So yeah I'm judging not just online gameplay but pro gameplay as well. But I'm pretty sure if you weren't just a good teammate professionally, you should easily be among the best online as well. It's actually how most of them train. The average skilled player doesn't actually get a chance to compete or choose to or just weren't around as long so "2x nat champ" doesn't mean a whole lot. Never said anyone was bad, just talking about over-hyping them when they're not better than the other pros.
Most of the guys you see casting were all ex pro H3 players some H2, and some reach etc/onwards but they more than fans bro ahah they’re some of the ones who paved the way for Halo competitive especially Walshy, Bravo, Clutch, and Onset for EU scene, not sure about Lottie I know she used to play a bit and was pretty good can’t remember on what tag but even vaan was know in later Halo years. This whole tournament was just a nostalgic trip down memory lane for all the players fans, and the casters doing commentary, would’ve been wrong if it was anyone else doing the commentary unless Chris Puckett was involved ofc that would’ve just been some hall of fame shizzle 😂long live halo hope someone can save its situation right now weather it’s 343 or not I really pray someone can save it the way it should be🙏❤️
@@floodsye What are you talking about? MCC online often has horrible problems and laggy players. LAN will always be drastically superior to online play, not sure why you're even implying that isn't the case. Challenging that fact is absurd.
I hope they fined a way to balance cross-play so we can get some numbers back in halo. And start having events where they can compete against each other.
Came back to watch this after watching all the old school mlg events and my mind is still not changed, Ola is the goat does the most in tournaments and what you need actually don’t think there’s a more intelligent player from H3 to reach he really earned the wizard title! Good luck to him seriously he imprinted a legacy that will never be forgotten, if you want the facts just go look at his record! Never shy from the top 4 and any year he placed under that he’s come back the next year either on the winning or 2nd place team hands down the best teammate optic weren’t right to drop him but they’re not wrong for picking up formal in Infinite either it’s a tough one sometimes players just don’t have the winning chemistry in a team that you need specifically for certain metas in halo titles, but that just shows how great he was back in the day and not that he isn’t now but what I’m saying is starting out at 15 and knowing the right team to always be on for nothing really shy of top 4 for over a decade is incredible and really speaks volumes about the skill set and intelligence levels of his player calibre! A lot of teams in Infinite make the roster changes for the wrong reasons nowadays which I find so strange back in the day you had just as many if not more teams changing their rosters all the time but for the right reasons that could actually be seen through gameplay and was all invested into being the winning team not as much out of hate or arguments/disagreements. So again big respect to Ola for being the most unique winning and successful Halo players ever and I’m happy to say I was lucky enough to watch him in his prime and to now!❤️
Best part about this is they stuck to what worked and what was loved. The casters comment, we do listen ins. No gimmicks. No new angles. Just what people loved about the old tournaments.

Honestly I think it would be awesome if they gave the MCC PC releases a few months each before releasing the next. It would take a while for the full game to release but it would be like a year long celebration of the series. A small snapshot of the last two decades.

Halo: Infinite should be Halo 3 with some modernizations like better hit-reg/netcode with good marketing and Halo is back completely, massive community wanting more Halo, just waiting for the new game. Plus PC fanbase/possible players = double competitive scene for Xbox and PC...with proper marketing Microsoft could be quickly running one of the biggest eSports leagues all of the sudden. All up to 343...please 343 stay loyal to Halo this time, the modernizations of Halo 5 were actually great, but the gameplay features and new weapons were awful ie. Spartan boost/slam/melee, nuke nades that flew straight for a mile, etc.
Heyim18bro - I played H3 for about 4-5 years solid, value is all relative. There is every chance if they just reskin and modernise that an entire new generation of gamers will be enticed into a game that was imo, a 10/10!

I love halo 2 and 3 the most but this is why 343 needs to make infinite keep advanced movement . U can literally be scoped in with a sniper for several seconds at a time sometimes even ten or more . In halo 5 it’s so much faster and the movements allow u not to be camp sniped as much . Also in halo 5 you’ll never find yourself camped in scope for more then 2 or 3 seconds at a time . I’m speaking from a competitive stand point also. If you aren’t a high level player and you solo q btb all day lol then yes I’m sure you’ve been in scope with a sniper camped
Halo reach needs TU settings in all game modes except 4v4 ranked. All 4v4 ranked better have no bloom at all. Not just MLG mode. All 4v4 modes have to have no bloom or this game will not be competitive at all. last time this game came out it killed the halo MLG scene. The alternative is to make BTB the competitive game mode for MLG but I really doubt that that would happen.

I play Halo 4 and Halo 5 and I will always play a new Halo but raise ranks there that stop being a challenge for me I do not want to be a number I want to be a range. If it is also possible a simple lobby like Halo 3 and Reach where I can see other players and their ranks easily in Halo 5 it is difficult to see who I am playing with. Bungie abandoned us 343 we are in your hands.

You have talented people and people who don't think too deeply on design decisions. All the shit they have had though, the fact they changed the art style in Halo Wars 2 back to a classic approach, the fact mcc is going to pc, the fact that they even had this tournament is a testament to their current direction... they're obviously listening and it's showing.

Mechanics wise, I agree. Some purists might think that armor abilities, sprinting, and aiming down sights make it not quite halo anymore, but 343 and Bungie did a good job on that front imo. Story and map design I'm a bit more iffy on though.
