Robin Trower is a great and unjustly forgotten guitar giant. James Dewar had one of the best voices in rock. His passing was a huge loss.

I was going into high school when I got this album. Either RCA or Columbia Record Club. I had multiple memberships.

I bought this LP years ago, and have always returned to it when I need some real
song writing and playing. That is not often, as I have many records that shine. Don't forget this one! From Whiter shade of Pale... Go Robin.

Love every album Robin Trower made, but this is their "Magnum Opus!"

    Fantastic

Crazy. Sound like Trower went to a Dead show right before recording this. I swear I can hear some Garcia influence here. "Nothing's Shakin' on Shakedown Street!"

Album is almost as good as Caravan... and my intro LP to Robin was Bridge in '79 when I was a wee 15 years old. In retrospect, Dewar was every bit as magical of a vocalist as Robin was at guitar.

You have to be referring to "Simple sister" which I,m not 100% sure was on that disc. But nice choice.
You have Hanna and the whole "bridge of sigh,s" album to consider. There is way to much more to consider for this small response.
