  • The World's Most Exciting Classroom Episode 41
One hundred weekly events brought to you by DARWIN200 and Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants.
    Broadcast June 11th, 2024
    ------------------------------
    - We'll go live into the field with our researcher, Jut Wynne. He's been in the field, hanging off the sides of cliffs and climbing deep into caves, collecting invertebrate species. Jut is looking to accomplish two things:
    1) Find evidence for the canoe bug theory - as Polynesians sailed from island to island, were they unknowingly bringing insects and other invertebrates with them within the roots and soil of plants they brought along.
    2) Can we find a new species living in one of these extreme environments?
    - We'll join Jut and his team (assistant and camera operator) as they work through their final day in the field. The pictures in this newsletter are a small sample of what they've been up to.
    - See this week's new experiment and undertake the challenge in your classroom or at home.
    - Join a Kahoot quiz and live Q&A session!
    - Can you guess what this week's Curiosity of the Week is?
    ...and much more!
