You know, normally I put these kinds of videos on mute. However, your commentary is excellent. I love your rambling! Every time you're like "Oh no I'm rambling I should stop," I'm like "Don't stop dude :c,". You're not only funny, but I love videos where a process is kinda talked through. It's really just fascinating to know someones thought process ya know? Really makes me feel like I'm learning something too. Plus you're just so enthusiastic about it. I really love that, like truly. I feel like plumbing tends to fall under those jobs people don't think too much about, and kind of look down on. So it's just really great that you enjoy doing this! I think it could be really validating for anyone who happens to watch who wants to do plumbing or a similar job. Success really should be defined by how much you're able to enjoy a job you work in my opinion, and in that case, you're very successful! Ya love to see it!

Bruce, mate, have you seen those thick blue gloves that come all the way up the arms? I was also thinking about how helpful those gloves would be that Enoch the Cow Vet uses that are full arm's length and loop over the head to keep them on for when you have to stick your arm into a grease trap and still be able to avoid a night sleeping on the couch!
I have also been dreaming about a Fatberg Fork to prevent those slugs from flowing downstream.

Where would I rather be than enjoying my dinner (a McDonald's DOUBLE Quarter Pounder With Cheese and fries (fried in GREASE of course) and watching you put that plugged up grease trap back in order. I can imagine the satisfaction you feel when you unblock drains and alleviate disaster for the property owners. Imagine a bottle, a glove, and a "scrubby" popping out of that gulley. Maybe that gully needs a grate on top of it. As always, you never fail to brighten my day! More power to you, Bruce!

I was watching a short from the Drain Unblockers in UK - rod plunger guys - and he pulled out a pair of undies. Made me think of you. I don't think he saved his to wear later.

Sadly, I have swam in something like that just 3 months ago. I was doing a privately owned sewer manhole inspection and someone put about 20 large cement blocks in to a manhole. I jumped down there to pull out all the blocks. It took about 5 minutes to do, so that comes out to about a dollar for me to swim in it. I'm a cheap date I guess! All Good!

I am honestly horrified by people throwing all that grease down the drain. There are hefty fines here in the UK if you don't get rid of it properly, they can even close you down!

I haven't noticed them in my travels around, so if not how is the grease level going to sewer determined?
