Thank you for doing this interview. Bob and I worked at DuPont in New Jersey and we both made the trip to California. Before leaving DuPont we rummaged through their metal pipe scrap yard and made a set of stainless steel (3 in I think) side exhaust pipes for the Corvette. They had a ringing tone to them. I followed Bob in a '58 Porsche that had a Hirth roller bearing engine in it. Back in those days we lived in Sacramento. Ask bob about the hard top we got for the 'vette!. Thanks again for this piece of racing history. Planning to go visit him from here in Tucson soon.
