As for clickers, hide when they make that weird, disgusting sound. It's called echolocation and I have good reasons to think it works as an AOE (it is much stronger in front of em, but during that period their overall sensibility is considerably higher).

Joel and Tess were definitely some kind of “thing”. it’s more heavily implied in the show than it is in the game. its also implied that Tess was definitely more into Joel than the other way around, i think just cause Joel is afraid of ANY kind of commitment or serious attachment to another person.
Tip for 34:47, Clickers are blind, but perform those long screeches in one direction to search for you.
Runners on the other hand can see you when in front of them. The zombies cant see your flashlight, but normal people can. Hopefully Jettro learns this so he isnt as confused in future episodes.

A tip: if you find a safe then a document is nearby that tells you the code, or tells you clues to the code and it’s full of ammo, supplements and upgrade parts
You can also bypass it by paying close attention to the sound it makes everytime you change a number. The right number has a shorter, softer click sound.

Bottles don't do damage, they're for stunning. Bricks do damage and can be used for melee as well. Bloaters are like a symbiote, they're easier to beat if you use fire

Bill’s town is definitely my favorite chapter of the entire first game. The atmosphere is so soothing yet tense mixed in with the beautiful but ominous music and Bill and Ellie’s banter is iconic.
It was also just nice having a second person to help guide me and fight back against the infected after losing Tess. I hated being in charge of Ellie by myself on my first gameplay

The reason why the listening mode doesn’t work is because the enemies (only the human enemies) will stop making noises at random moments throughout the fights so you won’t be able to detect them. Also you might have noticed it by now but the enemies are highlighted depending on how much noise they make so loud noises= brighter highlight and quieter noises= darker highlight.

Hey Jett, the truck is supposed to see you and start shooting at you. You didn’t do anything wrong with that. Also, when you’re trying to be stealthy with human enemies, make sure your flashlight is off. They’re probably seeing the flashlight and noticing you faster.

Choking enemies out is slower, using a shiv is faster
1:24:52 the enemy saw your flashlight. humans can see your flashlight, the infected can't
You have to crouch walk slowly so clickers won't hear you, they hear you full speed in crouch when close to you
Weapon sway doesn't help recoil, it reduces how much your aim sways when aiming
You can read all the notes you can find again in your backpack so you don't need to remember or write down safe codes
this channel is SO insanely underrated, i could watch these videos all day

Funny part about world's like this is that alot of these fences, gates, houses, etc would be fairly easy to clear for an averge person in this scenario. I feel like you would rarely have to even enter a building unless you needed to hide or scavenge for supplies. But of course, for gameplay reasons, what would normally be an easy clear is inaccessible. I see that in many games and say to myself, "in a life or death situation, I can jump this fence and bypass the bullsh*t, no problem."

Tip for you, Jettro: you can instantly melee kill a clicker after stunning it with a headshot. The same goes for throwing bricks or bottles at other infected to stun them, then following up with a melee attack.

Some tips for you!
Unless you've figured these out already lol
When the clickers roar, they're using that to "see".
There have been a few times where you stood in front of them when they did that. When they're going to roar, stay in cover and wait for them to move again.
Now that you've been introduced to stalkers at 1:28:46 , I can't remember when and if they pop up again, but if they do, they are very quiet, they hide and like to surprise attack. The best way I figured out how to find them when focusing(because they won't pop up then) is to throw something, then they'll make sound and you can see where they are when focusing for a moment.
They do also stop your attacks sometimes if you melee(again I can't remember if they do this in the first game, it's been a while-)
Again, unless you have these of course, I hope these are helpful :)

Hey Jettro, hit either R3 or L3 on your controller to turn Joel’s flashlight off. The reason you’re getting caught by hunters when you’re trying to be stealthy is because they see your light. If you shut it off, you can sneak around way easier.
