The Doppler Effect isn't about the change in a sound's loudness. It is mainly about change in pitch (or color, for light) due to the change of frequency between the sound-emitting object and the observer as the object goes from moving towards the observer to moving away.
Eeeeeyoooowwllll. 😁
I’m not a science geek myself, but I am a fan of TBBT & they make science sound and look interesting. Thanks for the list.
Whenever I had to study for Chemistry or Physics class, I would simply watch this show instead. Talk about an unconventional learning experience! 😅
Never took Physics. I took Biology, Chemistry, Environmental and Forensic Science in high school.
Let me guess… you failed.
@@BenE8844 😂😂
@@ELmayberry Exactly. Chuck Lorre is an idiot, who always ruins his shows near the end.
@@christopherbingham5092 Nope; he’s annoying.
schrodinger's cat is great to use on date, trust me :D
Knowing doppler affects pitch not volume has me worried about my dating future...
Of course i agree with these pics, this was a nice video. Have a happy saturday afternoon, Jen. Take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well.
0:00 a little physics
Learned a lot from Big Bang Theory even though a lot of it went over my head 😂😂😂.
And they say TV rots your brain
Property of graphene episode is one of the best and most quotable!
Did not know about game theory in Amy and Sheldon relationship
That’s very interesting
“That’s just a theory! A GAME THEORY!”
I actually learned more from big bang than I did at school 😂
This show got me to pursue science
Doppler effect isn't about loudness. It's frequency (pitch). Loudness is altered by changing the amplitude (height) of the wave
When I had a science astronomy midterm I watched all the episodes Raj worked in the Planetarium and passed the midterm and the class with a B. I remembered a lot
9:30 The Doppler effect is not about loudness due to compression of waves but frequency (pitch).
By subscribing to watchmojo and msmojo, I learned their favorite shows are big bang theory and friends.
can't forget about Rupaul's Drag Race 😊
Both of which suck
9% of people keep their bread in the fridge, but I wrap mine up, in the fridge and it makes way better toast and fried bread. The trouble with me and totally fresh bread is that, I don't make sandwiches of it, etc, I just roll the soft stuff up and put it in my mouth, with no additional things on it, thus ending up eating way too much. So slightly stale bread, insulated by several bags, is my preference. Yeah, I'm weird. 😁
Good video😄
Nice list 😊
Why am I so annoyed at WatchMojo getting the Doppler effect wrong? Am I a Sheldon?
I knew about not storing bread in the fridge but this TBBT episode validated my position to my husband.
This both learning science from the Big Bang theory and msmojo thank you
Atom Eve
i heard that the Schrodingers Cat Experiment was supposed to be a joke. not sure if thats true tho.
8:05 toad of truth is that a physics thing
Since you can't even describe the thing you "learned" properly (Doppler effect is about PITCH, not volume) I don't think you have any business making this list
What a terrible show. The only thing I learnt was to avoid this show like the plague.
I really hated the last four/five seasons. GARBAGE; Chuck Lorre is an idiot that always ruins his own shows.
Why even watch this video then?
you could just have leave without telling us that youre too stupid to understand the show.
@@sureshmukhi2316 I didn't watch it mate. I clicked on it to voice my opinion. As far as I'm aware you can comment on a video without actually playing it. Let us know if you're stuck in some sort of Black Mirror episode where you have to watch something to do these basic functions of the internet.
@@HavocXTM why comment on a video you didn't watch? It's like reviewing a book you haven't read.
