Agree about Flagrant...I used to listen to every episode, now I'll only listen if there is a good guest. Schulz is too annoying when he starts philosophising.

I like some of Shultz’s monologues at the beginning of the show. But I agree, the rest of it gets less and less interesting to watch.
Yeah completely agree. He used to be funny, now he just pisses me off for the most part.
He’s developed a superiority complex that’s become so grating.
Schulz’s feels like he has developed this snarky overconfidence that rubs you the wrong way.
Gillis is like one of your dawgs you played football with in high school who just happens to be top tier comedically funny naturally.
I don't agree about this take about the rest of the cast tho, mark and alex are a good addition imo

Theo is better in podcasts. Mark is solid in both. And Shane is a god at both lol
nah. mark is the king of one liner and he proved it on every podcast. between those three, mark is the genius one and has the most jokes. his Out To Lunch special has like 100 jokes in it..and its only an hour special. he's quick. shane only has the voice and the way he tells the story.
@@AmaraQuellcrist Out To Lunch is amazing and loaded with quick fire jokes like you said but it really comes down to preference and I think Shane’s style is more suited to me. His jokes are very relatable.

For Akasha’s benefit I will put in my “2c” to mention that there are some very witty and talented female comedians. My favourite is “Kitty Flanagan” not to be confused with “Clitty Flanagan”, an introductory mistake made live by a TV host😅. Worth looking her up, she does small 5min segments. Try “The Worst Thing About Shopping “ or “My Trigger Words”. There is some great stand up from 10 years ago.
You are 100% right about Schulz. He was being such a prick to Whitney Cummings, it actually made me feel sorry for her, which takes a lot.

That show was horrendous. Seemed like every female i knew thought it was funny. And nobody knows comedy like women.....

Not a fan of Andrew when hes serious, but there was a podcast with him and Bobby Lee that had good moments, when they were talking about asian transformers

true on schultz, great crowed work comedian, but annoying sometimes.. and i get what she says, sometimes i can tell the female comedian has to try harder.. but i think it just depends on the female comedian.. personally, I see to many females comedians do the same "slut/dirty" act, its old and they go that route..
I swear im the same with shulz! I loved the podcast and watched every week. Then he just got annoying. I seen a video about how he does certain things like look up, then try and make things intilectual and fake laughing etc and i just couldnt unsee it!
I do think his standup is very funny but i just cant watch more than 10 mins of flagrent anymore it gives me the ick i do think hes revolutionised comedy and is so smart and adapts and sets trends. Just something this past year makes me cant bare watching flagrent.. and akash is basically a shulz impersonation act
Totally agree about Andrew. Shane is arguably way funnier and more inviting than Andrew and whenever they talk it feels like there are moments where Andrew is in competition with him trying to be funnier or just making dickish remarks. His podcasts grown a bit boring and childish too and personally I can’t stand his sidekick with the high voice

andrew is still funny, but it's not your taste obviously.

Schultz is trash imo. I get that he appeals to that adolescent humor that catches a guy's attention but there's no depth to his setups or punchlines then the podcast highlights his shallow thought abilities. I'm being nice in this description.
Andrew is just a new yorker, but hes actually funny. New Yorkers are very loud and act as of theyre the shit because they come from NYC and they know they dont have literally anything else to lresent about themselves and so when schulz runs out of funny, he defaults back to his NYC roots
