i see ‘r’ as ‘retrospective’, My retrospective, the girl singing the song is looking back at past trauma which scarred her and somewhat guided her to the rooftop, she tries recalling her pasts selves and trauma in attempt to look for a reason to jump, they all sounded silly to her.
I also see it as the girl talking to all her past selves
My r means ¨my reflection¨. So it revolves around that topic.
*why did i read retrospective as retrospecter like the remixer*
I see this as a girl who wants to jump, but her consciousness doesn't want her to. So here's what i'm thinking.
M= Girl with braided hair
Y= Petite girl
R= Girl with a yellow cardigan.
M, Y, and R are all parts of the main girls head trying to stop her from jumping. Because at the end it describes her as being M, Y, and R. But i'm afraid it didn't stop her from jumping, but i'd say her dreams or happiness saves her.

Hi! I just wanna share something lol. I'm someone who's "emotinally unstable". Though I was not diagnosed by a professional, I just feel unstable inside. My friends come to me for advices and stuff and I listen tot hem and comfort them. Its like I'm collecting their sadness and mixing it up with mine. Confusing right? I never wanted this but I got used to the pain and said fck it let it be. At times I'm sad, I play this song because it literally is something I do always. Making them turn away but not being able to do it for myself. There was also once I stood atop of a rooftop and I pkayed this. I cried my heart out because I was no longer able to contain everything. I was scared, in pain and I wanted to jump. Call it crazy, but when I'm in pain, I just keep wanting to be hurt more. That was when I fiund iut about 'emotinal masochism'. Isn't being a masochist related to sexual urges? was what I first asked. Apparently, it's not. Im confused. I can't do anything. But here I am again, listening to this song because I'm sad. At least I didn't jump that day right?
