When I saw the title and thumbnail, I legitimately thought it meant that only the regular Peashooter obtained in the tutorial could be used in the challenge (and not just other peashooting plants, like Repeater and Split Pea).

Just saying if a zombie is big enough you can place a split pea on top and plant food it to deal like twice the damage
It can actually make it do 3x damage(if you compare with the front and add the back)or 1.5x damage(if you compare with the back and add the front)
For endangered plant levels, and hard levels in general, remember that you can send lawn mowers early to kill zombies before you lose all your plants!
Yes, but I think you get this feature only in the later parts of Far Future, still a very useful tip tho.

this challenge can be different depending how you do it because if you got seed packets for other peashooter plants and stuff(fire pea,snow pea ect.)so this would be very interesting if you were to speed run this challenge because you could either try to go straight through the worlds and possibly have to think of how to beat some days or you could use some time to get gemium plants and seedium plants that are peashooters and have the harder days a bit easier to speed it up too and get a faster time

A nice challange would be to only use plants of one class. Like only solar plants, shadow plants or fire plants

I know you said yourself that the talk about never giving up and staying dedicated was just your fried brain after battling this level for so long, but it actually kinda got me. I am currently applying to acting schools and those exams are kicking my ass hard. I had a mental breakdown yesterday due to the fact that I just couldn't get my prose right. I woke up very defeated, with no energy to shoot the other exam videos, and that talk helped me find new motivation. Thank you!

With the levels that pick plants for you, I respect sticking to the challenge, most people just give themselves a pass.
Actually, the person who did this challenge also gave themselves a pass on Locked and Loaded levels. They just did the ones that were possible as a bonus.

I wonder how you will handle Dark Ages, seeing how the two biggest roadblocks are the limits of sun, and the Jester Zombie effectively shutting down all peashooters.
Split pea can be used against them and also excavator zombies in the lost city

Electric peashooter can kill jesters, but sun will make it impossible still

I've actually done this challenge myself (not on youtube though). I personally used ONLY peashooter for damage. Stallers and non-damage plants I allowed. I had to save up gems for hurrikale though for the shovel zombies. Suprisingly, lost city was possible by perma-stalling shovel zombies until the final wave, so I could use the lawnmowers on them.
I would literally be shocked if you could beat Far Future and Big Wave Beach with only peashooters. I thought that you was only allowed to use basic peashooters, which would probably be impossible 😅
pretty sure with upgrades it'd be possible, hence why the "lvl 1 only" restriction
Idk if guacodile is a peashooter but i think that would be useful in big wave beach

One thing to note is that since you were required to upgrade peashooter to level 2, that might make it better than other plants allowed in this challenge.
Not really. It gains a slight boost in recharge - which hardly matters, and the damage increase isn't enough to replace Repeater. It is still a good bit better than it normally is, but Peashooter is terrible, so this just makes it *usable.*

Ah yes, we unlock peashooter half-way through the second world, makes sense.
I love the chapters: 0:00 Intro, 1:11 Tutorial, 1:38 Ancient Egypt, 7:24 Wild West, 11:45 Conveyor Belt. Also, an easy solution to endangered plants levels in Conveyor Belt (AI is always right) is to let hunters freeze them so they cant be eaten!
Rotobaga is technically a peashooter, since its in the Apease-mint family, the same with Red Stinger. So you CAN get a defensive plant

I decided not to include appease mint plants that arent peashooters, such as red stinger, bowling bulb, etc. But we could always change that rule later on if most people agree with you...

I remember on my first playthrough knowing nothing of the world, I always used the basic peashooter in the first few levels until given a new attacker that was worth using over the cheap cost, fsst recharge, and desent fire rate.
I can gladly say I've used at least one tupe of peashooter in every world at least once.
I think an better name for thos challenge would be Peas only

@@los-lobos buffs all pea plants it’s planted on, including itself, which means that it has a strong attack power, as well as saving space due to the vine properties
Peashooter. The first plant you unlock in Plants vs. Zombies 2, or any Plants vs. Zombies game for that matter. It's the most basic plant in the game that you're supposed to replace with better options as you unlock them.
Honestly the rent a plant feature is a lifesaver for challenge runs like these, especially considering, from what I know of, the newer versions of pvz2 don't let you progress the story however you like, and instead forces you to do it all in order. While in the older versions, you could open up a later world with a key and obtain plants from way ahead by doing so.

@@fortnitesexmanYes, because the actual final product was obviously just a never-ending stream of, "And then I beat this level very easily." It would've been so much better if it had just been incessantly spamming a single plant until reaching a point where the game curb-stomps you for your brilliant strategy, ending the challenge immediately. Very awesome.

I had an idea a long time ago: can you beat pvz2 with only zombies? (The 3 hypno plants, solar sage, and ice bloom). Also there is a plant that creates vegetable zombies, it doesn't count, it's not real zombies.

what if you beat plants vs zombies 2 with only plants from the previous world, eg in ancient Egypt you can only use plants that you've gotten from the beginning and then in pirate seas you can ONLY use plants from ancient Egypt and not any this previously and exetra. and i would say if you want for sun producing only the most RECENT sunflower that you have unlocked, yes even gold leaf: love your videos.

I acutally tried this a few weeks back and on a fresh account in the newer version (since I did it on my phone). I think it was day 16 on wild west or something near that was just completly impossible. And I'm pretty sure its know to be one of the hardest levels in the game. And since you can't jump worlds in the newer versions you can't just go grab primal. And can't do anything in frostbites since you can get gems as consistanly as you used to be able to.
If a koala and a goblin had a child it would be a peanut…. Haha

Fun fact:in stage 2 for the tutorial world when the game tells you to plant 3 sunflowers if instead you don’t place them and wait for 20-30 seconds then you won’t have to place 3 sunflowers and the zombies start coming(I still think day 2 in the tutorial world is still fair because I don’t know if alot of people know this)
PVZ2: My game contains a big number of type of plants that you can use to protect you from the zombies

Since you can use all pea-based plants, that means you can get sling-pea to handle the shovel zombies in lost city, most pea-based plants can't handle them since straight shots are blocked
