Microsoft is making it hard by not allowing the license for wireless controllers with motion sensors. Windows OS should officially support all controllers around the world, just like Windows XP.

It's weird how people on reddit are praising the dpad on the kaleid as the best and from what I see it's same one used on the g7 he but your experience is different. I had the g7 se which I liked but I sold because white controllers get dirty so quickly I'll never buy one again. Gamesir released some colored g7 se models so I'm debating if I should get another se or the new he.
Hi, I have the xbox Kaleid version which has the same microswitch d-pad as the G7 HE and I can second everything he said in this video. The d-pad feels great for browsing menus but it's absolute garbage for diagonals in fighting games. I'm guessing reddit is not trying the controller in fighting games.
@@Gamerlingual Okay I got the controller, I was going to buy the g7 SE again but the the g7 HE was on sale for cheaper so I went for it. The D-pad is so stiff, the d-pad of the SE is better in my opinion. I do like the mechanical buttons but the Y is quieter compared X,B,A buttons for some reason, is it just my unit?
The clicky buttons are a big advantage because they have less travel distance and are quieter. However, the D-Pad is better on the SE because it’s membrane and not a tactile switch. That really kills the diagonals. I will say this, though; experiences vary. You may have better luck than me.
So I get that the rear buttons don't have the lock to prevent you from using it, but from the software app are you able to just disable those back buttons so nothing happens if you press them on accident?
@@Gamerlingual went for it , quite impressed thumb-sticks take a bit of getting used to and had to change sensitivity on the game to match it close. And I wish it was just that little bit heavier I feel like it'll break easy. One thing I think is too much and that's the usb-c connection point so recessed into the controller half that would have been enough
İs it better than tf4 kaleid? İm a pc player someguys prefering kaleid bc of the gyro and hall effect but gyro is not working anymore and now G7 has the hall effect too. İdk wich one is better
Both lack rear buttons. Take that into consideration. 2C had 1k polling rate and extra shoulder buttons. I would still take the Pro 2 HE over those any day.

@@Gamerlingual I eneded up buying the G7. Found a good deal for it and just went ahead. If the deadzones are Ok I'll keep it; otherwiseI'll probably change it for the Vader, since it also has a large deadzone but way more features. Thanks again!

I would get the SE without a doubt because it has the Membrane D-pad which is much better for 2D games and it has the back button latch. With the HE, you’re basically missing out on the rubber grip and membrane buttons which aren’t a big deal. So, I would go for the SE.

It could make a difference, but I don’t find my hands slippery when sweaty. Even if they do get sweaty, I wipe my controller after the use. Overall, you’re fine either way.
I don't think I want mouse type switches in the buttons, they always fail, unless they are optical, but I doubt it very much. But I love the G7 SE, best sticks for racing games out there...sooo precise and smooth.
@@Gamerlingual Feeling can be subjective, but I appreciate that in two years playing MotoGP22 with conventional sticks I never was able to set the 9 laps in the mid 1:47's at Silverstone, or do 1:11's at The Americas track with 2 stroke bikes. 1:52's at Motegi with rain? that was like impossible before. I've found my gamepad lol.

@@Gamerlingual I gotta disagree with this. The G7 to me has better ergonomics, rubber grips, better buttons than the 8bitdo. The only advantage of the 8bitdo is the D-pad, that's it. Everything else is the same or better on the G7, especially the shape.

You should be able to, but they can be disabled without the software as well

Stick with the Kaleid. If you want PC, I suggest the 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth controller, as you can also player wired.

The thumb stick adjustment is meant to reduce the dead zone. Gamesir isn’t bad.
