  • We help goaltenders choose the best jock or jill for their game and their gear. It's one of the most important pieces of gear and an affordable way to feel better, and safer, on the ice.
This is the gear segment from Episode 108 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, which features two main interviews - with Winnipeg Laurent Brossoit and one of the best off-ice trainers in the game, Adam Francillia of Alpha Hockey. alphahockey.ca/

I never leave home without at least 4 cups on. It's only 4 if I'm going somewhere safe, like the grocery store.

I’m looking for a cup like the vintage Jofa. It seems they rebranded it to the CCM cups. Do those red and black jocks have the same shaped cups as the old Jofa? Are those cups removable,

Come on guys came here for info on a good jill and you totally glazed over 1 Vapor. I need better protection against men’s leaguers shots and my generic ccm jill with the shock doctor behind it isn’t cutting it. What’s the best protection?

Fair comment - we feel unqualified to answer this one but it's on us to find someone who can!

I completely agree. the jill section was a joke. Even if they couldn't attest to fit they still could have said what they were made of if any were double cupped and what not. I'm looking to start playing goalie and I've been looking through groups. I did find an indi company called PAW that makes a custom double Jill that I'm interested in. Also look into loblow on Amazon for a Jill made out of the same stuff as men's jocks not just foam. Once again i don't own any of it yet but those would be places to look. And unfortunately they are on the upper side of the price range.

I tuck in my chest gear. What would be the best option from the cups you showed here??
I am using a CCM Pro.

Ya, I see no issues don't need 2 cups or 3. Not necessary at all. I have those Bauers you barley feel it.
