Lets theorise about Bethesda Fallout 5 release date based on what we know so far about when The Elder Scrolls 6 will release. Haven't spent a dime on a Bethesda product since Fallout 4, and won't until I see a new single player Fallout or I die. Will be 62 in September so it's possible.

It's actually ridiculous. Technology changes so much in a year or two, this is why Bethesda games always look so dated - they use current technology and waste time for 10+ years trying to make the game better and the technology, graphics, gameplay etc just get left behind.
Fallout is my fav series & I’m already 53… I hope I am still around when it drops near or into my 60’s. If I don’t make it have them add a Vendor NPC with a yellow Fedora & Blue Suit called “The Wasteland Tycoon”. Rock on Vault Dwellers. ❤🤘

Fallout New Vegas came out relatively soon after Fallout 3, using the same engine and assets but improving on them. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.
I WISH that this model would be used more often, rather than taking decades and reinventing the wheel every single time. And they allowed a different studio to provide it as well. I'm so sick of waiting decades between games.
And new Vegas is the best game of the whole series the story and factions in new Vegas make fall out 4 look like a joke

Reminder also that bgs denied Obsidian studios' plan to create a TES spin off. Looking back at how fonv slammed fo3, you can guess why.
@@brinbone2384 I agree whole heartedly; but then New Vegas was made by many of the same folks who made the original Fallouts(1&2), which is why it was better; they actually stayed true to the intent, ideas, and vision of the original.
Fallout 3/new Vegas had the perfect art style too, fallout 4 is such a disgusting looking game yet we’ve waited all this time and still don’t have another fallout game. I’d rather them just use the 3/new Vegas style and make games every 3 years, rather than 20 years for 1 game that’ll probably look putrid still
Hopefully with the wackiness they remember that Fallout also has some very dark and disturbing elements too. Look up Cook Cook in New Vegas and Andale in Fallout 3.

After Starfield, the gloss, intrigue and excitement of anything from Bethesda is dramatically diminished. For me the trust is gone.
I think Star feild was just too ambitious. I think they elder scrolls and fallout will be different
@@Ingoingsquash72 Nah it wasnt to ambitious they just delivered Skyrim in Space and that doesnt work at all with their tech, creativity and storytlling.. storywritting was bad and lets not talk about the rpg elements ... because since F3 your choices dont matter in Bethtesda games at all. It was overpromised and undercooked like all the games since F3. You need a unhealthy amount of copium to think Bethesda will pull of games like Morrowind ever again.

I remain excited for TESVI because I don't think it will suffer from some of the same issues that Starfield did. My biggest issue with Starfield was the unsatisfying combat and the numerous, small, procedurally generated gameplay spaces that all felt like the same thing. If they go back to having one large, hand-crafted world for TESVI and FO5, I think i will be much more happy than I was with Starfield.

Realistically, with quality delays, we are probably looking at 2028 for Elder Scrolls 6 at the earliest and 2032 to 2034 for Fallout 5

The fact that any of you have faith in bethesda is insane. Hand the reigns to the team that made New Vegas and give them a massive budget. And i dont just mean obsidian, but the actual people that worked at obsidian at that time
You're aware that New Vegas wasn't a perfect game, right? It's amazing but I wouldn't go that far. One, nobody from the original team is ever coming back, and Obsidian hasn't made a game since the Outerworlds. I love New Vegas too, but saying that the only thing they should do is make a sequel to a game that doesn't need a sequel instead of finding new creative and interesting routes to take the series in is, just stupid.
With the show being considered as Cannon to the fallout universe, I wonder if there are going to be callbacks to older Fallout games (I did see what looks like the lone wonderer and Dog Meat)
I also wonder if in Fallout 5 there will be callbacks to the show and maybe how it was receieved. like an off handed comment by a citizen saying "yeah the show was good, but I would have prefered a game instead".
I doubt it, Todd and the rest of the modern crew have pretty much wrecked all the old lore in favor of their own version of events.
That voice actor they had do the voice for the Mr. Handy, is an Englishman names Matt Berry. He is one of my absolute favourite actors and when I heard his voice, my excitement level went sky high!
I am really hoping that Amazon doesn't mess this up. I will never watch another TV show again and will cancel my Prime subscription immediately if they do! 😂

Perfect example of crafted versus cgi is the American werewolf films when you compare the two the practical effects of " in london " are light years ahead of the cgi in " in Paris "
Bad example, since CGI was really bad in "Paris" even for that time. His LotR example is also not totally accurate, since there was CGI in the movies. The discussion about practical effects was mostly regarding the Orcs in LotR vs the CGI Orcs in The Hobbit. Well, and the excessive usage of CGI for most landscape shots, making them look extremely fake.

8:51 depends, i think armor, weapons and sets should be practical so that it looks more realistic, but when it comes to stuff like monsters (deathclaw, supermutants, etc) i think it needs to be cgi so that it gives respect to the actual scale and proportions of the creatures. Otherwise it will just look like a slightly larger than average dude running around in a suit

I feel really bad for not trying fallout 76 when it first came out. Me and my girlfriend have had a blast and I can see that these developers still truly have a passion for what they put out. I understand that FO76 had a rough launch but right now it’s up there on one of the greatest most fun games I’ve played especially in this timeframe where games simply suck.
Fallout 76 has improved exponentially. I'd even say it's better than Fallout 4 in both gameplay and world design. I won't say story since 76 has the advantage of having multiple main quests. I really wish people have it a try instead of relying on past reviews.

Wish he would’ve asked about where it would take place, is it gonna take place somewhere familiar or somewhere completely new, which I do know that every game, it’s never in the same state, but it would be cool to revisit the commonwealth or capital wasteland, or the California Republic. Sure he could give us something like that’s for a dlc, but it would be amazing to revisit, here story’s about your other characters and what they have been up to, see if it will be the same year or much further in the future.

I don’t think we’re gonna see a far harbor reference but it’s possible we could get some references to institute scientists. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some wandering the United States and they’re not aware that the sole Survivor blew up their main base.

I love fallout but I am far from thoughts about fallout 5. For one its a long ways off and we all want TES6 desperately. Secondlt we have Fallout London, Fallout 4 remaster, Fallout TV show, and finally 76 is FINALLY getting not one but 2 story dlc’s again. The one coming later this year is another massive update like Wastelanders was. There is also apparently a leaked fallout 3 remaster plan. So TES6 and Starfield will keep us more than preoccupied until then.
76 is only getting the southern map expansion. The Atlantic City America’s playground, probably going to have 2 hours of story, then endless hours of currency grinding. Don’t forget New Vegas just put an update in beta, so who knows what’s going to happen with that.
Isn’t Fallout London just an unofficial mod? And the F4 remaster that was meant to come out in 2023? 🙇🏻♂️
@@jessehansen10 The story is short buts is pretty interesting and very needed after the lack of actual story content. And, the score boards have been reworked making it a little less tedious so that's a SCORE. I've said this in other comments before, but I'm pretty sure the Atlantic City expansion is less of a stand alone piece of content and more of a building block/ framework for the rest of 76's future content. Instead of more quests and locations taking up Appalachia, they'll be at AC to some what cut down on how many computers and consoles will explode with the addition of more content.
Maybe a story for Fallout 5 could be "The Brotherhood of steel is recruiting! , sign up today" Where we see a increase in survivors joining the Brotherhood of steel ranks to help defend the wastelands and a rebirth of the world slowly beginning to create new city's.
I'm really looking forward to the show and the potential impact this could have on Fallout-related media/content in the future.
I dont care what Bethesda does anymore. I just hope another developer gets a chance at a Fallout spinoff.

Not gonna argue but some of us remember when a game NEVER got developer attention after release, ever. As in never ever ever. Broken? Oh, wow, jeez, its broken, yeah. Anyway ....we're never touching that code again. Want to talk to the devs? get a pen, paper, an envelope ,and a stamp. Oh, and pray to whatever god-of-the-moment seems likely to give a shit. They need to release the creation kit for starfield and let us fix it.
Id say its pretty cool how this fallout tv show has ramin djawadi, michael emerson, and jonathan nolan who all were part of the cast of Person of Interest (which is also a really good show, check it out!)
Imagine this…the beginning cutscene slowly fades in, we see an old decrepit radio as it slowly sparks to life. “I’m so lonesome I could cry” by Elvis Presley starts playing as it slowly zooms out, revealing some kind of abandoned, destroyed bedroom, there are decrepit suit cases sprawled about the floor, and the ancient skeletons of once living people, the skeletons still dressed in the old dirtied, tattered clothing of prewar times. As the song plays, the camera slowly zooms out revealing the room has a giant hole in it’s wall. We zoom out of that hole to reveal that we were in some kind of destroyed, abandoned hotel. We zoom out more, the camera now moving over open water. Once the camera finally zooms out all the way, we’re looking at a dark, rainy place, with very slight signs of light shining through the dark clouds above, and we see….the town of Hilo Hawai’i, in ruins, but signs of life, as if people were trying to repurpose the decimated town for a settlement.

As much as I'm a TES fan I don't think it would lend itself to a series as well as fallout. Elder scrolls lore can be pretty convoluted, and it might be too much to introduce to a casual audience. Also the budget for an elder scrolls series would probably have to be much higher with all the magic and creatures that would require a lot more special effects. I hope I'm wrong though. If they did make one I'd love it to take place during the great war.

My top pics for what I want to see, like if you agree:
New environment- underwater areas expanded. Maybe an underwater vault that specialized in using the FEV to change sea-creatures.
New faction- vault tech (I want to find out some of those evil executives survived!)
New weapon- A small remote-control robot that we can use to explore ahead of us, and that we can detonate!
Character- Not sure but a properly fleshed out romance with the ability to kiss would be nice.
Creature- Something big, like really really big. Bigger than a behemoth, bigger than a mirlurk queen. A giant Kraken would be cool, or maybe some kind of giant mutated plant/fungal colony that has taken over a part of the map.

I wish there was a prequel of fallout where we don't have 5 mins to run to the shelter like in 4 and weren't playing in a wasteland after leaving the vault in 76. maybe a story line of the factions like the enclave and vault tech per war or how the U.S. was at war with the comunists with no mutants or scorched at the time. kinda like a call of duty game play in campaign.

Fallout 4 was brilliant, not so much 76 but I wouldn't consider that a real fallout game. Starfield wasn't that bad, didn't hit the mark but was still a decent game

There’s no way in hell ES6 is coming out in 2026. Earliest possible year is probably 2028. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it came out post 2030.

as for CVX (In case I haven't mentioned it in a separate video of yours) CVX is the most unique game in the franchise, and it does something with a female protagonist that has NEVER been done in gaming till this day (at least as far as I know).
That's why, I feel that any "remake" of this game will be Code Veronica only in name, but it will remove the most unique aspect of this game.

I've been burned twice by Bethesda on games. Definately holding off until i see reviews.
They need to drop their clunky game engine and then create three sub studios for each game so it's not 10 years between every title.

After Skyrim, how many versions of Fallout 5 will we have to buy? How often will paid mod updates trash the non-paid mod infrastructure?
There was a website that showed the road map before the leak but now it’s gone. The original list if I remember correctly was Starfield, elder scrolls and then fallout 5 but I think I’m missing one that goes after or before elder scrolls.
I think they need to focus on making good games again before announcing another franchise title when we haven't even heard a speck about TES6 in over a decade
Why would I get exited about another fallout game when the last two games were meh and their other IPs haven’t been that good either?
Bethesda games have become bland and watered down…maybe they have a broader appeal for the casual gamer but for me there are better AA studios and games at this point in time.

Man starfield sucks
Good thing they killed all of my expectations for quality with their last 3 releases, so I don't have to be inevitably disappointed.
Please do a play-through of 3, new vegas and 4 before the series comes out

Totally with you on this ESO, I've just restarted F4 today! 😄 The show looks really good, & with Jonathan Nolan writing it I'm optimistic.
My hope is that it can incorporate funny things like black mountain abut also keep a little bit darker unemotional tone like most of new vegas.
