Despite actually being a pretty easy boss in Sonic and Knuckles
@@bobbovine so weak that knuckles is capable of defeating him, even though in sonic 3 and knuckles is established that knuckles is weaker than Sonic (his boss fight).

This gives me nostalgic feelings for the classic Super Mario Bros. Z. Hope and pray we get a new episode for the reboot series sometime soon.
In SMBZ, Mecha Sonic has a weakness to fire, even while under the effects of four Chaos Emeralds, so I expected the first attempt to do more damage.

@@Blackpanther04xx The scene is brief, but Mecha Sonic was charging up a fatal energy blast, but Mario completely disrupted it with a charged-up fireball. You can even hear Mecha Sonic grunt in surprise (or possibly in pain) after getting hit.

Imagine a Calamity about “People who always talks over other people” and the vid should called “Interruptions Calamity”
This is one of the few calamities where Mario doesn’t end up winning in the end.
