personally the 8 tentacles sounded the best... put that cacophony through a reverb, delay & chorus/phaser & play an hours worth of anything would get close to lou reed's metal machine music... is all subjectively pesonal

Thank you so much for this video! While I don't play harp and only have passing familiarity with stringed instruments (dabbled in guitar and bass), this is IMMENSELY helpful for my effects shopping list, since these would be great just routed through an analog synth setup. Most demos always have different phrases and musical pieces so sometimes I find it hard to discern what exactly the effect brings to the table. 50 different pieces of gear using the same phrase REALLY helped me get a list of my must haves!

Lol I just noticed Russ covering the widely known blinding EQD lights with his finger. Now that you’ve reached 100K subscribers 😍 can you do this same video on a different phrase with 100 other pedals? Or even like .. 20 pedals…. lol

If anyone is curious, the Potato does great tuber amp distortion.

@@emilyharpist awesome video! I have a Data Corrupter and I need to spend more time with it trying to tame that beast! I’ve yet to try it with my catalinbread bicycle delay, that is also some wicked fun! I bet it’d sound mega trippy and beautiful on your harp.
