yes I am, unfortunately most of the racetrack has been interrupted by the new house. But don't worry, with the old house gone I can build a larger one out front

???? As soon I saw that he was tearing up the old house I thought of that too. It would be a great shop.
???? too late, they bulldozed the old house and shop in to make room for his new house. check back a few videos, he has video of the new house as it was put in, its really nice! he's planning on building a new shop too.

the whole reason was to set the house further back on the property.
dave1135 I think you are half right, most likely the old house is gone now, but it was still there while they were putting the new house together, I think they were most likely living in the old house until the new place is ready, that's personally what I would do to save money, unless they had issues with the well and septic system so they had to leave.
Your exactly right, even just to have it for storage for a few years until a garage can be built by the new house. He will have a nice big basement but you don't want that as a shop for safety reasons. Takes a few weeks even months until new house can be "legally" lived in. Have to pour basement floor, put stairs in, heating, plumbing, electrical, finishing interior seams and than pass final inspection. So of course they were still living in old house.

When you get to building your new shop fearless, put tubing in the slab for in floor heating, get attic trusses and set it up for a lift. Lifts are cheap now and you can either build your walls high or what I recommend for heat and $ savings is set it up to sneak up between the trusses in a recessed area. Material cost saved by doing it between the trusses will pay for lift or finishing bulk of attic. Just make sure you put tubing in and have some heavy base spots poured for a lift. Couple bucks more but just put it in while it is easy and cheap even if you may not use either for a decade.Those two things and getting attic trusses make things so much easier for the future and you don't have to do anything with them until your ready. Older you get the better a heated floor, more storage and a lift look and afterthought and concrete slabs and changing truss design don't mix.Just my 2cents.

Pardon me Mr Todd but I had a question. I have a Koehler 22.5 hp v twin motor from a 1995 craftsman. My question is, what would happen if I removed the intake manifold and instead put two carburetors on the motor, One per cylinder, with their own air filter respectively? What do u think would be some issues and/ or challenges I'd face with implementing said idea?

i have a 18.5 horse briggs on my project mower what size slide carb should i look for i plan to upgrade valve springs install offset keyway and a little port and polishing no govener in place any help would ne awesome

I am running a mudding mower, like an idiot or people say.. maybe somebody will understand, I am running a Sears Craftsman that originally came with a 18HP twin engine, Now has a 212CC engine. as the last engine was no good.. Running a pulley system that is Completely rigged and could blow up at any time.. No hood, no lights, and Turf save Tires.. and a open Diff.. Shockingly it does go through mud. but haven't found anything really deep yet.. any suggestions?. on upgrades that i could do that is good on a poor budget?.

hay fearless I am putting a motorcycle motor on my lown mower
I have 2 running mowers right now but I'm going to sell them and buy a mower to build but my main obstacle on building a mud mower is the people around me think it's retarded and make fun of me for thinking it's cool to build a mud mower I'm 15 years old and I have a truck a four wheeler and a side by side but personally i would take more pride in building my own vehicle than getting someone else to do it for me but because people around me make fun of me for liking this stuff I guess I'll just have to enjoy your videos
Colt Beyer dont listen to the people that make fun of you. I bet they couldn't do the same thin that you could. I remember when i used to have my mower i got made fun of a lot but if you just ignore the people that make fun of it mowers are such a blast!
Thanks there's a couple of people around where I live that ride them but for some reason I've noticed that there's a lot more people riding mowers up north than down south surprisingly
You just have to make your mower badass enough that no one can make fun of it
