I don’t watch gossip tv programs or read any tabloids. Never ever really did! I watched this because Sarah was speaking for herself! I think that Sarah is the best x-royal ever!
I quite like Sarah, she has a very attractive personality. I like people who are straight forward, perhaps even blunt, honest even in concern their faults (which we all have). She is very unpretentious which is a rare quality. She certainly is very unique, not a people pleaser. Good for her! PS She does show off her legs which in deed are beautiful.

I am embarrassed of myself. I realize this is only one side of her, but that one side is remarkably intelligent and beautiful and she’s everything the media said she wasn’t, and I fed into it. I knew she was beautiful and that should have been the first clue that they were wrong, but still, I followed the media like we all do or did, blindly. This is a remarkable interview. A genuine interest from both women, genuine compassion and understanding that radiates throughout. Sarah grew up on a polo field ( because of her Father) with Queen Elizabeth watching the children and the horse’s. It was a very privileged childhood and still is in 2021
This is where the USA is so good for us Brits. Americans speak openly about their feelings as opposed to us, here in Britain, where we don't express ourselves as well as you do . I believe we need to know ourselves and that comes about only through recognising emotions. Why should we be embarrassed to show our feelings? Well done USA.

I read that it was published before Diana’s death! And that Diana felt betrayed and never spoke to the Duchess again! A sad ending to a friendship! So because I liked both I never read the book! Strong women are independent - Sarah still lives under the roof of her ex and needs to be financially supported by others because she can't manage her own finances. I suspect too that her daughters have turned out OK for reasons other than her being a wonderful mother. She is fawning and as sickly as treacle referring to her children.

i don't think it is any accident that the Duchess of York is (1) great with people; would make an awesome talk-show hostess, and (2) has had a life full of troubling experiences, and (3) that her experiences have played out on the world/public stage. I think what she has gone through and learned is her pedigree to be a leader/teacher/guru/pied piper for others to take them out of the darkness. She has a stunning amount of courage which I don't think she even realizes she has, and this allows her to get into trouble, learn from it, get back out of it, and then have things to offer others because of her kind and generous heart. Ive never found anything WRONG with her. She is the only person who is not a FAKE and that is the royal's problem with her. When you read Sarah book and watch this interview done more than 20 years ago , you realize that Megan did the right think to leave early. The palace is like prison where women suffocate inside and the want you to keeping smile. Is unfair
especially taking in account that five years on from this interview, in 2001, she narrowly missed being at the World Trade Center ( on the 102nd floor) . She was due there to attend a meeting but was running late from an appearance on The Today Show & caught in traffic on Sept. 11th.
She had immense self confidence when she married Prince Andrew and was compared favourably to ‘Shy Di’ as the press dubbed her at the time. She was supposed to bring a ‘breath of fresh air’ into the British Royal Family. And the honeymoon period ended when it was revealed for her and Andres’s huge expenditures. For little publicly covered work. However her argument with Diana who had been a close friend and introduced her to Andrew, weighs heavily on her still as it was over something petty, but unresolved at the time of Diana’s death.
Sarah s a lovely vibrant young woman. My advice to her would be to Behave like the Queen. Protect your integrity. Your nuclear family. Say NOTHING AT ALL TO THE MEDIA.
I can relate to somethings that Sarah went through as a kid, and what she learned about talking to her children. I used to be a lot like her, when I was a child I was told children are to be seen and not heard. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror to see myself, like my daughter did. She would sit in front of the mirror and say her pretty she was. I didn't stop her, I would tell her she is pretty. I also would say how handsome and cute my boys were as well. At times even now I still feel like I'm still supposed to keep quiet as an adult, like I did when I was younger. But now I'm speaking my mind and I'm trying hard not to be like that! But you have to learn from past experiences and from people who made you like that. Just speak up!

I think the people in charge of talk shows find people who are especially interested in the "guest of the day." They probably take a poll or ask people who they would like to see on their show and then, make sure that everyone who comes to the taping, likes the guest.

There is something eerie with that intense motionless stare and clenched mouth. Andy, who was frolicking with Eppy's crowd, left her alone for months with a male guard and was quick to ditch her. Ironically she was also snuggling up to Eppy. Maybe should do some more talking.

I was trying to cross Whitehall to get my lunch at work. Her and Andrew had just got married and i saw them go past. She looked absolutely stunning, her dress was lovely and they both looked happy and excited.. I was surprised as i didn’t think she was much of a looker.
I have recently made a terrible mistake against my husbands family...up to the point of self exile through great shame and regret. I still don’t know how I will look any of them in the eye but I hope they find it in themselves to forgive my lack of humanity.
No doubt extramarital affairs are unforgivable ........but some people make mistakes which is forgivable provided they are not repeated ......anyway it is always best for the couple to decide where they stand with each other.........outsiders need not interfere.........society must continue treating them like normal individuals .......
How beautiful was this, to watch after so many years...to be REMINDED that she is only a person. Yet we all watch, read, gossip and point fingers all going on with our simple normal lifes and no camera's to follow us around. May I never judge other people. Their not gods, they are people ffs.
Debbie Strom :Sarah couldn’t go to the naval base because although the base would have security the cost of providing special security was considered too expensive and would intrude on the lives of the others living on the base. If they had just let them live as a normal couple then maybe they would have stayed together and Prince Andrew may not have become so bitter.
It is upsetting that people can bully and name call people they don't even know and come to their conclusions from the press, who's only motive is to make money and sell papers. I wish the world was a nicer place.

I have recently made a terrible mistake against my husbands family...up to the point of self exile through great shame and regret. I still don’t know how I will look any of them in the eye but I hope they find it in themselves to forgive my lack of humanity.

No doubt extramarital affairs are unforgivable ........but some people make mistakes which is forgivable provided they are not repeated ......anyway it is always best for the couple to decide where they stand with each other.........outsiders need not interfere.........society must continue treating them like normal individuals .......
How beautiful was this, to watch after so many years...to be REMINDED that she is only a person. Yet we all watch, read, gossip and point fingers all going on with our simple normal lifes and no camera's to follow us around. May I never judge other people. Their not gods, they are people ffs.

Debbie Strom :Sarah couldn’t go to the naval base because although the base would have security the cost of providing special security was considered too expensive and would intrude on the lives of the others living on the base. If they had just let them live as a normal couple then maybe they would have stayed together and Prince Andrew may not have become so bitter.
It is upsetting that people can bully and name call people they don't even know and come to their conclusions from the press, who's only motive is to make money and sell papers.
