neville is marked as Voldemort's equal
Lily and James didn’t have the cloak at the time of their deaths. Dumbledore had asked James if he could borrow it to examine it, as he suspected it was one of the deathly hallows. This is the reason that Dumbledore is able to give it to Harry once he’s at Hogwarts.
I meant, if they're already exploring a scenario of the Potters having the invisibility cloak, why wouldn't Lily cover herself and Harry? (Etc, etc of my original post)
@carenza88 That's in canon, this comment is talking about in this What If - which as they said, all started with "What If James kept the cloak?" In the SCB version, Lily throws the cloak over Harry and still dies, but I agree with confusedninja that I can't fathom why Lily wouldn't hide with her infant son.
Just because Fleur asks Harry to the Yule Ball doesn't mean he'll be in the lake for the second task. I think it would still be Gabrielle. I mean, it's her sister over a boy she's been dating a month or two.
My exact thought. Was gonna say the same thing. Thank you for being first
Cedric and Krum rescued their dates of a couple months
I feel like it's not actually THE person you care about most in the world, see: Krum getting a girl he's been to one dance with over a friend or family member even if he does like her. The organisers would probably prefer the logistics of taking a student who's already there
@@Rezkeshdadesh They didn't have family who was already there.
@@MegaLokopo was Fleur's sister already there or did they have to go get her from France?
I think Moody would see with his eye that Harry is missing from the bottom of the lake. I mean, Barty Jr. told that he was looking at Harry during this task in the lake, so there could be even faster response I believe :)
Actually, he said, “you were so long in that lake Potter, I thought you’d drowned.” This implies he had no idea.
@@sabretoothtiger4314 My bad! In that few paragraphs he said “I’ve been watching you”, it just merged into one. He said that he watched how Harry didn’t solve the puzzle and never asked Neville about the book, but not in the lake. Thanks for pointing this out! :)
u know I could see Fleur being rewarded second place in the second task due to the fact a) her kidnap target was legit kidnapped b) she WAS the first one to reach the kidnapped and c) she told the judges what had happened alerting Dumbledore to the return of Voldemort.
1. Harry was "the Boy who lived" in the original storyline as well, and I don't think that it being a more recent event or the scar being "more macho" would impact Fleurs feelings in that degree. Also Harry still wouldn't be as "handsome" as the guys Fleur otherwise is interested in at that point, and he'd still be 14, while she is at least 16, more likely 17. That alone makes it highly unlikely she'd be interested in him.
2. Why wouldn't any of the deatheaters be in Askaban in that timeline? After Voldi failed to find Harry as a baby and vanished, investigations could have been started, just as in the original timeline. Even if he told all his Deatheaters to go into hiding, waiting for the perfect timing, together with him at that time, surely people would be hunted and imprisoned after the failure at the quidditch world cup, just like in the original timeline.
1. In the original timeline, Harry being 'The Boy Who Lived' has been a thing for 13 years already and the world has kind of gotten used to him, plus we have little if any evidence that Voldemort ever really made it to mainland Europe, so Harry wouldn't have been as big a deal in France. In this new timeline Voldemort disappeared 13 years ago, returned dramatically at the QWC, and was publicly banished by Harry. He's a much more recent celebrity, so the buzz around him is a lot stronger, hence Fleur taking notice of him even if she doesn't appreciate it in the same way a UK resident would.
2. This is an excellent point, and one of my many issues with the way they've scripted out this scenario.
@@matthewpelletier6900 in this time line Voldemord wouldn't have made it to mainland Europe either. And how public he would have been defeated by Harry is also questionable, since I doubt he would have attacked him "on a big stage" but much rather with as few people looking as possible. Secrecy being highly appreciated by him and all that 😅
I would love to see what you guys make of the story if Ron and Ginny were twins....would Ginny still have a huge crush on Harry being unable to talk to him properly?....would Ginny still be the one to open the chamber of secrets?.....would Harry ask Ginny to go to the Yule Ball or would she go with Dean or Neville??? would Ginny join the Quidditch team earlier on? and how would Ginny´s and Ron´s relationship change being twins and the whole Weasley family dynamic now with 2 sets of twins?
*Yule, not Jule.
@@DarthSanguinereally????
Do you know what? That actually sounds like a story I'd read! I think you're on to something!
"Of course we know we are Gon and Rinny"
@@DarthSanguine ups....I knew it looked wrong 😅
I remember when the fifth book first came out and I became so utterly convinced that Harry and Luna would be a perfect pairing.
Exactly! Luna was the first character whose name was not a Chekhov's Gun.
I still think they would be amazing together. Draco+Ginny, Hermione+Ron, Luna+Harry ❤
Draco and Ginny would be an interesting pair, she is a pureblood but still a blood traitor so it would put Lucius's nickers in a twist.
@@rianahardin8473 Nice one!
@@rianahardin8473 They would be though! They're so fierce and their personalities are seriously the same! I absolutely ship Dinny! 💚❤
My only disagreement with this is that Voldemort took time to pull his spirit together, years if I’m recalling right. And there is no way he would have told the death eaters of a back-up plan.
100% agree. Voldemort doesn't think he can lose so he wouldn't have made a backup plan with anyone involved. Plus in the original story when he dies the death eaters scatter. Why would this time be any different? Sure Bellatrix would look for him but if Voldemort could manifest himself so quickly, why wouldn't he have gone straight to her in the first place? I'm pretty sure she only attacked the Longbottoms after his fall.
One thing is bothering me. Why would there be Prior Incantatum? I don't see any good reason Harry would have the twin wand. In the original one, he gets it because he had been mark by Voldemort. But this time around, he would have been chosen by his wand 3 years before his encounter with the Dark Lord..
Perhaps it is not a question of being Moldevort's horcrux, but of their fates being inextricably interlinked (as per the prophecy).
So the try-kill has no influence on them having twin cores.
I was thinking the same thing. Without their souls being linked, I'd have to imagine the wand would work the same as the sorting hat and make its choice based on Harry's characteristics. I can't imagine it would be able to know or understand the prophecy.
Also, if Harry isn't attacked as a child, maybe Neville could still be marked by Voldemort, so no reason for the twin core there.
Furthermore, I believe it's very unlikely that for 13 years Voldemort haven't killed anyone else, so the chances of Harry's parents appearing are also very low.
@@haniapopowska8966moldevmort 😂
I could see the case that Harry had to buy a new wand since it was stolen at the World Cup. He wouldn't have gotten it back.
The problem with this is we already discussed in a prev video how flamel was probably planning to destroy the stone in book 1 and Dumbledore just wanted to use it to get voldypants out of hiding.
In this case, the Stone would still be in Flamel's possession. Minor change, as it would be even easier to get it from him than from Gringotts. Of course, Nicolas and Perenelle Flamel are killed in this case, but they would eventually die anyway, just in a more... natural way, so to speak.
@@leventebardossy5962 No he's saying that the stone might have already been destroyed at this point
In this scenario, Voldemort is still in hiding around the same time. He's just not mist. Dumbledore might still want to keep the Stone for the usual reason.
To me the issue is that Dumbledore would very clearly know that the stone was a target, so if it hadn’t been destroyed already, Dumbledore would have at least protected it like he did in PS
@@btk72491that’s what I thought because in one of their previous videos they spoke on the fact that dumbledore put the stone in the mirror and no matter what voldemort did he would never be able to get out
I Cant Wait For Part 3
These are fun as they make one think about other possibilities.
That being said, The invisibility cloak doesn’t make you sound proof. In Book 3, Harry and Hermione hear their own footsteps from their past versions going to visit Hagrid. Also Filch and Mrs. Norris hear Harry walking under the cloak. I really like this theory but it kinda hinges on Voldemort not being able to find a crying baby Harry. Also, Tonks finds Harry under the cloak and a full body bind on the train.
They explained this in the first part. The cloak doesn't hide him from Tonks because he's on need of help,he doesn't need or want to hide
@@satsujin-shathewitchkingof6185 OK, I can get on board with the Tonks scenario in that there is no evidence to the contrary. But we have evidence that the cloak isn’t soundproof.
I mean, I guess we can make a case that Harry and Hermione heard Hermione and Ron’s footsteps (not Harry’s). Maybe Filch and Mrs. Norris have a special ability to hear Harry, but this seems like a lot of supposition.
Don’t misunderstand, I’m not hoping to disprove any theories, but sometimes the pieces don’t fit. If anyone has a better theory on how we bridge this, I’m all ears.
@@Zeke_O3773 Yeah, I can't see how baby harry could hide while crying. Unless Lilly cast a spell to silence and stop him moving, or maybe the cloak works differently on the true owner and special "features" for these kinds of situations. But what is stopping Moldyvort from just reaching into the babies crib?
@@We_know_somethings..... i didn’t think about “muffliato” but Lily would’ve needed her wand. Maybe she uses the cloak to hide herself and Harry until she can get her wand and portkey Harry out before trying to save James and fight off Voldy unsuccessfully?
Hey uh, James and Lily probably wouldn’t have come out of Priori Incatatum. That mechanic causes all spells done by the wand to be reversed. In the actual Book 4 this isn’t a big deal since Voldemort’s wand hasn’t been used much since he died the night he attacked Harry.
But here he’s presumably been using is wand liberally for about 12 years doing whatever Voldemort does on a day to day basis. Thus to get at James and Lily, Priori Incantatum would have to have gone through 12 years worth of spells.
Where is Part 3? I like this what if scenario.
After this what if series is over I think the next one you could do could be what if harry became an obscurius
YESSss
Please do this one!
Interesting to make Fleur more of a main character, and the love interest. If harry is taken, that means she actually cares for him, rather than just dating him for popularity, like she did with Roger Davies. Flower Pot all the way. Also, I think it would be interesting in part three to give Fleur another time to shine, maybe involving her signature sleeping spell she uses on the Dragon?
Wouldn't the mer people come to the surface and tell them Harry was gone before Fleur got there?
Would Harry have gotten the Phoenix core wand before his first year in this scenario-realizing he hadn’t been marked yet? I had assumed the wand chose Harry because he had the mark of the other phoenix wand’s master.
I was looking for this comment. I don't believe he would.
The wand knows Harry is the chosen one and that it needs to be his wand in order to fight Voldemort
What about Neville thoigh? Neither have been marked as equal so Neville could have gotten it
One more idea for a snowballing whatit: What if James didn't save Snape from Lupin (the Whumping Willow incident)?
Either he wasn't there when Sirius sent Snape into trouble, or he didn't stop it.
I see two main options here:
1. Smape dies. Syrius gets expelled, Remus leaves the school out of feeling guilty. Lily breaks up / doesn't get together with James (even if he wasn't there, his best friend effectively killed her friend, even if she didn't blame James, I don't see them together after that).
The Black family is all like "told you so!" (except Andromeda). Slughorn is sad.
We probably end up with "Neville was the chosen one" but w/o Harry. (And Voldy learns about the prophecy much later and more vaguely. But he must have had some spies.)
2. Snape barely survives, gets werewolfed. Sirius is expelled still, I think. Lupin... he might stay and feel obligated to help Snape all he can, and he feels immense guilt. Surprisingly, I can see those two eventually becoming friends in this scenario.
Snape is less atracted to being a Deatheater (they consider werewolves to be subhuman after all) and he might end up with Lily and with her good influence, a better person in the long run.
James is much quieter, more mature aftes his best friend got expelled for nearly killing another student with his prank. He leaves Snape alone.
But what with Voldemort and all that? I'd love to hear your reflections on this hypothetcal.
I have a probably-never-to-be-written alternate history where Lily and Snape have a son, Benignus (shortened to Ben), and Snape is the one to do the sacrifice, protecting pregnant Lily, so it's later unclear what magic is in Lily, what in their son. (IDK how Voldy got the prophecy, Petigrew maybe? It's always Pettigrew....)
Fleur and Harry is my second favorite ship and I’m glad it is getting some recognition
just one note, we're meant to believe he doesn't kill anyone in 13 years? even when laying low, how does someone like him get by without the occasional killing curse?
Or, really, using ANY spell with his wand. Priori Incantatum is more than just dark spells, it's every spell that is used by the wand in reverse order.
There's always the possibility that he's been using other wands for whatever reason, but yeah.
@@Dreadjaws Why would he use other wizard's wands, though? He only does so in Deathly Hollows to try to get around the twin core problem. He doesn't know about that issue until the duel in Goblet of Fire.
I kinda wish Dumbledore had grabbed Voldemort, pinned him to a tree, and then, with all his might, screamed “DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIYAHHHH!!!!”
Hey Brother! A few weeks ago I finally saw the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes in theaters and I thought it was great. I was glad to see the map although I didn’t think much of it until I saw your review. I looked it up and of course there is now an official canon map, compared to the current United States. My job for you, is to use geography and theories and stuff to find out once and for all when the Hunger Games take place. It may be tricky but the entire fandom is counting on you. And may the odds be ever in your favor!
I actually like one theory I read that said the Hunger Games is what could have happened if America had lost the Revolutionary War. So, if one accepts that as headcanon, the Hunger Games could take place in our present time, instead of sometime in the future.
@@kateworkman921 ah yes. So the technology and country map in ballad is possibly from the 1780s or 1790s
@@JustACactus616 Maybe? I guess it depends on how the British would have taken land. Or maybe the Americans who lost the war would have been driven further and further west, possibly having to make alliance with Native Americans, hoping other uprises could let them defeat the British, but they never succeed. Over the decades, the British settle in the Rocky Mountains because it's harder to attack there, and that becomes the Capitol, and the other districts are made up of Native Americans and their descendants, and the Americans and their descendants.
I don't know, it's just a theory I found interesting, even if the reality is it could never work.
@@kateworkman921 A STYLE THEORY
Cool story. Can't wait to see how this version plays out.
I still think Lilly would have used the cloak to take Harry and run. Maybe do that option at some point.
Also someone raised the idea of What if James hadn't been there when Voldamort attacked? Which is another idea I'd love to see explored.
I love regular What Ifs, but the series are definitely the best ones. I look forward to the continuation of yet another one.
I thought priori incantatum makes the most recent spells you did come out in order. So why would the spell be 'world cup avada' and then 'james and lily' right away? in your story voldemort was alive between killing james and lily until the world cup. he was in hiding, but surely he performed spells in the meantime? even just accio tv remote XD
Now I don't know if this is true but it could be he doesn't want to give any chance to trace him (not that I'm sure there is a trace on his wand)
Idea: What If Harry met Luna during Year 1?
Dumbledore would have known that they would try to kidnap Harry in the lake because he would still have Snape
Oooo...very good point.
Flowerpot! That's hilarious. I love it.❤
“In the woods Voldemort finishes monologuing” Awesome quote 😂
Underrated pairing! Thanks guys! You're the Best 😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉
Flarry!
You guys are simply just amazing storytellers!
In this the death eaters seem quite organised after Voldemort's downfall, and in proper communication with him. In the books he had no powers and had to flee to Albania (where he slowly reformed some small powers) and none of them had any idea what had happened to him (even ppl like Bellatrix and Crouch, which is is why they attacked the Longbottoms)
A few Crouch-related questions: Was Barty Crouch Junior caught after stealing Harry's wand? And, who was the Minister for Magic? My headcanon: up until the theft of Harry's wand, Crouch Senior was the Minister, and his son was a prominent figure in the Ministry (a combination of nepotism with the fact that he really is a very capable wizard). If he was caught, that would probably force his father to resign; if he was not caught, then his father might still be Minister, and he might still be a senior official
What if idea: what if Barty Crouch Junior hadn’t been kissed by a Dementer at the end of goblet of fire?
Caught the video before it was 5 minutes old, WOOT!!!
Oh no, a new contender has appeared to rival Harrmonie (Harry+Hermonie).
It irrationally breaks my brain that Fleur still doesn’t have her sister as her person. 😅
On the surface Bill and Fleur seem very different but one thing that they have in common is that they both seem to value family. From the official literature, we know that Fleur’s feelings towards Harry totally change after he saves her sister and she constantly brings that up. We know the Weasleys value family. I lost my train of thought. But I think it has something to do with family and love magic. lol.
Flower Pot as ship name made me laugh 😂 and man this time Voldy was mist for a very short time
The idea of the true owner of the cloak being unfindable actually has some canon support. When the trio apparates to Hogsmead after breaking out of Gringotts with the cup of Hufflepuff, an alarm spell covering Hogsmead immediately warns Death Eaters on watch there that someone arrived. But when they use Accio to try and summon Harry's cloak, it's said there that it doesn't work, the summoning charm didn't affect it
Can't get enough of the What Ifs!
Love this saga so far! This is fantastic! Also, I love the fact, that Fleur just absolutely wrecks house down in the lake!
Bad day for ze Gryndilows!
Great job! I love this version even more than the original one. ❤
One thing I struggle with in this one is there is absolutely no way Harry is at the bottom of the lake. Dumbledore knows that Voldy is still alive and still has his followers. After the attack at the QWC Harry will be under some insane protections.
I was always under the impression that Voldemort didn't figure out the Protective Sacrifice spell until he tried going after him first year and Quirrel died
Great video! I've just gotten back into Harry Potter stuff and I've been LOVING your fan theories (what if Harry was a Slytherin, what if Neville was the chosen one, etc.), and after watching your video on what house Dudley was in, I think it would be really cool if you did a compendium on him being magical. Would he mature faster? How would his parent's views on magic change (if at all)? Would he and Harry associate with each other, or would they keep their distance? Either way, your long videos re-examining the entire series are so fun, and I feel the magic I felt when I read the books for the first time!
Since you've done if Harry was in slytherin, maybe now you could do what if Ginny was in Slytherin? I'd seen a video by Brett's thoughts on it, now I'd like to see you have a try.
Actually IF Harry was in Slytherin there would be a good chance that Ginny land up there as well. When she came to Hogwarts, she had already the diary, so she was already slightly influenced by Voldemort.
In canon she - coming from an all Gryffindor family - didn't know anyone in Slytherin, heard only the worst about it and wanted therefore nowhere but in Gryffindor, even if the Sorting Hat possibly considered Slytherin (like he did with Harry). But if her big crush, the boy who lived himself was already in Slytherin, that could be a motive for eleven year old Voldemort-influenced Ginny to wanting or at least agreeing to be sorted to Slytherin.
This is shaping up to be one of my favorite video series that you guys have made

I wanna know, what if the Weasley’s didn’t turn back to get “Ginny’s diary” in The Chamber of Secrets? When they leave to go to Kings Cross they have to go back because many of the Weasley kids forget things, the diary being one of them. What if they just decided not to go back because there wasn’t enough time? Would Dumbledore ever make the connection about the horcruxes? 👀
In that case, molly would sent it to ginny with an owl because ginny will ask her
So everything is the same lol
Another theory? Another great day!
Hi Ben!
So cool!
The thumbnail threw me for a loop, but I loved this video.
so excited for this!
I like to imagine later in the common room Hermione says to Ron and Harry that "Fleur got to zeGrinilos and ze ver dead" or something along those lines with her 'Ze grindelos' french mocking tone from the film
I find it funny that this is becoming a series
Theory or fanfiction… I don’t care. This is another awesome timeline. I really like the explanation of how Harry is “The Boy Who Lived,” it becomes even more similar to my own backstory.
I too am The Boy Who Lived, as I defied the odds of death that took my mom out so long ago, as I survived a vehicle accident, which was what killed my mom in 1995 (it was six days after Voldemort returned in the original HP timeline), the difference was my survival was nearly two decades later (2012). In this version, Harry surviving what killed his parents was much closer to the actual time difference of my survival. Nicely done.
Also, really liked how Voldemort quickly escalated his plans in this part, looking forward to part 3 and on.
Ayyy. Just in time for bedtime!
Except that a Homenum Revelio WAS able to detect people even under Harry's Cloak. And that was while Harry was the rightful owner. The only true distinctions between Harry's Cloak, and others were, Harry's Cloak couldn't be summoned by his enemies, and Harry's Cloak didn't shows signs of wear/tear. Those were the only canon things that made Harry's Cloak special. Which makes me believe that Dumbledore was right all along. The Peverell brothers created those Hallows. Which meant that Master of Death thing was a fallacy spread by wizards that didn't know the truth.
Because of this Video I have been reading alot of Fleur/Harry fictions and there are quite a few I like..So thanks
Fun theory, but it has many holes given that Harry isn't a Horcrux until the Quidditch World Cup. No Parseltoungue means he has no way to enter the chamber of secrets (and no way to stall the Basilisk even if he does find a way in), no twin wand - so he would inevitably lose any duel against Voldemort. I think moving the chamber of secrets to the first year isn't really viable... I do agree that Voldemort would try to kill Harry as early as possible, but going MIA for 10 years is definitely not enough for Dumbledore to lose suspicion that he's still out there. I'm sure Dumbledore wouldn't be chilling eating earwax jellybeans for 10 years without at least looking for Voldemort. Also even if Voldemort can't find harry after killing his parents my dude could just cast incendio on the house and dip. I'm not trying to debunk your theory or anything as theories are meant to be fun twists on our favorite stories, and I like what you came up with and I do want to see what think of for part 3 :)
I hope for more Barty Crouch Junior in the next part!
Super glad Flarry made it into the video!!
i love that its like you guys are just writing fanfiction
Love you guys, love the channel, and I can’t wait for part 3, but….. I have so many issues with 😂😂😂😂
This is beginning to be one of my favourite theories, I have my own tho
"What if Crouch sr. found Dumbledore before being killed"
So Voldemort's previous spells are the Killing Curse at the Quidditch Cup and right before that Harry's parents? He didn't perform a single spell for 13 years? Didn't unalive anyone while plotting in the shadows? (not to mention that at the graveyard even Wormtail's magic hand appears amd dissolves so, Priori incantatem would produce many spells, and I suspect it also has a time limit or a limit on the number of previous spells it reveals)
It would be so interesting to see your takes on a “what if regulus black didn’t die?” Video. Maybe he somehow survived the cave, or maybe he didn’t immediately try to break away from the death eaters and instead played the Long game on defeating Voldemort. If he hadn’t died there could’ve even been a potential situation where Voldemort was destroyed before the prophesy was even made. What ever happens had regulus survived it means that someone would’ve known about the horcruxes over a decade before dumbledoor figured it out in the original cannon.
Your vids are so good
Is there any chance the Wizarding Candle monthly subscription is going to come back into stock. I missed out on getting one and I was gutted when I saw Sold Out this afternoon 😢
In regards to the cloak's special power: I'm pretty sure that in deathly hallows, when the golden trio are in hogsmead, they hide under the cloak & Harry is praying that the death eaters can't "accio" his cloak so I think perhaps the cloak is either spell proof or unfindable for its true owner
