  • Kern Valley Airport (L05) is located at the north end of Lake Isabella in Kern County, California. This scenic, non-towered airport has a campground right next to it, access to hiking trails, and is a popular spot for local fly-ins. Here we're taking off from runway 17 in Mike's Cessna 150.

Man...that's a tight squeeze. lol I can remember telling people how roomy the 172 is, even the Warrior. My private instructor and myself wouldn't have fit in a 150/152.

Max, how many more hours before you can get multi engine land?

Hey there! Well, it wouldn't be much if I was specifically doing multi engine training, but I'm not right now. I did some during my complex / high performance training though... right now my main focus is tailwheel.

@@HeavyMetalHorizons Sounds like you may be leaning towards aerobatics. I'd stick with that beautiful J-3 from the other video. I don't have the nerve lol.

Just gentlemen's aerobatics. But if I ever want to be able to fly warbirds... that's the combo I need. Complex, High Performance, and Tailwheel!
