Sad but true because only a person living in Mumbai knows the fact that foreign media has been exaggerating and lying to the world about Mumbai for all these years, having said that, foreigners are not to be blamed entirely for their depiction because our local authorities also had allowed the slums in Dharavi to expand and thrive for decades and some geniuses decided to monetise the garbage by conducting Slum Tours which cost approximately 1000 Rs per person! Their main customers are foreigners who immediately jump into the action with their cameras, the moment they land at Santacruz. This results in a chain of unending photos and videos of slums and entire Mumbai had to bear the brunt of the negative publicity because of a small portion of its area being run by the local mafia and some anti social elements with political connections. Those tours should be banned immediately and the redevelopment that had been delayed for so many decades should be undertaken at lightning speed, the government should take the assistance of even the military if the police force is incapable of handling those who are against development. Anyways, this is the reason why I make videos, I want to show to the world that there is so much more to India than what the world is forced to see.

You're from the South right? So you must be educated enough to understand that India is your 'Matrubhumi' which means motherland under the assumption that your parents are Indian. Furthermore Mumbai is a part of India, just like your hands are a part of your body, they help you in doing manual labour or maybe even type this comment or words, letters, numbers that enable you to earn a living, you won't call your hands trash right? So will you call your mother or any part of her body, trash? Think about it and have a little respect.
