Oh, I truly appreciate that and you are welcome!

Why? We are in love with her, so we sure deserve her amazing and generous teaching!!
@@Victoria-Victorious you are the most amazing singing teacher on CZcams!! We love you!! ❤
...and we love it that you go deeply into details m, bc our voice teachers do not mostly have the time.
Oh my god! I was having so much trouble with high notes but as soon as you said "it takes less air, not more" i managed to sing them! Thank you so much! 💗
Fabulous! Glad I could help!
“That’s choking on your own voice.” 🤣
I quit smoking January 15 2023. I’ve been learning how to breathe again and wow! You sure have some great exciting news to hear 👂
Oh Victoria!!! When you did that deadpan facial posture I spat out and choked on my cup of tea I laughed so hard. You are absolutely delightful and precious, a blessing to this world. I would so much like to meet you in person one day, you would be so much fun, i would be smiling for months. Much love from Australia and many blessings upon you. ❤️
I am so happy that I can make you laugh during "serious vocal technique"! 😀 After COVID subsides, I would like to resume my teaching trips. A trip to Australia could be possible!
@@Victoria-Victorious Oh my goodness, that would be a dream come true, another tick on my bucket list.
Words cannot say how much I need this! Everything I need to remember, all in 1 place! Your channel gives me everything I need! Love you! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, Ex! I appreciate you!
Is CZcams spying on me? This is exactly what I needed haha! Thank you so much ❤️
You're so welcome! You can come back to review it as needed!
I took notes and I’m determined to improve 😊 without you I wouldn’t have made this much progress thank you 🙏
That is so great of you to post! Excellent!
You are a force to be reckoned with. Thank you for allow beginners and former introverts like myself a chance to learn something out outside of my comfort zone and into a new realm with confidence due to the valuable nuggets of wisdom you've graced me with that im certainly going to keep and depend on the rest of life. Thank you Victoria. P.S. Sirens are my favorite now
I love your enthusiasm - it's contagious. I'm a contralto and after this video I was genuinely convinced I could reach high notes at one point. Well, it remains to be seen, but I'll try. Thank you!
Oh! I have so so far to go. 😢 Thank you for the lesson.
Great video! Thank you so much!
You are such an eager, fun, and thoughtful person! Your videos always help me become a better singer! You are one of my favorite vocal coaches on CZcams!
Thank you, Adelaide! I appreciate that!
I immediately had to subscribe you remind me of how technical and passionate my high school choir director was she used to say “dictation is done with the tip of the tongue and the teeth” as well lol
Fantastic video, thank you!
Really enjoy the way you change how you sing depending on what you are singing. If I only heard you sing one song then, depending on the piece, I'd think you were a classical singer, or a pop singer, or a jazz singer. Actually, you are all of them. Good singing. (Good teaching too.)
Thank you! That is a huge compliment.
I love how you said that when your larynx is too low you sound "woofy"🤣 your videos are awesome. Thank you for all the great advice!
Glad you like them! Thank you for posting!
You make my day! I love watching your videos

Thank you!!! I am so glad, to have found this and your channel!!! 🌹🌞🙏
Love your energy😃
Thanks for taking out time to teach this. You have helped me, in so many ways.
Your high note in the first recording had such a rich, deep, warm timbre that I didn't realize it was a high note at all until I tried to match the pitch! Wow! And then your 2nd vocal style - also wow! You are a master of them all!
You're videos are so good in so many ways that it's hard to put it into words. Thanks!
Thank you💝You are so full of musical love!
you are genius...Victoria...
Ma’am you’re so amazing! I am interested in learning voice lessons
I just discovered and began watching/listening to your videos. Fantastic! I took vocal lessons from an excellent teacher as a teenager. Your teaching is so similar, but you are covering a broader range of topics. I have a mezzo voice and at least as a young person I had an unusually wide vocal range. My problems that plagued me, besides being a lazy student at that age, lol, were some problems with "breathiness" and also sometimes tending to "swallow" my voice. In retrospect I realize that I had a lot of chronic tension and anxiety , that at times affected my speaking voice in a chronically stressful environment.
Many years have passed but I've always enjoyed singing and haven't at all for some time. I've decided to bring this back into my life because it's such a joyful form of expression and can really connect with the heart, even if one is just doing it alone.
I'm much more relaxed as an adult but I'm eager to see how I can work with my voice and discover what my true singing voice is now and improving it.
Thank you!
omg this is the most useful and professional analysis of singing problems and solution! So detailed and answered so many practical questions. Thank you so much!!
You're very welcome!
Always great.
Something I always do to compare, before and after, is record everything I sing. I think it has helped me a lot. Good luck to all my fellow singers. We need the help.
Also. Victoria. you have beautiful voice! So powerful.
And wow this is the first time I heard you sing beautiful 🤩☺️🤩☺️
Thanks so much Victoria

Thanks to your video❤❤i really love how you teach
I love your suggestions. You sing superbly! I'm a first soprano and trying to imagine hearing the high notes in your voice for help. But as I said, your videos are extremely helpful!
Wonderful! I'm happy to help you!
Yey! Thank you so much! 🤍
You are very welcome! Thank you for following me!
best voice teacher in my life....
I'm so impressed how your singing voice is so different from your speaking voice!❤ I noticed it for me too and got scared a bit. lol
Victoria! No wonder you use VICTORIOUS in your description! This is the second video I have watched, OK a new one, but I will be looking at your others. Being soprano, my world is one full of high notes, but I also endorse singing the lower notes (I can just about reach C3 but cannot go lower) because I know you will understand when I say a "good" range is necessary. My genres are opera and musical theatre (though I sing some "easy listening" songs as well) so I know it is not enough to sing half a dozen high notes! So I simply adore singing and warm up for around 30 minutes, after my body warm ups and "pre-lim" vocal ones. But that aside, I love theory too because theory is important to singing as foundations are for building a house, so this is where you come in Victoria, you are teaching us that theory, but you are making it fun. Your singing at the end of the video was superb, you have a beautiful and crystal clear voice. Please don't give up - we need you!
Oh, thank you, Diane! Best wishes to you!
That 1st song was so beautiful. 🤎your voice🤎 true gift. !Blessed to be picking up your tips! Thank You for posting.
You are so welcome! Thank you for your lovely post!
This is absolutely excellent and so informative!!!!!!! I'm a singer that constantly runs out of air. Especially since I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea 😢
Thank you!❤
Wonderful advice.
Thank you!
I really enjoying the way you teach. I learn so much from you. I am a singer with alto voice. This is the best way to learn from you. Thank you Victoria 🙏🥰🙏
You're very welcome! Keep singing!
the nasal notes thing, that's what I call it. My whole life I have felt that in my Nasal and my teeth. I'm 62 1/2, I still have most of my teeth, most people don't have them at my age. I sing on a Singing app. Awesome, people from all age and all around the world. most people can't sing. and some of us can. I do solos Sometimes for listening purposes, I send out duets. I get a few people Sing along with my videos. But, mostly I sing songs That are sent to me. Lonely at the top. Thank you I love watching your videos, you're very helpful. And a beautiful woman
Good morning! You really inspired me , Ms. Rapanan. I am hopeful and love to learn how to sing properly. Thank you for your precious help. Really appreciate this. God bless you always. 😄❤️🙏💐
So nice of you, Antonia! I am happy to be able to help you!
Thank you so much! Iam tryna practice a song but its has a high notes- i mean- the one qho sang the song is a song bird- but this also helps me from singing and breaking my voice! Thank you so much!
Sing high not that much easier,Thank you so much for this wonderful lessons.❤
🎉❤Thank you SO MUCH!!!
Dear Mam,
Absolutely you are unique, amazingly superb voice.. wow!!🎵💖

thanks Coach
Thank u!
Oh I love singing but I never notice don’t care my mouth shape. But as what you’ve teach or said now l know what the best my mouth position. . Really loved the way you teach ❤
Thank you Victoria you did it again! How can you check a lil piece of song I'm singing to see if I'm doing right or wrong? Ok let me know pls...I will share this with friends
Great videos and vocal technique coaching ! Best you can find on CZcams
I appreciate it your post!!
What excercise can I do for my false vocal cords to open & not close with the ee sound. What excercise or technique to use for them to move side ways. Mine close with the high notes after silent reflux problems. Thank you for your vibrant lessons...it is very inspiring!
Thanks for mentioning the default tongue position. I needed to, know this.
Update: today I sang consciously keeping the tip of my tongue resting behind my lower teeth and it gave the vowels (especially E's) more consistency.
You bet!
gotta love this woman
thank for the wisdom !
great lesson .
i will get practising !
Good
1. Lack of support 2. Too much blow/air 3. Too little air 4. 5. Too much or too little space in throat 6. Improper jaw position 7. Incorrect tongue position 8.
Great! Have fun with your singing!
More wonderful videos of your performances please!
I have a big playlist of my performances! ☺️
thank you
Victoria, I watched and still watch your videos. I had to take a pause a while back though, because although I practice and do as you say, the change didn't really happen until I absorbed and completely understood what you meant by, for example, breath support. I think I watched that playlist four times, then it suddenly clicked 😃. I can support better, I can sustain the tone longer and it sounds brighter (almost to the end!)... It took a bit of time, but god did it change my life! The only thing I need to really work on is linking between high notes in chest and head voice.. I still squeeze my throat when I go high in chest voice. But I know that I got the best coach! 🤩❤️
Sure! This is very common. Sometimes certain things in technique take a while to "click". It may be weeks, months (or even years for some singers). If you practice correctly, things will click when the body is ready and also, the progress happens *_gradually_* . Great to see you again!
@@Victoria-Victorious that is true! Breath support is not as easy as I thought the first time around I heard about it from you. It shocked me really, when I used my muscles correctly, how great my voice sounded!... A game changer!
It is great to be back, ready for your new techniques. ❤️
🎉thank you...
Your very good I understand how you explain what To do.
Glad I could help.
"money" notes! 😆 way to get us working (chop chop now!) on sounding better immediately! i so love you my Italian cousin...2nd, 3rd? 💁♀️ my grandmother...fathers side! My childhood nickname was linguine! 💕 Other half Asian. Poor men in my life! 🤣🤣🤣 Okay back to singing lessons...chop chop! ❤
I'm actually full Filipino, but I was born in NY, so some people think I'm Italian. Ciao!
Dear Lady, greetings from Argentina!
Thanks so much for this great video, Victoria! I was wondering whether you could also cover belting in a future video? Also, will you perhaps release a couple of vocal analysis videos on some pop singers with good technique, such as Lara Fabian or Jennifer Hudson?
And lastly, I noticed that the best sounding high note singers have a huge dip in their tongue the higher they sing whilst keeping their tongue fairly wide at the same time. Is this an indication of correct technique? And if so, is there a particular exercise that can help in achieving this? 🙏☺️
I have a video on belting and also on the tongue. You can find by doing a search. BTW, I am not a fan of the grooved tongue or dip.
I've struggled with my tongue placement for some time because I've been placing it behind my teeth instead of on top which caused it to curl up... Thanks for the tongue tip ... I think I've got a short jaw rather than a long tongue
Not sure if your message had a mistake. The "home base" position of the tongue on all vowels is either behind the bottom front teeth or on the gum slightly below it.
It's a little bit hard to put all those tips togheter, but I'll keep trying... a big hug from a Brazilian fan❤
Olá Brasil! It's great to hear such positive feedback.
maam please can you make a video on singing with thin vocal cords??
You have a pro set of pipes and highly distinguishable from the rest on CZcams Thanks so very much for your passion and insight. Hey but as far as me although I can't sing yet I plan to and as I am always guilty for looking for the - between anal and retentive another window to see through the flesh might even illustrate for us the vocal chords in the same routine as a piano string we shorten them as we strive for the high notes and utilize the entire length as we sing as low as possible in the same routine a lower note longer vocal chord and piano string whereby increasing the sustain and or envelope of sound So as a soprano hits a high glass shattering note it takes for support to keep the vocal pipes primed because the high notes do not resonate or sustain at all in the same manner as the lows. Guy singing in a falsetto learned amongst the rudimentary essentials how to lean the chords in a way against the throat shortening the string like a capo on a guitar OK sorry for the tendentious rant and know I have much love for your voice and in the manner the services you provide There needs to be more singers
I love your videos xx you are UNIQUE. I have a question please .why the throat hurts when singing? Did I miss something?thank you

Hi Victoria, your videoes are very helpful. I sing Chinese Opera(female part) and sing in falsetto most of the time. The problems for me and many of women who sing female part is singing the low notes rather than the high notes. It became unstable when I sing low. I find that there are very few videoes on singing low notes, especially for women singers. Would you consider making one?
Hi Regine! I do have a video on low notes! Sing Low Notes with Power! 8 MISTAKES & SOLUTIONS! czcams.com/video/F2eJWopEbZ4/video.html
This is exactly what I need. I'm still struggling singing high notes.
Follow this video and the others in my playlist on high notes: Singing High Notes - EASIER, SOLID & MORE EXCITING! czcams.com/play/PLaWjWxiTysDDcjU4lWBKrhNlR1o2hCFmM.html
Hi Victoria, I am impressed by your teaching and had subscribed to your singing program. I have this problem which is whenever I did your vocal exercises like humming or practise a open throat vowel, my voice or humming sound just sort of disappears when the notes get too high, I could feel a sense of strong pressure on my head. The humming sound or my voice would come back once it comes down and reaches my comfortable range. How do I improve on this issue?
Without hearing or seeing you, I would say to focus on your middle voice and work slowly upward from there. You are probably disconnecting as you get higher. Follow the videos in my beginner playlist and also in the playlist on high notes.
Maybe this time, dear Victoria!!!! P.x
Hi Victoria, I’m so grateful for you and your lessons.
I have problems with allergies, drainage, etc and do the typical lemon & honey, saline spray and gargling to help clear my voice.
Any better suggestions?
I recently joined Worship group at church, which is why I’m messaging you. The keys and range they sing in make it challenging for me, which is why I’m listening to you.
I’m 60 and was in band and chorus in school and have always played instruments & sang, just not with a group, beside Cantatas at church.
I sing Christian music and love the newer versions of the old Hymns, especially ace Ce Winans “Worthy of it All”, which I practice a lot using my voice.
Hope to get a reply from you on Messenger, thanks for everything.
You’re a wonderful Blessing 😮❤
I prefer nasal irrigation to nasal spray. Do a search on it. I also use Mucinex when needed.
As far as the worship team music, I recommend that you develop a good mixed voice, probably chest mix. See my playlist on the Mixed Voice.
@@Victoria-Victorious Thanks Victoria
What about problems negotiating consonants and high notes? For example Zeiten in the 2nd verse of Schubert’s An Die Musik.
I will make a video on consonants. It is on my list. If you have problems, sing the line on a vowel or vowels and if easier, gently insert the consonant, making sure that you are not stopping the breath, overblowing, or getting tight at the consonant. Go back and forth from vowel only to adding consonant.
@@Victoria-Victorious Thanks. Looking forward to your video on consonant.
Hello, I would like to purchase the Alto Mezzo soprano program. Will all the lessons be provided if I just select that?
I’m not sure I understand your question. Here is the description. Each voice type contains the full program. www.healthyvocaltechnique.com/order-victorias-victorious-vocal-exercise-program/
It feels like I have obstruction in my throat is there something I can do to make it better? I like your video.
See my PLAYLIST on Throat Tension.
I feel like going nasal while singing high notes.I have downloaded all your playlist but don,t know how to watch them serially.
If you are nasal, I have a video on that: Nasal Singing or Nasal Resonance - DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE? czcams.com/video/qAcd-RUSoJo/video.html
There is no particular order for the high notes videos. If you are a beginning level singer, make sure that you have gone through the videos in my Beginner Playlist and have done the exercises.
A request for video(s) on vocal/tone colour plz😭😄
I will make a video on this within the next 2 weeks. I do discuss vocal colors in the first 4 videos in this playlist: Better Singing Tone!
