ince 2017, the Grandest LAN Party has brought together EU4 fans and developers in a fresh and new kind of strategy role-playing experience, unique in the industry for participants and audience alike. Challenged by a global pandemic, the 2020 event was online only, adding even new twists and turns to this gaming event. Unfortunately, it looks like we will not be able to play again in person until 2022. But we promise that this year’s online event will be something special.

Desmond has to be the best start in Ireland. Really solid ideas and starting with a trade-center are really nice upsides.

Happy to see that pirate Desmond isn't just a weird thing I do and actually run by a legit player. Other good Irish minor for that is Munster, both have decent ideas for punching above your weight and that fort in the southwest is impossible to take by other Irish if your capital is there, because 1v1 they can't field enough troops.

The Lan party would have been much better if 1) the mod didn't allow u to declare on your faction or ally an ai nation allied to another faction member 2) the paradox staff had actually trained/prepared on the new technology they were using before hand

@@indianhacker9062 I don't remember. It didn't look like it to watch the stream. Not only were there crashes and constant fumbling moving around the game but it looks like the staff didn't know basic stuff to using the tech ahead of time.
@@masoodvoon8999 I didn't watch the game in December so I wouldn't know but you'd think that they would have fixed it by now. Then again this is the same company that released leviathan.
