At such a young age, Iga Swiatek is out on the court to conquer the world of tennis. Iga Swiatek plays with a lot of variety in her strokes and has an aggressive style of play. Her transition from attack to defense is frequently seamless, and her use of the drop shot is spectacular. Iga usually stays a bit far from the baseline and is quick to set an angle and postion on any short balls hit back by the opponent.
Her dedication to fitness demonstrates her admiration for Rafael Nadal. Her stamina and agility are the foundations of her game. Iga can run for the duration of the match and is nearly impossible to tyre out. How she constructs a point is also intriguing and exciting. She knows when to move forward, when to attach and when to defend, even at such a young age. The more we look at the playing style, the more we are left in awe. We're going over the technical aspects, but I'd like to use her forehand to emphasise how she's never out of position with different core positioning, footwork patterns, recovery, and finishes and swings. She adjusts to whatever comes her way, and not only does she adjust, but she also produces high-class and high-quality shots every time. so let's have a deep look at her playing style.

Uhh, besides the dynamics and kinetics there is also... the brain that really makes or breaks the game... and this is 70% of the game. The remaining 30% are a marathon, sprint, geometry, ballet, tracking, and focus. At the same time, you must be aggressive and relaxed, which contradicts each other. Tennis is a diabolical game and having only parts of the above list will not make you a champion. This is only for special people of high intelligence... and "that" something special.

Iga Swiatek has explained it the best in her interview.
Below are fragments from the interview.
"After two of my five days without a racket in my hand after the Australian Open, I felt ready, very fresh. And after the US Open , I was recovering for a long time - says Iga."
"After the US Open won in mid-September, Świątek had a 25-day break before the next match (at the tournament in Ostrava). But Iga tells us that she paid the highest price of the season for the New York victory. - I was getting such cramps at night that I couldn't sleep at all. There is a lot of tension during such a tournament and only afterwards do you feel how difficult it was. It happens when the adrenaline is gone, when the arousal has passed, the attitude that you have to play, fight. The night after the final was very tough. I thought to myself at night, suffering that there are athletes who feel such pain after each start, and I came to the conclusion that I am glad that it rarely happens in tennis - says Iga. - I survived and everything is fine, but without a doubt it was one of the most difficult moments this year."
"It is not hard to imagine how tired Swiatek can be when it is noticed that this is her first such intense season in her career. Iga finished last year with only 49 performances. Let's not try to add 17 matches she played in doubles last season (she doesn't play doubles this year). It is a completely different kind of effort, coaches often emphasize that doubles for top-class singles is a form of good training."
"As many as 72 Iga matches from 2022 are of course the highest number of games played in the WTA tour. The world number two, Ons Jabeur , currently has 61 games played (balance sheet 45: 16). We will see the difference even more clearly when we count that the Polish woman spent a total of 119 hours and 19 minutes (five days) on the courts, and the Tunisian - 93 hours and 50 minutes. More than a day less.
Let's go further, just looking at the number of games played. Apart from Świątek and Jabeur, the WTA Finals will also feature:
    Jessica Pegula who
    played 60 matches in 2022 (balance 42:18)
    Coco Gauff (57 matches, 38:19)
    Maria Sakkari (59 matches, 37:22)
    Caroline Garcia (60 matches, 41:19)
    Aryna Sabalenka (50 matches, 30:20)
    Daria Kasatkina (60 matches, 40:20)
"Of course, there are tennis players in this group who also play doubles. And they are successful in it, which means they played a lot of doubles matches. But it really doesn't make sense to sum up singles and doubles matches."
" It is more and more challenging to stay energized and focused"
" I remember that when I started working with coach Wiktorowski and he gave me five days off after the Australian Open, I was shocked and wondered how I would react to as much time off as I would do during this time. And now I really feel that each tournament is very demanding physically. It is also becoming more and more challenging to stay aroused and focused. Ostrava and San Diego were the most difficult - tells us Iga Świątek."
" I have made a decision that will mean that I will not have to be afraid whether I will play the next season in good health. 72 games played this year are behind me and it really involves costs that are not visible. I have to take care of myself. There would be another time zone change, in a more difficult side for the body. It would also be unfavorable to change the climate from warm to cold, changing the surface, rhythm and routines. And everything would have to happen instantly - explains Iga."
" Swiatek is curious how American Pegula and Gauff will deal with the attempt to combine the game in Fort Worth and Glasgow. "I am very curious to see how they will handle themselves and whether it will affect their well-being," she says. - Last year and this season as a consequence, you could see how some players by joining the two tournaments in a very short time and in different parts of the world paid for it later. It was a downgrade for several months. Hopefully next year, the WTA and ITF will really work together on the dates and locations for these two events. What is happening now is also not conducive to the quality of the show. I understand that it is not easy for activists and that they choose the best offers when it comes to the arena, fans, and the city that wants to organize such an event. But I think that the players, and therefore the fans, should be in the first place - sums up Świątek."

Top Grade and insightful analytics. The awareness of the toll on the body in measurable terms is amazing. Gathering of useful accessible data that informs from different matches at different locations, time-zones and in contrasting environments is handy, towards being ready indeed. This speaks to readiness at another level which could be very advantageous for athlete and team when needed. A wise trainer (RW) said to a wise and athletically successful Tennis Champion (VW) and I quote or rather paraphrase, " to win in Tennis, you got to learn to move your feet." Iga I'd say, powerfully has that, as part of her successful skill set and attributes, of being a complete player as well.

Her movement & groundstrokes are fantastic & elite. The modern tour is a physical grind though. She’s probably at her career peak capability now. Hope she holds up a couple more yrs to see how much she can achieve. Can she be as good as Clijisters, Henin, Sharapova, Venus & Seles? I already think she’s a better player than I remember Hingis being

A tip: don't just follow how it's written, which you seem to be doing, as some letters are spoken rather differently in Polish and English. Cheers.

The only people who can and have beaten her, are the same type of women like her. Good job! There is no doubt that there are a lot of different type of woman in tennis especially these days. Saying that, there were similar women in Serena's time. Things are changing. What I would like to see is different types of men taking part in biological men sports too.
