I usually collect all plastic items in a separate rubbish bag and when the bag is full, I give the bag to the recyclers on the road. They usually come to our area on days the bins are collected, so on those morning I drive in the area and give them the full bag. It’s not the most efficient but it’s been working for me as they do recycling for a living

You can take your body shop empties back, I think it's R20 per empty. I keep my empties and with the 2 for 3 I get great savings

8:53 take it to recycling. There must be recycling NGO's around. Unused beauty products can be donated to orphanages for matrix students (matric dances etc)
