Here are some Suggestions for Voldex: Nr. 1 We dont need Cosmetics in EVERY SINGLE Update Nr. 2 Raise Attempts or change the way we can play Goliath Raids Nr. 3 Dont make repetetive events as its just not fun to only get events that all have the same structure Nr. 4 Make Boost obtainable by just playing dungeons for example it could drop after defeating any final boss or could be found as bottles somewhere within the dungeon.
Alright here’s the thing: Voldex is by NO MEANS a bad developer team. They have done some AMAZING things. They gave us the Champion’s Destiny, they gave us Yokai Peak which despite being easy is very FUN and the boss fight mechanics are REVOLUTIONARY for the game. Not to mention the reworked dungeons and the whole slew of new cosmetics are for the most part GORGEOUS. The visuals are insane. BUT: the problem is that they are focusing ALL of the updates on cosmetics and spending robux, which is a really scummy thing to do. It seems as if they are just trying to get a quick cash grab, which sucks a lot.
they js gotta listen to the community and only update with cosmetics once a full update is out and ppl are playing it (maybe a day or 2 after) and not make it a full update, or maybe they could make it so cosmetics are before a day or 2 updates so there is more hype
As an OG player I've seen this game evolve, when vcaffy was the owner the game was balanced (I talk about the xp, no pay two win, ...), however the update were slow and not so good. When Voldex bought the game I start to play it again, they did awesome update like Gregg, new Boss Raid and they are very good at designing and creating stuff like mobs, new attack patterns, and they got some good idea, but they made (in my opinion) the game P2W & P2P, the only way to get a cosmetic is buying it or get very very very lucky (I never got any and I play since November 2018). The xp grinding is way to slow for exemple: I'm lv 171 and to reach lv 175 I need to do 63 runs, each takes around 8 minutes so its equal 504min --> **8 hours** and it is way to much, but if you have vip + xp booster you only have to do 29 runs --> 232min --> around **3H40 min**, the difference is huge and it make me bored of the game, I don't want to do the same thing over and other for 8H !!!! The other thing is as I said before, the cosmetic, they seems to focus on making cosmetic instead of real update, yes the cosmetic are good but you can only get them by paying roblux, so I wonder if instead of reviving the game they are making it only a money machine. But its still important to say that they are working on new features like quest which will help a lot on the grind but they still find a way to make money out of it, they are the EA of roblox. I didn't talked about the speed, health, revive potion because this is just p2w, if they create a way to get potions for free (need a lot of grind tho) this can make the game better, same with cosmetic, maybe make that if you play for like 50h you get a free cosmetic ticket or smth. I like the game, but I'm getting bored since its just impossible to grind as a F2P (grind and having a life)
Honestly i used to carrylike 30 ppl at a time in dungeons from like steampunk to volcanic just because i wanted to and now woth gregg you hust have to watch as this stupid boss spawns in when you're carrying and cant kill him and he never spawns when you're solo grinding for him and carry is boring now
There should be a vanity option for your armor sets and weapon, it could make collect grinding more worth it, and collectables can actually have a purpose except rotting away in your inventory
only reason people hating on voldex, is because they have a whole team of developers, that could make a new dungeon within 3 months, and are still working slower than VCaffy by himself, he took 8 months to make AT by himself, and yet Voldex takes that same time and makes smaller fixes to the game that is needed, but then adds in cash grab mechanics to make the game more p2w, which ruins them, like making boss raids 3 times a day and u can buy more for robux, overall dq mainly becoming a cashgrab instead of a actual fun game
2:45 yep theres a big problem with yt in dungeon quest. Personally when i started it around nearly 2 years ago it was because dungeon quest was at its dying point and there was literally like no CZcamsrs and even Accemption quit at the time. I started it because of him but now around when Voldex started getting popular theres been lots of noob to godlys and it’s basically the only content out there now, but you know, if you already started it you got to finish it.
Yep dq yt was so dead after Accemption quit which caused people to leave the game but now Voldex reviving the game made it from dead to repetitive so now history repeats its self. But this is not all there fault because theres nothing to really make content on besides noob to godly. Showcasing updates is hard to create now because it happens every month
Tottally agree, if you remember back in the old days there was always content to make because updates were consistent so CZcams was at a pretty good state by then, but then it died off by boss raids because you dont even play through the dungeon which is what people liked, not only that but they just extended boss raids to 12 then 20 then 30 then like, bro whats next?
It just goes to show that the updates that Voldex makes has a big influence on the success of making content. If the game is good then content is good and the other way around
ive been playing since sp , as a 232 with a 31.8 set and champs , I agree with what you are saying abt people getting burned out with dungeon quest , imo they should make lvl ups quicker , some dungeons just feel long to grind like aquatic . to get to 165 from at insane , you need 57 rounds. thats insane for cuz at is such a long dungeon with an average insane set 3 cycling and taking around 6 mins per run. that. is why there are less people under 180 in lobby . they just couldn't be asked and quit dq . eg , to get from 80 - 90 (uw -sp ) u need like 20 games total. to get to from 90-100 (sp to tc) you also need around 25 games . why not just make every dungeon a 25 game lvl up. ofc for people 210 + , just make yp nm give a bit more exp and scale up the lvl up amount for 230s so that lb still retains that difficulty .
My feedback on the video: 1:15 The game is clearly p2w because of boosts, revives, bounties, buying dalies, buying boss raids, and the upcoming quests. 1:40 This is actually a very good thing because as you mention later, you have nothing to do after level 200 and this slows down how long it takes to get there. But I do agree the VC does take way too long. 2:05 It does not take the average person a few weeks to get to level 200. Maybe it does for you be you p2w and play 25 hours a day but for me it took almost 5 years. I’d say the average person would take around a couple months of playing an hour or two a day. 2:22 It is a good grind because it gives a you something to do. Plus, you won’t be sick of the old dungeons because you haven’t played them in so long. 2:53 Clearly this guy hasn’t seen dungeon quest a couple of years ago because it has always been the same. voldex is a W and revived this game too and probably brought you into playing DQ. however its always been repetitive once you max out dq. before i got termed i would max out this dungeon, grind for hours on end a day, and quit until the next dungeon came out months to a year later.
I've played since 2020 and jesus christ there is no updates and cosmetics events were fun but now its just gamble for a recolored cosmetic that doesnt even look good with like a 1% drop rate and half the cosmetics never look good and if anyone remembers the valentine event you know what i mean when i say its a pay to win event and we need an option to turn off gregg spawns because i used to carry like 30 ppl at a time for a while but with gregg it just spawns in and i can't beat it but when i grind for it solo he never spawns which is already annoying and the runes in lobby 1 for Excalibur is being removed when people like me have already grinded for all 5 obtainable runes and now its being removed which is just not good
Also i agree with the fact that in the higher dungeons you cant progress without carries unles you have a maxed purple set from the dungeon your playing.
Instead of doing 3 boss raids daily bring back the old boss raid and the new one to kinda fuse them but once you are like lvl 160 just change it to the new boss raid and make it 5 tries
Speaking about the events, it is true that in 2022 the Halloween and Christmas events were very fun, and not just roulettes to get a purple cosmetic with a 1% chance. I'm not saying that they are doing it wrong but they should focus a little little more in the player experience and not so many ways to get money from the players. Of course right now the game is stable, but the cosmetic updates (which you have to buy) and other things make the game just the same as if it had not been updated. Not everyone has Robux, of course it's their game, so they will do what they want. I hope things change over time ;)
About the levels, when I hit lvl 200 back in EF I literally lost motivation to grind for higher levels. Although I came back to the game very recently, I really enjoyed the new Boss raids and the Yokai Peak dungeon. Looking at the last updates I think Voldex are in the right direction of making the game more enjoyable.
Add exp to yokai peek I'm level 237 and i haven't do yokai peek since gregg because is feels gilded skies and gregg there feel more fun then yokai peek
I think it would be interesting if potions able to drop from dungeons (chance between epic and leg) AND you can choose when you want to use them or not (like item in inventory you can activate) or ones in a while black market will spawn with some sort of cosmetics, potions and other donate stuff but it cost not robux but in game coins or new currency special for it and reset every week so you cant grind it infinitely.
The xp needs a rework, plus higher dungeons such as northern lands and guilded skies are impossible to do without a max set, people complain about Yokai being easy but that is a good level of difficult to me because gilded skies is stupidly difficult
first increase the exp rates in lvl 150+ dungeons (more than slightly because they are longer than the other ones), secondly focus strictly on the 17th dungeon and follow it up with boss raids second boss, third thing could be doing the banking system and the things they wanted to do etc. after that follow it up with the 3rd boss raid and work on the 18th dungeon. The reason for it is because much people are waiting for the next dungeon and if they focus on releasing it fast, they will have more time to do the updates they want without the community being enraged (if they don't screw up smth. ofc.)
Voldex is doing fine as of QOL wise,i dont really know what is their plan,now then since the latest dungeon is yokai why not do a coherent dungeon theme ex every 3 dungeon switches to mythology to body horror they should experiment on themes. If they can cook up good cosmetic and maps they can do it. DQ has the potential to be great and better just have limitation on making cosmetic its fine if its 1 or 2 but please make your cosmetics every 2 updates since dq already has 210+ skins alone. pet peeve about profile they should add new profiles but the requirement is gregg materials
Honestly a new dungeon would help the game out a lot also exp should be fixed because it takes too long to lvl up but we desperately need a new dungeon because it will bring back a lot of high lvl players. Btw it’s like 2 am so I don’t care about using grammar so yea
lowkey DQ need some kind of lore or side quest that give you some reward like 2x exp, titles or things like that. just some kind of more enjoyable grinds. a small story is always enjoyable. (my main language is not eglish sorry for the bad spelling🙏)
My thoughts on the problem are, that it has repetitive gameplay, and that they are doing alot of cosmetic armors, but no real armors. I feel like each dungeon insane could have multiple spells, with different functions that give people new playstyles to try out. I feel they could rework the stat system and add more classes than just Warrior, Mage, and Guardian. Overall Voldex is a great dev team, and BE GLAD we have them working with Vcaffy to help dungeon quest.
The new boss raids is fine but tbh its just another way for ppl to do way to much damage and with the 3 limited runs a day it is just another daily reward system, mabye change it to where you get 3 and when you complete those 3 you gotta eait like 1-2 hours to get another 3 runs and so forth and mabye an option to turn off gregg spawns and mabye increase its spawn rate because i get like 1 of em per like 5 runs and get like 1 mat, mabye boss raids should drop materials to make it slightly more do able so i don't gotta geind for a month for destiny
I’d say I pretty much agree with you across the board, except for the “everybody does Noob to Godly” and “DQ isn’t pay to win” points. To kick it off, Voldex’s Dungeon Quest is definitely is pay to win. The direct item giving pay to win, the one you mentioned in the video at 1:16, is far from the only way to pay for an advantage in Dungeon Quest nowadays. Potions are the main offender when it comes to this- A friend of mine was able to grind from 0-200 in 3 days by exp boosting their way up. That’s insane. For a first time player, not some pro who knows how to speedrun their way up to do it that fast is unheard of- except if you’re willing to pay money. That’s pay to win if I’ve ever seen it. I’m not saying vCaffy didn’t have pay to win features, he’s the one who introduced exp boost after all, but that doesn’t change the fact voldex has tripled down on these features since they took over. About the whole content point, let’s be honest, in a Dungeon Crawler game, especially one like Dungeon Quest, what kind of content can people really make that’s going to be entertaining? It’s definitely there, I’m sure people have a couple ideas, but Dungeon Quest is no open world sandbox. Content relies almost entirely on new stuff that comes out from the devs. Also kinda ties into why people picked up your 100 days content so fast, like you were talking about at 3:13- there’s nothing else to make content on.
Another thing about dq is the new alt character and i hate it so bad Just think when you play and grind a lot for your main about like 3 years and you just create an alt and you play about like few weeks and ur alt lvls already higher than your main one
To make the game more fun they schould increase exp rates in higher dungeons instead of nerfing it update by update like they did with yokai peak. They nerfed yokai peak when it came out cause it gave way to much exp which was fair but after that with quest which dont even work for half of the players they nerfed exp in al dungeons which made it even harder to lvl up.
Voldex should absolutely buff the exp and make new dungeons not just the cosmetic upgrade because it's always for robux to play it and that annoy me so much because its a real waste. They need get the dungeons higher chance to get.
I am level 230 with champions destiny,purple akuma and eir, Ive been playing dungeon quest since very early 2019 and the game have just gotten more and more boring,less updates. There is nothing to grind for anymore besides levels, The update that comes out now are just cosmetics which is not anything useful/fun in my opinion, Voldex needs to start making actual useful updates, we want new dungeons, no one wants cosmetic event or stuff like that, dungeon quest is not close to how good it actually used to be and im starting to lose all my hopes for the game if they continue like this. I would like if we had quests we can choose and after completing it we get free boosts depending on how hard the question was so if they add a quest system i would love to play dungeon quest every day but for now i only go in to get my daily rewards and do boss raid, also it would be nice if they increased leg drop rate cuz ngl i only get 1 leg in like 1000 games
I rlly want a button that says more items more exp more gold and the mobs are harder there hard to kill they do more dmg and they spawn more it’s so it will be better than just nightmare or insane /hardcore and also make it a bit slower to lvl up to lvl 1-60 cause it is very easy and it’s harder if no one carrys you and you don’t have good armor and I hope this and this is what I want for the new map so I want it to be more harder have better stuff armor spells and a bit more exp and make it harder to get legendary or collects so it’s harder to get like the loot so there is more to do. @@WookiesRUs I'm a lvl 157 on my alt currently and I got almost the same exp as doing VC insane from doing OO nightmare and it's just alot quicker. For loot you can just claim dailies, gregg hunt and do boss raids
It's alot faster to level up by doing OO since you can beat the dungeon in like 2 3 mins while it would take twice or thrice as long to do VC without getting carrier

It’s not that hard to no hit and go full dps, vc isn’t a hard dungeon. More gold, loot, better drops and exp, and the eif are definitely worth it if it’s an easier dungeon like vc

And in my opinion they should add 1 dungeon each month or 2 months i know its hard but if back then it worked then it should be working for this.
Vcaffy was probably one of the best game devs but the reason people didnt have a problem back then was because back then it was one guy working on the whole game, here they have a whole team working and it’s been more than half a year since the last dungeon
I was in the discord for a few years and everyone had a problem with the late updates. I do believe vCaffy had a team but work was priority over the game.

I've played since 2020 and jesus christ there is no updates and cosmetics events were fun but now its just gamble for a recolored cosmetic that doesnt even look good with like a 1% drop rate and half the cosmetics never look good and if anyone remembers the valentine event you know what i mean when i say its a pay to win event and we need an option to turn off gregg spawns because i used to carry like 30 ppl at a time for a while but with gregg it just spawns in and i can't beat it but when i grind for it solo he never spawns which is already annoying and the runes in lobby 1 for Excalibur is being removed when people like me have already grinded for all 5 obtainable runes and now its being removed which is just not good
Also i agree with the fact that in the higher dungeons you cant progress without carries unles you have a maxed purple set from the dungeon your playing.
A skill tree would be really cool, either as a replacement for the skill points we have currently, or as something that works alongside them
Instead of doing 3 boss raids daily bring back the old boss raid and the new one to kinda fuse them but once you are like lvl 160 just change it to the new boss raid and make it 5 tries
Speaking about the events, it is true that in 2022 the Halloween and Christmas events were very fun, and not just roulettes to get a purple cosmetic with a 1% chance. I'm not saying that they are doing it wrong but they should focus a little little more in the player experience and not so many ways to get money from the players. Of course right now the game is stable, but the cosmetic updates (which you have to buy) and other things make the game just the same as if it had not been updated. Not everyone has Robux, of course it's their game, so they will do what they want.
I hope things change over time ;)
About the levels, when I hit lvl 200 back in EF I literally lost motivation to grind for higher levels. Although I came back to the game very recently, I really enjoyed the new Boss raids and the Yokai Peak dungeon. Looking at the last updates I think Voldex are in the right direction of making the game more enjoyable.
I dont wanna give up dungeon quest bc its a comfort game to me,i just hope Voldex and the team step it up just a bit.
Add exp to yokai peek I'm level 237 and i haven't do yokai peek since gregg because is feels gilded skies and gregg there feel more fun then yokai peek
I think it would be interesting if potions able to drop from dungeons (chance between epic and leg) AND you can choose when you want to use them or not (like item in inventory you can activate) or ones in a while black market will spawn with some sort of cosmetics, potions and other donate stuff but it cost not robux but in game coins or new currency special for it and reset every week so you cant grind it infinitely.
Idk if this is a good video suggestion but try and trade up a starter wand to like an ultimate or something
The xp needs a rework, plus higher dungeons such as northern lands and guilded skies are impossible to do without a max set, people complain about Yokai being easy but that is a good level of difficult to me because gilded skies is stupidly difficult

first increase the exp rates in lvl 150+ dungeons (more than slightly because they are longer than the other ones), secondly focus strictly on the 17th dungeon and follow it up with boss raids second boss, third thing could be doing the banking system and the things they wanted to do etc. after that follow it up with the 3rd boss raid and work on the 18th dungeon. The reason for it is because much people are waiting for the next dungeon and if they focus on releasing it fast, they will have more time to do the updates they want without the community being enraged (if they don't screw up smth. ofc.)
All I want is a new dungeon with a lot of items (armor, weapons, and spells) mainly spells though

Voldex is doing fine as of QOL wise,i dont really know what is their plan,now then since the latest dungeon is yokai why not do a coherent dungeon theme ex every 3 dungeon switches to mythology to body horror they should experiment on themes. If they can cook up good cosmetic and maps they can do it. DQ has the potential to be great and better just have limitation on making cosmetic its fine if its 1 or 2 but please make your cosmetics every 2 updates since dq already has 210+ skins alone. pet peeve about profile they should add new profiles but the requirement is gregg materials
Honestly a new dungeon would help the game out a lot also exp should be fixed because it takes too long to lvl up but we desperately need a new dungeon because it will bring back a lot of high lvl players. Btw it’s like 2 am so I don’t care about using grammar so yea
lowkey DQ need some kind of lore or side quest that give you some reward like 2x exp, titles or things like that. just some kind of more enjoyable grinds. a small story is always enjoyable.

My thoughts on the problem are, that it has repetitive gameplay, and that they are doing alot of cosmetic armors, but no real armors. I feel like each dungeon insane could have multiple spells, with different functions that give people new playstyles to try out. I feel they could rework the stat system and add more classes than just Warrior, Mage, and Guardian. Overall Voldex is a great dev team, and BE GLAD we have them working with Vcaffy to help dungeon quest.
Vcaffy sold the game for money. He isn't a dev anymore.

The new boss raids is fine but tbh its just another way for ppl to do way to much damage and with the 3 limited runs a day it is just another daily reward system, mabye change it to where you get 3 and when you complete those 3 you gotta eait like 1-2 hours to get another 3 runs and so forth and mabye an option to turn off gregg spawns and mabye increase its spawn rate because i get like 1 of em per like 5 runs and get like 1 mat, mabye boss raids should drop materials to make it slightly more do able so i don't gotta geind for a month for destiny
They should make cos acceseble truth doing quests when there are no events and make insane modes drop something valueble

I’d say I pretty much agree with you across the board, except for the “everybody does Noob to Godly” and “DQ isn’t pay to win” points.
To kick it off, Voldex’s Dungeon Quest is definitely is pay to win. The direct item giving pay to win, the one you mentioned in the video at 1:16, is far from the only way to pay for an advantage in Dungeon Quest nowadays. Potions are the main offender when it comes to this- A friend of mine was able to grind from 0-200 in 3 days by exp boosting their way up. That’s insane. For a first time player, not some pro who knows how to speedrun their way up to do it that fast is unheard of- except if you’re willing to pay money. That’s pay to win if I’ve ever seen it. I’m not saying vCaffy didn’t have pay to win features, he’s the one who introduced exp boost after all, but that doesn’t change the fact voldex has tripled down on these features since they took over.
About the whole content point, let’s be honest, in a Dungeon Crawler game, especially one like Dungeon Quest, what kind of content can people really make that’s going to be entertaining? It’s definitely there, I’m sure people have a couple ideas, but Dungeon Quest is no open world sandbox. Content relies almost entirely on new stuff that comes out from the devs. Also kinda ties into why people picked up your 100 days content so fast, like you were talking about at 3:13- there’s nothing else to make content on.
Another thing about dq is the new alt character and i hate it so bad
Just think when you play and grind a lot for your main about like 3 years and you just create an alt and you play about like few weeks and ur alt lvls already higher than your main one
To make the game more fun they schould increase exp rates in higher dungeons instead of nerfing it update by update like they did with yokai peak. They nerfed yokai peak when it came out cause it gave way to much exp which was fair but after that with quest which dont even work for half of the players they nerfed exp in al dungeons which made it even harder to lvl up.
Voldex should absolutely buff the exp and make new dungeons not just the cosmetic upgrade because it's always for robux to play it and that annoy me so much because its a real waste. They need get the dungeons higher chance to get.
I am level 230 with champions destiny,purple akuma and eir, Ive been playing dungeon quest since very early 2019 and the game have just gotten more and more boring,less updates. There is nothing to grind for anymore besides levels, The update that comes out now are just cosmetics which is not anything useful/fun in my opinion, Voldex needs to start making actual useful updates, we want new dungeons, no one wants cosmetic event or stuff like that, dungeon quest is not close to how good it actually used to be and im starting to lose all my hopes for the game if they continue like this. I would like if we had quests we can choose and after completing it we get free boosts depending on how hard the question was so if they add a quest system i would love to play dungeon quest every day but for now i only go in to get my daily rewards and do boss raid, also it would be nice if they increased leg drop rate cuz ngl i only get 1 leg in like 1000 games

@@WookiesRUs I'm a lvl 157 on my alt currently and I got almost the same exp as doing VC insane from doing OO nightmare and it's just alot quicker. For loot you can just claim dailies, gregg hunt and do boss raids
It's alot faster to level up by doing OO since you can beat the dungeon in like 2 3 mins while it would take twice or thrice as long to do VC without getting carrier
And I don't think it's worth it to waste my time by trying to get EIF/EIR when i only drop 1 loot

I was in the discord for a few years and everyone had a problem with the late updates. I do believe vCaffy had a team but work was priority over the game.
