My ego mind becomes afraid I'll disappear from this world forever if I totally surrender and return to the source of creation. Is it common for people to go to these golden states of complete Godliness without forgetting themselve and return?
Ive experienced a place which is pure golden bliss. But I'm afraid If I totally let go I may never return back to this reality. The last time I did. Is this common for people to dwell there beyond space and time for a while then to return?
I’d suggest self inquiry.

Remember, you are pure consciousness. You are creating all of this. You will always have your own individuality, your own unique point of view, you will always be you, and you will always be aware.
So, if you want to “return”, you will. Is not as if you would forget everything, you will always retain memory. But that’s not the point. The point is, you create your own YOUniverse!

at the state of merging of conscisoness with prior to consciousness, you will understand that all is a duality and its not worth 2 cents to identify yourself with your thoughts..then you will come at your pure natural timeless state which cant be described as it is the most common natural state with nothing special as the desire of anything special will vanish at that merging. What will remain will be the pure brahman, pure god, pure cosmos, pure universe and all of which ultimatley is pure self.

Is the music Lamont Young?
There is only Maha Maya the grand illusion. She has to be dismissed. After first worshipping her as God or Brahmin. Then godhood is also dismissed simultaneously. A rare one will tell you this most secret knowledge. After worshipping the Self as God, ignorance will be revealed. Then no knowledge will be left. Nisargadatta ♥️

He who thinks can change this world is the biggest fool, the only thing one can accomplish is to remove the vail of ignorance of the self and let the seed within grow to what it’s designed to be.
What is the “Guru Word” being referred to in these Pointers ? Is it - I AM ??
In some ways, perhaps. To quote Nisargadatta: "When I say 'I am', I do not mean a separate entity with a body as its nucleus. I mean the totality of being, the ocean of consciousness, the entire universe of all that is and knows. I have nothing to desire for I am complete forever."
