Jeff Buckley - Unrealesed song "Untitled" from rarities from nyc. I do not own the copywrite to either the music nor the video footage. they belong to their respective copywrite holders.
after a few months when i think ive heard all of Jeff's music, something like this shows up and it's like he just released it from the heavens from which he now sings from. thank you
Take the pain until it all rings hollow We learn to loathe the truth as it shines I already see a ghost on the sidewalk Kissing in the hereafter And your hands are in your pockets as you face her And your bodies both frozen by the door Only one knows they're watching you die They're there from hereafter Young life crushes each young love If anything, life is for somebody else You can hardly live it for yourself And the man you love just doesn't Know who, just what he's after Chances are you wouldn't even Recognize the man I am now Chances are you wouldn't even Recognize the man I am now Chances are you wouldn't even Recognize the man I am now He'll make up any excuse To wear the reins you can't control The knife wanders through me so slow It cuts between us as we grow Ooooh
Sam Segurado Some people are mad about that, but I’m just rediscovering this demo thanks to it. Neat, it sounds perfectly between the Grace album and Sketches demos; light and dark at once
@@TheOSullivanFactor Yeah totally. And I'm not sad about it at all, it's a beautiful metaphor that this amazing song has been under our noses for the last decade. Just like Jeff was under everyone's noses, but not everyone found him before he was gone. It's a hell of a song. I can almost understand them not wanting to release it immediately after his death. "Chances are you wouldn't even recognise the man I am now" is definitely something I could've imagined the 'suicide' crowd running with.
there is something about this song that is so unlike jeff's other songs, in a really deep way.. it's almost spiritual. so pure, honest and raw, like he's revealing this other side to himself. and the fact that there is almost no information on where this song was recorded/when/why.. it makes it all the more beautifully mysterious. i feel as though i've found my song, somehow. i also just realised this was posted on my birthday, after listening to this song for almost a year
kate eloise Totally agree and wishing you all the best. Another strange and spiritual song is you and I. You and I scared me when I first heard it but now the guitar version of it is one of my favorites.
Jeff's music is indescribable. It feels so raw, so human... so real. I am speechless. It almost feels like he's watching over us, I feel his essence when listening to this.
...Meet me tomorrow night or any day you want I have no right to wonder just how or when And though the meaning fits, there's no relief in this I miss my beautiful friend I had to send it away to bring her back again....... ♥ ♥ ♫ Songwriter Jeff Buckley - Morning Theft
MF’ing great guitar voicings in this haunting tune. His music is like a dream and he made so much more than one record. He was on a timeline that was dictated by the inspiration he found within his soul and experience. He went through many phases after his debut. He resides in a class of his own. Forget Tim. He may have leaned on some of his dad’s tendencies in the beginning though he had to grow out of that genetic template and create music like this piece.
This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard. it's so sad and it makes me wanna cry about nothing. gosh, I'm so mad he's gone but I knew that if he were alive then I wouldn't even know him because I heard about him through his death. I'm so happy I did though. this guy is sooo talented and beautiful. this must've been a really tough time for him. this is the saddest song I've ever heard but it's beautiful in a poignant way. iLife you Jeff

Take the pain until it all rings hollow
We learn to loathe the truth as it shines
I already see a ghost on the sidewalk
Kissing in the hereafter
And your hands are in your pockets as you face her
And your bodies both frozen by the door
Only one knows they're watching you die
They're there from hereafter
Young life crushes each young love
If anything, life is for somebody else
You can hardly live it for yourself
And the man you love just doesn't
Know who, just what he's after
Chances are you wouldn't even
Recognize the man I am now
Chances are you wouldn't even
Recognize the man I am now
Chances are you wouldn't even
Recognize the man I am now
He'll make up any excuse
To wear the reins you can't control
The knife wanders through me so slow
It cuts between us as we grow
Ooooh
I love the way I keep finding all these hidden gems of his music even after all these years.
Words cannot even begin to describe the beauty of this. Wow.
Dane Cassidy I've felt that way since the moment I first heard this song. mygod Jeff....
Possibly my favourite song of all time, by my definite favourite artist of all time.
this is the saddest, yet most beautiful thing I've ever heard, Jeff goes straight to the soul
Best artist ever hands down
Also called Sky Blue Skin

kate eloise I like reading things like this. Only thing is, you can find spirit in all of Jeff's music.

So moving and poignant; remarkable song, great video montage, well put together thanks a lot :)
First time listening to this song. Right when I thought I had listened to all his material... Thank you.
If you liked it and wonder where did Jeff got inspiration to write this check Big Star - Third/Sister Lovers album.
My goodness, what a GEM.. thanks for sharing. I think his working title for this one was "The Man I Am Now".. : ) Such a gorgeous track !
Other videos credit it as "sky blue skin"
