  • Hi
Inspired by having had too much time and not a lot to usefully do during the COVID lockdown, I spent my time watching a lot of YT content on canoeing, cycling and bushcraft things. Eventually, I thought that I should document some of the local area of the Massif Central from those points of view. Here’s the result,
This one is the an account of our recent test run of bikepacking across SW France. My friend Chris has recently started cycling at a late stage and has trained regularly with an objective ride in mind.
This is that ride. We kick off on the high Causse land of Quercy and ride up and down to get over to Moissac where we pick up the Canal des Deux Mers cycle route which runs from Atlantic to the Med if you have the time.
Just goes to show what can be done if you want to.
    Well done Chris !

Looked like a great trip. There does appear to be an element of "young Mark playing with his camera again" going on in this video. But hey, I'm glad you shared it with us.

You know me, always playing with something.

Great video. Good use of graphics. Summer in France seems to be treating you better than the weather here in UK…

Yeah it’s a great time of year here. Tourists mostly gone but weather is still excellent. I’ve been stuck at home after an accident led to a load of stitches in my leg so it was good to get out again, despite my lack of training.
