It's nice that this song is not that far from their songs like Lie Again, My My or Home, shows that Seventeen does not really follow the trends but they're own style and passion for the music industry. They have been very versatile since day 1, but their songs are just likable and soothing to listen to. It makes me happy that whenever they released new songs, I'd be like gosh this is why I love this group, before I started stanning this group, I have like more than 10 songs in my playlists, till I dive in and realized there's just more in this group than their song. Im glad I have known Seventeen during worst times and now my happy times.
The way you described it is very accurate. I got reminded of Lie Again, My My, and Home too! The calm and subdued confidence in this song is just chef’s kiss. Not to mention, its dynamic sections and switch ups are just enough to tickle our ears. I love it!

@@crybaby8545 i’m pretty sure this is peter pan themed. You can see at one point that Vernon tells the rest of the members that they have no shadow. You can see that they were living so happily in this dreamy Neverland place before that. But I guess being aware of their shadows , a representation of their worries and fears kind of made them see the darker side of themselves.. and in the end the Neverland turned into chaos. This is only my interpretation 😅 There are many theories in twt if you want to read them.

@@aproudbbdkbsbestie267 Vernon gathered all the members to point out how they don't have shadows, hence why he throws the flower to shua and when shua holds the flower, it has a shadow on the ground. but vernon grabs shua's hand further to the sun, but if you look at the shadow shua's hand still isn't shown and its just the flower's shadow (and then cue sebongies shocked Pikachu faces), hope this helps :D

Seventeen songs have a distinct quality that makes it very magical. The quality is always another level of musicality. Only few kpop group can manage sining like a freakin' choir and harmonize so beautifully.
Their songs are really a full package. Especially for their special edition songs where the rap line also sings (like All My Love, To You and this song).

Even though they sing in English, Seventeen still retains their musical style. Yes, they have a musical maturity, but it's always been consistent. This is why I love Seventeen and all of Pledis' artists. Unique in their own ways. I hope that with this song, people will more easily approach and understand Seventeen's music. Sweet but still very close, a brightness that makes us feel warm.
