    I was gifted 2 parakeets years ago. And our budgie LOVE grew from there. Fast fwd a year ago was once more gifted/rescued 4 budgies this time. Seeing the first 2 and the latter batch one cannot help but notice the differences. Our first 2 were basic colors, no mutations, Blue and Green. The new batch are fancy FANCY for SURE 😆 it got me excited once more for punnets square and gene mutations and exploring ALL the different splices that make my 🐦 s unique. We lost one of the 4 before Mothers day this year. Weeks later we went to acquire a new friend for our mourning mate. Welp ... Turns out ... 😂 we brought 🏡 4 New babies! Am SO in 💘 and intrigued with the variations on them. Seeing resemblances to our Bigz vs the Lilz is such a joy. I swear they must be related. Breeder bands and small local area 😁 Its as if I was seeing the clutches they never had b4 my very 👀 ❤ I had gathered my one was opaline yet now must rethink things considerably. KUDOS

    Nice video 👌 thanks for your illustration, it's easy to get it.💖 I wish u add the different looks of a genetic feature if it is associated with another one, like that a budgie could be opline and yelow face and would be like this "adding photos of them", that would be great.😅😍

    Wonderful vid bro can you make a vid over overlapping features for instance opaline and spangle and which character will be sex linked among the two? I am fond of rainbow budgies I would love to understand how you can make a rainbow out of other mutations inbreeding them and if you may have different kind of rainbow in colors in the outcome for instance blue violet yellow or green

    • @BudgieWorld
      @BudgieWorld  Před 3 lety

      If your male is not opaline that means he's a carrier, you can easily make your own punnett square and see the results for your self.
      25% - normal females
      25% - opaline females
      25% - normal/ carrier males (like the father)
      25% - opaline males
      We did cover the genetics on this one, make sure to watch until the end of the video, and see the ino and cinnamon mutations videos as well, they all have the same punnett square since they all are sex linked mutations
